The Hotel receptionists were excellent, both on check in and later shift, nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and tidy place. The Room was very comfortable. There was one disappointment however - no breakfast, so no full English. 😢 Didnt fancy a breakfast to go.

Room was unclean, toilet was dirty and not flushed. Dust was everywhere in the room. Carpet was visibly dirty. Shower gel dispenser didn't work like it should. Water pressure was not as high as it should be. We have never stayed in Travelodge before and were disappointed about 30 mins internet policy, it should be free like in Premier inn.

Hi I've just left one of your sites in Scotch Corner Services and what can I say.. It was absolutely filthy! Bath dirty, carpets not hoovered properly, bedding stunk of damp... Then to top it off my partner got bitten by a flea on the bed which I caught took to reception to be told no that's not a flea and that I'm basically lying! To be offered no other room and just left to get on with it. So went back to the room where ended sleeping in our clothes on top of the bed so as not to get bitten again. Absolutely horrible experience and really not happy, never again!

A friendly face after a long day, thank you Sarah. Check-in was painless, everything was explained clearly and the room was cool and comfortable after a hectic day on the road. Would highly recommend.

A good stay. The rooms are good for an overnight stay. Although close to the motorway, the rooms are not noisy. The staff were very good. I would mention the excellent service from staff. Sarah was on the late afternoon shift, working until late evening. My issue was with the useless confectionery machine, not operated by Travelodge. Sarah helped me get my chocolate out of the machine. Very polite and helpful after I put my card into the cash slot. 😂😂😂😂😂

We had a quick one night stop off. Great that they provided a fan in the hot weather. Good service, clean and welcoming. A lot of traffic noise overnight from the road and services but the hotel itself was quiet. Would stay again.

I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels up and down the country over the last few years and this is probably one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at. There was so many reasons for this to be a 0 score from me. The room looked like it had been decorated in the 90s and not touched since, the carpet was nothing short of disgusting. The pop up bed for my son to sleep on (family room) was a health hazard as the legs have round edges and if you sleep anywhere other than right in the middle of it, it tips over! Twice on our 3 night stay the bed fell over in the middle of the night. There is no plug sockets or phone charger points on or near the bedside tables. The room has no air con which in this day and age in a hotel is quite unbelievable, it was only 20deg outside but the room was like sleeping in an oven, the little fan doesn’t do much to help this. Only 1 key allowed per room and I enquired to get another but was told no, so after my son and I came back each time from the local race track, had to get my wife to come and let us in or wake her up to let us in. I could go on and on about how bad this stay was for us but I can’t be bothered, much like who ever is looking after these rooms!

Comfortable stay - We stayed overnight for a wedding in the local area. Busy service area but ideal for surrounding area. Travelodge set away from Costa/moto eating area so little noise once inside. Rooms/beds very comfortable and we considered it was good value for money for an overnight stay

On way home from Scotland, the traffic was awful and a road was closed leading to major issues. Booked online at last minute. Got a downstairs room as requested. The room was clean, the shower was excellent. The staff were very good. We had a good sleep and ready for the final leg. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Just ask. Our room (23) overlooked the car park and the services. We heard not a sound.
