Brilliant, well run & maintained B&B. Extremely clean & well equipped accommodation (plus chocolate biscuits, current TV guide & Bose radio/alarm). Good location for travelling around. Pub/food close by. Excellent breakfast with a good menu choice. Would definitely recommend. A credit to the generous, thoughtful & lovely hosts Sheila & Terry. Thanks again.

We stayed here last weekend for a family visit, and it was just what we needed. Really friendly hosts who couldn't do enough for us, comfy bed, great breakfasts... and right next to two pubs too! It a shame Sheila and Terry are retiring soon as we would've definitely returned in future.

Stayed here while visiting my aunt. Place is spotless. Terry & Sheila run the business. A lovely couple. They looked after us very well. Just like from home to home. It is of a very high standard. Nothing has been left out. I would recommend it to anyone that is visiting here in Newcastle.

Wonderful B and B. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with beautiful linen on the beds. Breakfasts were wonderful and beautifully served. We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time. Lovely outlook and security vehicle parking which took the worry on the safety of our hire car.

After a late decision to overnight in Washington after a party, this was the only place available. How Lucky were we-jackpot! really nice Hosts great accommodation and a Breakfast menu which offered a great choice. I must say £55 for a Double room with breakfast left me wondering, but it has to be the best value around these parts.

I needed a place to stay for just one night on business and the Old Cop Shop did a great job. Room was very well equipped and breakfast was delicious and much needed. It was very conviently situated near the centre of the town, business parks and motorways. Thank you.

What an excellent place. Ever so clean and well maintained with lovely friendly proprietors. I slept very well and had a cracking breakfast. Interesting decor full of character. Infinitely better than staying in a chain. Good parking to the rear. There is only a breakfast on offer but there are places to eat on all sides.
