Detailed Reviews
I have spent a few months living at the Rendezvous RV Resort. The "resort" has a beautiful park-like setting with lots of grass and trees. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I have enjoyed socializing with the other guests, particularly when we have park BBQ's and gatherings. Best of all are the awesome Park Managers, Leanne and Bill are so attentive and keep us all in line :)

This campground has great amenities: warm pool, hot tub (natural mineral water), marsh and wetlands. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. One man needed something from the store, and the staff stayed open late for him. Each site is a large pull-through with full hook-ups. They also have tent sites. There is a place for children to play, horse shoes pit, and a building for family reunions. The bathrooms and showers have been recently remodeled. They have a laundry as well, and the WiFi works OK. Pets are welcome. They need more trees...but they are working on this. I highly recommend this campground.

Very friendly people and a very nice park. I will stop here anytime I am in the area. We get in late due to a mishap with the motorhome and some still came out to escorted us to our site and make sure we were ok. Yes there is a little road noise but it is not bad

I called in advance of arrival and told the woman the length of our 5th wheel. She quoted me a price. When we arrived she said our rv was longer than we stated. It states on our 5th wheel that we are 34'. This is what I tell every rv park that we go to. Never a problem. She gave us a space and charged us more than she quoted. She said we needed a larger spot. At this point we were not going to start searching for another place. Good customer service would have been to charge us what she originally quoted. We had just left Portland today, and stayed right in the heart of the city, at Jantzen Beach, and paid less than we are paying in La Grange, OR, which is in the middle of nowhere. Won't come here again. It is the principal of the matter that bothers me more than the increased price.

We needed a one night stay & La Grande Rendezvous somewhat worked for us. Check in was extremely slow...had pre booked 3 sites & we wanted the sites together .. 2 rigs were really big so we couldn't get all close to one another. The site we had barely fit our rig so it was tight. Seemed to have a lot of full timers there to. In the morning we wanted a bag of ice but the ice machine had broke that evening so no ice to be had. The RV Park was clean though & reasonable.

Tom & Shane take great pride in their business and property. We started a bike trip from La Grande and (tent) camped at the resort. Clean, conveniently located to groceries/restaurants/services and safe - we highly recommend LGRR! Thanks for the hospitality and generosity.

We liked it! Very friendly and helpful staff. This was a great stop for overnight! Shady spots! Road is blacktop and gravel pull throughs. Close to 84. Convenient to shopping (Walmart) and other retailers.

We stayed overnight here while traveling along I-84. It's very convenient to La Grande and I-84, but it's noisy when you're outside or inside an RV with windows or vents open. We used a graveled, but level, pull-through site with full hookups. Bathrooms included several toilet and shower stalls, and the shower stalls had multiple hanging hooks and a fold-down seat! They also had a laundromat. Managers were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here out of desperation and we couldn't be happier.
I'll tell you may story. We usually make a trip from our summer home in Alberta Canada and choose a different routing each year to visit and see the northwest provinces and states. We travel by the seat of our pants with no definitive plan. We always travel for six hours a day to our home in Arizona and 6 to 7 hours from Penticton targeted a city that was unknown to us and having a rodeo and of course everything for miles around was full.
At 945PM Wednesday evening I phoned for a reservation and was most surprised the phone was answered when expecting a voicemail.
Bill answered and thought he may have a pull through available and he was going to walk to the office and see if there was one. Just phone him back before 1000 PM.
I phoned back and he had one spot left for Thursday night and said he would reserve it. Ok, I offered my credit card and he refused saying plans can change and he wouldn't want us to pay for our reservation until we arrived. God, where have you ever heard of any operator doing this.
There's no short version of this story.
We arrive at 545PM September 15 and walk into the office and ask the most helpful and personable Leanne about our reservation, YES, it was good to go.
Wow, we found our location, parked the bus and went for dinner.
This park is so beautiful, wifi that works, full hook ups, activities, close walking distance to many restaurants, and complimentary tv and for the price of $41.00.
Bill and Leanne Gibson, I've always said business goes where it is wanted and stays where it is welcomed. Both of you are examples of wonderful customer service.
Than you

We got into town late. To our surprise, the office was still open. The office staff were extremely pleasant. The site we were originally suppose to be in was still occupied, but they made it right. The sites were wide making for easy in/ easy our. Good cable and internet. Right off the highway (highway noise could be a problem for some people, but didn't bother us). We'd stay here again.
