Looking for a place to stay during my trip eastbound to take care of some personal business. Pulled off to look in Cascade Locks Oregon. I prefer to say (when motorcycling) in places that aren't major 'chains', saw this motel, pulled in and parked next to a bike similar to mine. Checked in an was immediately presented with an ice cold beverage and a question -- We just finished some great home made spaghetti, interested? Yes ... whoa! Where'd they find THIS chef, yummy! I attempted to pay for the beverage and the spaghetti / drink ... answer? No thanks, it's on the house!

Room was quiet, guests were positive and upbeat as were the staff - felt like I wanted to stay longer! Needed to run, but I sure know where I'm staying on the trip back! Wonderful spot, personable staff, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms -- Recommended!

When we arrived the hotel looked really cute, like log cabin style, rustic w/flair. The owner was very kind, gave us popcorn and the DVD'S are free for guests, nice touch. We paid and were told to drive around the block to where the cabins were, imagine my surprise when we pulled in and were surrounded by a bunch of scummy & old RV's. It's basically a old RV park w/nice cabins. Now the cabins they spared no expense, tastefully decorated, all kitchen aid in the kitchen, I was told full kitchen however there is no oven!! There's a really nice couch/futon in kitchen area however not very comfortable. Was told they had memory foam mattress, NOT the bed was hard as a rock!! It had a mattress pad w/a little extra padding. Deff not memory foam!! Inside the cabin there was a strong cleaning smell, she said she would go see while we were at dinner after dinner she said oh it's the pine-sol & just the smell of the new wood, needless to say I had a terrible headache my whole stay. Now let me mention she was very gracious she left us a bottle of wine for the problem, we don't drink. Took it so we could give it to friends. There is a amazing jetted tub, however the water ran cold before it had time to fill, waited awhile and then finished filling. She also let us c/out later than the normal 10am. No ice machine for guests, no freezer if you buy ice. For $109.00 I thought it to be a little high priced I usually stay over n Stevenson for $79.00 w/a awesome view of the river and a hot tub right out the sliding door, beautiful grounds!!! So if you don't mind the smells and being holed up in the tiny bedroom because living area is small and TV placed to high and you don't mind looking out at a bunch of old beat up RV'S. Go for it!!! The owners are very kind and gracious if that's all you need then your good to go.

I stayed one night in the motel while traveling through. My room was clean, comfortable bed, nice quality sheets, nice size towels. Bath was small but clean. I actually took a bath in the tub. Jets did not work but that was ok.
This is not a chain so don't expect chain ammenities. You CAN expect comfort in a beautiful location at a fair price. Walkable to restaurants, coffee shop and grocery store.

The managers were great. I had car trouble and since there is no Uber or Taxi service, they helped me get where I needed when I needed. Very kind.

I definitely recommend and will stay again if in the area in future.

Stayed here before a few times about 8 years ago and it was fantastic. Now, it's a dumpy trailer park. People living in some rooms, the rooms smell very bad, not clean, broken blinds, cigarette burn holes in the bedding, the 1 roll of to looked like it had been dropped in water, and while the manager was nice and tried to fix it, all I could think is how rundown this place has gotten. If you can get past all of that they do have the most comfortable memory foam beds and some great pillows.
This was the 2nd worst place I've stayed in my life.

Loved it! Friendly staff, great room!! It was the perfect stop to put us in proximity to area attractions. Truly a gem! If you stay, check out the brew pub across the street and the ice cream place on the east end of the town. You won't regret it. The setting was great.

The room we were given was very outdated and dirty! It was so bad we went to th e office for a refund, and wow the owner Roger was a jerk! He sent housekeeping to inspect the room and they couldn't even speak english. He didn't give us our money back he told us " I have a business to run and giving money back isn't a option!" Our friends took their RV and were going to stay there for the night however the spots didn't even have running water! They didn't trust staying there due to the people he has living there full time! We ended up going to the KOA and it was VERY nice! Who wants wifi when you can't even take a shower!!! That place is a DUMP!!!

We arrived at the motel at eight in the evening on July 12 to learn there are no vacancies and that the room we reserved two months in advanced and secured through a credit card was given to someone else. The proprietor was extremely rude, shouted at us and made no effort in helping us securing an alternative location.

I was traveling across country with my family and we decided to stop there for the night. I got 2 rooms there but however 1 of the people that was with me didn't want to stay there. So I went to return the keys and told the clerk that was an issue and that myself and my party wouldn't be staying. Well I wasn't there not even for 20 minutes and still ended up paying for the rooms. I guess they don't give refunds there..... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
