The whole experience was great! The room is nice and comfy. The bed is firm but soft. The bathroom is well stocked with essentials and cotton balls and cotton tips. The staff was phenomenal and greatly accommodating. Valet was a blessing and quick. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous hotel for our brief visit to Portland. Great staff, great dining, convenient valet parking. Stay at the Eastlund was all part of a fun trip for all our friends and family! Convenient short walk to an NBA game at the Moda Center.

Management in the restaurant was horrible!! He is extremely inconsiderate, and disrespectful. He has zero hospitality skills, we went for the New Year's Eve party where they advertised that it was roof top patio and ball room. What they failed to mention was the roof top was closed for the winter and the ball room was actually a conference room. We spent over $100 for 4 tickets to what was like a 8th grade dance. No refunds! We even got a hotel room just so we didn't have to drink and drive. We clearly did not stay at the "party" and hotel management was no where to be found. I'm not one to complain usually, matter of fact I NEVER complain about anything ever! I'm just so dissatisfied with my whole experience and for the amount that I spent on all of is extremely unfair!! I work hard for the money I have, not to waste it on horrible experiences like this! Never again will I ever come here! Not to mention it was my sisters 53rd birthday as well that got ruined. …

robynnp2023 we are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your NYE experience up at Metropolitan Tavern. Hotel Eastlund and Metropolitan Tavern are separately owned businesses within the same building. From the hotels perspective we very sorry that you did not get the resolution from the management team in the restaurant that you were hoping for. In discussion with Urban Restaurants management their Eventbrite information stated that there would be no refunds and appeared to be clear on what was included. Our outdoor rooftop patio is very popular (weather permitting) however the outside conditions did not allow Metropolitan Tavern to execute anything reasonable on NYE. I understand in discussion that you were offered some appeasement but declined to take them up on what they offered. Hotel Eastlund is very sorry the NYE event as advertised did not meet your expectations especially for your sisters corresponding birthday. Thank you, Jeff Brown General Manager

We chose to stay at this hotel as we were attending an event at the MODA Center. It has a super convenient location to that venue. Any staff member that we came in contact with was super friendly and they let it be known that they were there to make our stay not just pleasant, but memorable. From front desk to valet and even up to the bar/restaurant on the 6th floor, people were friendly, accommodating and very service oriented. We will not hesitate to stay at the Hotel Eastland again should our travels take us to Portland.

Stayed here for an event at the Convention Center. I was really pleased with the entire experience. Valet parking was easy and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the bar on the 6th floor too!

This very modern beautiful hotel in Portland was a great stay for two nights in late November 2022. Only blocks away from the Oregon Convention center and the Rose Quarter (Moda Center) it was a perfect location for our concert at the Moda Center. Public transportation via the MAX is very close and convent for getting around Portland. The rooftop restaurant was very good and popular with the locals which is a good sign. We felt the rates were very reasonable for a large city. The only downside was the cost of valet parking which I thought was too expensive. We will stay again as long as the rates stay affordable.

We agree our hotel is in an ideal location for a Portland convention or a concert or Blazers game at the Moda Center located just 2 blocks from our hotel. Metropolitan Tavern our rooftop restaurant and bar is a local favorite so reservations especially on an event evening a strongly encouraged. We appreciate your comments about our valet parking pricing and understand your concern. We keep our pricing competitive and our competition is $10.00 per night more than Hotel Eastlund. The hotel was great. The room was nice and clean and all of the staff were very helpful. Was in a great location for a nice easy walk to the Moda Center but it was further away from everything else. The breakfast options are limited and not included in the stay and the cafe is not very good, especially for the price. Overall it was a good experience.

This is our hotel for all things Portland. We stay here for every event we attend at Moda Center. Takes minutes to walk to the venue. Whether you want to walk, drive or use the metro line right outside your door, you are minutes from fine dining, shopping prying events and nightlife. The rooms are upscale, immaculate and comfortable. All modern decor with a view from every room. The restaurant on the roof offers excellent food and drinks. Happy Hour from 9-11pm is a great reason to finish the night here!
