Nothing special. Stay here required after Baker City Super 8 canceled reservations made 1.5 months earlier without notifying me or apologizing. They allowed double bookings and then canceled half of them.

La Grande has limited quality hotel availability so took a gamble on this Wyndham hotel. Room had been painted but had spots all over the walls to cover marks. Bed was on hard side, room access is only down inside hall. Granite on counter in bathroom but tub had stains. No microwave, had small fridge though. Check in easy and accommodating. Not much of a breakfast..only usual plastic like waffles and cold cereal. Safe area for parking

The interstate was shutdown due to a 100 vehicle pile-up and LaGrande was where we were forced to exit. Not being from the area and wanting a hotel room for the night (versus sleeping in the car) this was the only hotel that looked decent. I felt it was a bit overpriced at $130 but beggars can't be chooser's. Overall it was a decent hotel and the front desk staff provided an excellent restaurant suggestion for dinner.

We reserved a room for 8 nights In LaGrand Oregon. When we arrived there was only one decaf and one reg coffee. They are single cups not a pot. We asked for more coffee, and they begrudgingly gave us a little more. The weather is very cold so the next day we asked if we could have a little extra coffee for the room and the lady said nothing but silently gave us some and I said thank you and she gave no answer. When we went to pick up our breakfast in a sack the next morning we were told that each room is only allowed one cup of coffee per person and to go down the road to the coffee shop if we want more. AND THE WYNDHAM MOTTO on the coffee cup is “ You’ve earned this cup, And another, And another”. Plus the toilet is running and cold air coming thru the door. The outside door is not sealed. Just had to crank the heat up. Toilet hasn’t been repaired. We come hunting each year but we will not be staying here. A little hospitality and an extra cup of coffee goes a looong way. Sorry they’ve forgotten their own Motto.

All I can say is this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I was assured I would get a NON smoking room, clearly that wasn't true, it smells like smoke, and I have allergies to it. On my reservation it says there is a coffee/tea maker in the room...NOPE. I thought there would be a microwave, NOPE not on the whole property. And NO continental breakfast. They need to remove all of the above as I paid for something I never received! Oh, and don't blame this stupid covid for not having a microwave or coffee maker as the CDC stated it doesn't spread on surfaces. Also the cigarette smoke is not from covid, and offering a bag meal consisting of a granola bar is NOT a continental breakfast. I complained to corporate, lets see if Sherry Talbert does anything about this.

Stayed here for three nights. They did not empty the trash once. They do no room service. The girl at the front is so rude and does not even say hello. We got locked out of our rooms three times every day that that we were here because the room keys changed. The guy is nice, but this doesn't make up for her lack of hospitality. There are no coffee makers in the room. Online, the hotel boasts a continental breakfast, but this includes an apple juice and two Chewy granola bars in a bag. For $100 per night, I was not expecting this service.

During this pandemic, every other hotel chain I stayed at was able to offer a hot continental breakfast, pool, room amenities such as ice bucket, drinking glasses and coffee! This one...? NOTHING When making this reservation, the website claimed to have continental breakfast. I don't consider a brown sack with a stale granola bar, a cup of apple sauce and a can of orange juice a continental breakfast!

As a business owner who sent a customer to a motel in a small town. Found it to be a miserable experience. The pricing was different than online shopping. The real problem was after speaking with the General Manager to help her offer a better experience to her customers, she did not want to listen to the problems that occurred during the customers stay. She had no time. Her employees did not come to help the young woman so she could watch the television she paid for.
When she got to the room and waited for it to be cleaned, she walked in and the BUGS covered the bed. She called and waited for the maid to come back and finish cleaning the room. Really bad experience all around.
If your stranded in La Grande OR you do not want to stay at this motel in my opinion. Jennifer the GM has more to learn to run a good business in my opinion. What a world I live in. Just because someone has treated you wrong does not mean you need to treat others wrong. Change the world and do good.

I am sorry that the guest feels that her stay was not good, however this guest never complained to a housekeeper or front while she was at our hotel. We would have responded immediately had she let us know at the time. Furthermore, our check in is 4pm she checked in at 10:30 am our housekeepers where just finishing up her room. We accommodated her with early check in and her wait was not more than 10 minutes. To this day this guest has never reached out to us.

Needed a 2 queen room for a place to stay for a college visit at Eastern Oregon University...room was dark, beds were ok, pillows were horrible, room felt "semi" clean and the remote for the TV didn't work (which is all I wanted to do after a long day of driving). Still only serving grab and go bags for breakfast (which I don't really understand why). And the price they charge for a room even through Priceline is ridiculous for what you get. Will not pay that price again for the quality of room.

We were pleased with an early check-in. The front desk assistant was very kind at check-in and out. The room was extremely clean. The beds very comfortable and blankets were on each of the queen size beds. Blankets were an item which had to be requested in Montana and Wyoming at other hotel chains. The sack breakfasts were just fine and what we needed to start our day!
