We stayed here for a week while visiting family in the area and were very pleased with the hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean, the hotel staff was very gracious in responding to our every need, and with facilities for laundry, workout, and swimming it had all we could have wanted. The only possible improvement would have been a more extensive breakfast selection, but with a generous sized mini frig and microwave in the room we were able to do our own thing for breakfast easily. Would certainly stay again.

Choice Hotels are generally suspect. If you have to call a place "Quality" or "Comfort" it usually isn't. Choice Hotels are often stuck in the 1980's at best and are seldom great places to stay -- a step above a Super 8. This one isn't perfect but is one of the better ones. Almost meets the basic test of clean and everything works as it should. Shower was barely adequate and the shower head was weak and leaky. Paper thin walls and you could hear loud noise from above. Otherwise, the remodel of my room was pretty good and the staff was friendly and the breakfast good. They must have had problems with guests and/or illegal activity at one time because the elevator is card controlled and you need a parking pass for your car. While I didn't notice anything bad it doesn't make you feel comfortable being treated like a "suspect." Quality Inns are seldom my first, second or third choice but I would give this place another try when I'm in the area.

We stayed here after driving for 7 hours. The beds were completely comfortable and the staff was clean and courteous. I was also impressed with the way the seemed to care about how comfortable we were and if we needed anything. If I had to, I wound stay here again.

Got in at 10:00PM and just needed a clean place for the night. Nice Front Desk Person. Helpful. We did not inspect room prior to unpacking-Mistake!. Went to go to bed, then noticed (2) Quarter Sized brown stains (looked like coffee) and a black smear around 2" X 2" on bed cover. Looked around and then noticed red blood stain and what appeared to be coffee thrown on to the window sheers. There was also some sort of food stuck to the ottoman that I cleaned off. Front desk offered to move us but we were too tired. The remaining bedding seemed acceptable. They said the could not discount our room because it was purchased through Priceline... Management and cleaning staff need to step it up.

NO!! AVOID.

It's possible this hotel is on the verge of closing. It was only a third full on Memorial Day Weekend; and even with lack of guests, service was non-existent.

1. Toilet clogged. Reported to desk and what did they do? They gave us a plunger. We didn't clog the toilet. We were gone all day. At 9pm we're doing plumbing work. No follow up from Staff asking if everything was okay to.

2. No breakfast. They had a water problem months ago and apparently no kitchen. There's a waffle maker by the front desk if you want to try to work around the small space. No other food provided.

3. No Housekeeping even though we asked 3x. We were there 4 days and had to empty our own thrash and beg for TP. Also, no towels except for 2 very small, sandpaper-like ones.

4. Got stuck in the elevator and after several tries to get it to open, I hit the alarm. Finally; the doors opened with the DeskVlerkcasking " what's the emergency?"

Stay away.

Upon entering the room it immediately smelled of smoke. Almost decided to sleep with my covid mask on to dampen the smoke smell. Mentioned it at the front office and she said “OK, I’ll note that for you”. Gee thanks.
For the price, and 1 night only, it’ll Suffice but the property is definitely dated. Suppose that’s what you get when you book from the top of the list on trip advisor. About the best thing about the hotel is it’s location to nearby food/Freeway.

Your website promotes free hot breakfast. Don’t believe it! We had no eggs [unless you count 4 cold boiled ones we didn’t eat], pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, etc. Pathetic! We had to go somewhere else for breakfast.

When booking over the phone pet friendly does NOT mean pet friendly. Max weight is 25lbs was NOT informed but was denied my room upon arrival. ESA/SA does not matter. They will deny entry. Rude staff like I did it on purpose even though I booked 20 minutes prior to arrival and brought her in through the front door. I paid for a pet friendly room. I don’t see why a weight size matters

Not too far from I-84. Clean room. Quiet. Rug in room. Ice machine on each floor. Micro and Refrigerator. Power strip for each side of the bed. About $80 per night with AARP or 10% discount. Card key worked well. No hassle with masks due to our stupid Governor's restrictions.

This hotel worked out great for our last minute road trip. The price was right, the location was good, the room was spacious and very comfortable and the included breakfast was good (so much bacon!). I used the workout room too, which was very good. I did have to take off one star for how they didn't appear to be doing anything special to address concerns with the coronavirus scare. No signage or hand sanitizer at the front desk, at the breakfast room, at the workout room, anywhere. I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable and felt they could have done more.

is there a restaurant and bar on this property?
Answer from EverleighYours
Sonoran Desert222 contributions56 helpful votes
Beth, I recall that there was a lounge area that served food in the evening. The hotel had a breakfast buffet set up in the morning, which I hit each day before heading out. As far as a restaurant, all I remember is the bar area off the lobby.

Could you hear sirens very often inside the room due to the proximity of the hospital?
Answer from Jim M

Once inside your hotel room, you will not hear the sirens or other noise as our hotel is very quiet.

I wouldn't be upset with the hotel if they had offered my family and I a room to sleep in for the night. Had they explained the situation, I would have gladly paid for another room. The staff would not even try to help me book another room (even though the rooms were NOT sold out. I confirmed with with the reservations department when I called the 1-800 number.) The hotel staff LIED and said there was not a manager on staff at that time to talk to (I spoke with the general manager and she told me she in fact was working during the time this was going on). I am mad at the horrible customer service! After being treated the way I was, I then was upset that my family and I drove over an hour to find an available room at another hotel chain, when there was in fact availability at the Quality Inn. After being on hold for more than 2 hours total, being given THREE different names of who the general manager actually was, and waiting a week to finally speak to the real general manager, i think it is fair to say that I have the right to be upset with the service I was provided.
