I arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before check in time. They took my information and told me they would try to have a room for me shortly. I went into town and they called me when the room was ready. The location could not be better for a beach view with haystack just to the left. The room was on the small side, but comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The service, staff, location, rooms and views at the Hallmark are exceptional. From the General Manager on down, the staff is fantastic, caring, friendly and go way out of their way to make everyone feel great and enjoy their stay to the fullest. If you travel with your dog, this property "wrote the book" on dog-friendly. Spectacular view of Haystack Rock and within easy walking distance to everything. I cannot recommend the Hallmark highly enough.

Hallmark Resort Cannon Beach is a perfect beach vacation for families or couples and the best resort experience in the area! The resort has fantastic amenities such as a salt-water pool and hot tub, free beach toys and chairs, firewood for an evening beach experience, and free hot water/coffee/movies/fresh baked cookies. Our family had an amazing time and have already booked 6 nights next summer. The beach has the softest sand, relaxing sounds of waves and plenty of space to spend the day. The sunsets were amazing and an oceanfront room was definitely worth it! P.S. This is the first resort to have swiss water processed decaf coffee brewed fresh each day which is especially important for people who cannot drink coffee with any percentage of caffeine. It was yummy swiss water processed decaf coffee and better than surrounding coffee houses. …

Perfect beachfront location, right by Haystack Rock, with miles of beach for walking or just relaxing. Rooms are clean and well-appointed, with coffee maker, fridge, and nice toiletries. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

This is the place for relaxation on the coast. Walk miles on the expansive beach. Walk to town for shopping and eating. View, View, View! Definitely get the Ocean View rooms to maximize you experience. Free Warm cookies from 4:00 to 6:00 each evening.

We booked a pet friendly room which we found to be a bit small and in need of some updating (doors and closets...toilet seat chipped). The bed was comfortable. The entire staff at reception, housekeeping, and maintenance were friendly and helpful. Cute gifts and towels were provided for our pet. Delicious fresh cookies and free bottled water were a nice touch. The location of the hotel was perfect for beach walks and shopping.

The Hallmark Inn at Cannon Beach is a great location to relax, watch the waves and enjoy great seafood in the many resrturants in the town . Parking is not the best but we will avoid the weekend the next time we visit.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and the experience was super worth it! We rented one of the king rooms with a hot tub/jacuzzi in the room. Overall, the room was very clean and very nice, at a prime location close to Haystack Rock, right on the beach with easy access to walk on the beach at a moments notice. The view was awesome and overall made our stay very memorable and amazing. The staff were also super kind and helpful.

I see for your stay, the room and in particular the balcony did not meet your expectation and for this I apologize. While many of our rooms are Ocean Front with large balconies, there are some rooms there the view and/or the balcony aren't as luxurious. As you said it wasn't what you were expecting, so we are taking a look at our how we are representing the rooms to ensure other guests aren't feeling mislead. If you don’t like weed smoking, don’t go there. This place went really down. We were visiting Hallmark for 15 years and it changed. I won’t recommend it, unless you enjoy smoking weed on balcony alll day long.

I would like to first apologize for the stay not meeting your expectations due to an inconsiderate person who didn't follow the rules. When you come to the beach and pay for a room with a balcony only to not be able to use the balcony, it can be incredibly frustrating. While we do our best to remind and encourage our guests there is no smoking in the rooms or on the balconies, we often don't find out until after the infraction has occurred that the chose to ignore us. With that being said, please know it is our goal to provide a remarkable experience and unfortunately your stay did not live up to that promise.
