Detailed Reviews
We stayed here on Monday night 14/6/22 it looked pretty and the reviews were good, we arrived and all I can say is WOW!
We stayed in one of the cabins in the garden (my other half thought it was hilarious we were sleeping in someone's shed) well he was amazed and quickly took back his comment.
The hosts showed us round and asked what time we would like breakfast etc, Huge comfy bed, we got ready and set off into Cowes for the evening, we were shown the back gate which is great as we did not need to disturb the other guests and on our return we were blown away, the huge garden was lit up with fairy lights and the water features running, so pretty and tranquil.
We slept amazingly well and had a shower, plenty of hot water in the lovely bathroom.
Breakfast was served to us on our veranda at the time we requested. fresh orange and tea lovely fruit, yogurt and followed by a full breakfast!!
(if your bothered by a few cobwebs this isn't the place for you, you need to bare in mind your in the garden) but anyone looking for a lovely peaceful place to stay I would highly recommend, the owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Separate access to comfy room and good bathroom. Nice house. Lovely big garden. 5 min walk to centre of town (bit of a hill). Next to nice Victorian park. Dog friendly. Fab breakfast, including fruit, yogurt, home made marmalade, good coffee, well cooked hot food. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

We arrived on Saturday for a family wedding. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. They agreed to an early check in so we could change before the wedding, and lent us an iron and a few other items that we needed. The host then showed us a quick route to the wedding venue (which was about 50m away) via the back garden. What a delightful walk through the garden again in the evening as we made our way back from the wedding. Lovely fairy lights all the way up to the house. The hosts were so considerate of dietary requirements and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning and a chat before we left. The B&B was ideal for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt the owners were very friendly.

We only stayed at Jonathan and Melissa’s for one night as part of our coastal path walk but wish it could have been longer. They were very hospitable and lovely, interesting people to chat to, full of local knowledge and recommendations.
Their house and garden is wonderful. The fairy lights in the garden leading to the back gate make it particularly magical.
Our room was perfect and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious (and certainly helped fuel our walk to Yarmouth!). It was lovely having fresh fruit to complement the full English.
It’s about a 10 minute walk into the town and 5 minutes to the Isle of Wight coastal path so perfect if you’re walking around the island as we were.

We arrived here after a long walk and wet through due to heavy rain. Penny couldn't have been more helpful in welcoming us and taking away all our wet clothing to dry and making us comfortable. We stayed one night in the chalet which was in a beautiful setting. We were well looked after and set off the next day with a packed lunch for our walk.

Just spent a delightful 5 night stay at Ward Avenue B&B lovely clean, sunny bright room with shower room en- suite.
Melissa and Jonathan cannot do enough for you.
We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and opted for fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by a Full English breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. The location of the B&B was perfect to walk into Cowes Town centre. this can be accessed via the beautiful back garden which is about a 15 minute walk down hill for the beach and numerous bars and restaurants. inparticular we enjoyed our meal at Pier View.
Good location for touring the Island.
Absolutely recommend to anyone

We loved it, perfect little lodge in the garden with two lovely hosts. Very clean and cosy. Bed was large and comfortable and had a lovely hot shower. So close to Cowes, 5 mins walk to town.
Enjoyable walk around the park behind the lodge and back for the most wonderful breakfast, delicious fresh fruit, yoghurt to die for, followed by a delicious cooked breakfast, with quality products including first class bread and sausage.
Hosts just lovely. See you soon 👍 Hopefully we will see the red squirrel then in the very cool garden, very romantic with the twinkling lights❤️

+1
We booked for a night b&b we had a garden chalet which was adorable. It had an enormous bed with shelves and hangers for our helmets and clothes we were on motorbikes which they had no problems with (some places do although we are mature bikers). The bathroom was a wet room, loved the silver glittery toilet seat. Had everything you could need. The tea and coffee supplied was just the right amount. It has a electric fire that warmed the room up very quickly (we were cold from being on bikes all day). The b & b was a short walk from town which was nice. In the morning breakfast was bought down to us yoghurt and musili followed by cooked english breakfast. The b & b owners even blocked our bikes in for the night which we appreciated. Overall a little gem that my hubby found will be going back

We were greeted at the front door by the host who introduced themselves and showed us to the room. The room was excellent and we loved staying in it. The furnishings were to a really high standard and we were super comfortable. Location is brilliant, you are a short walk from everything but it is secluded enough to be silent. The breakfast was great and the hosts were able to adjust to our dietary requests. Local food and great coffee. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this B&B was EASILY within my top 10!!!!

This place is magical, the lodges are just perfect for us, hidden in a secret garden. Location is second to none. Walk out of the secret gate into a beautiful park and minutes from the hustle and bustle of Cowes.
Johnathan is the perfect host, helpful and kind without being intrusive.
Breakfast is delicious, wonderful fresh fruit and delicious yoghurt, followed by a beautifully cooked breakfast of great quality.
Not our first visit and definitely won’t be the last.

Hi, not sure if our chalet was the red squirrel one but I will send some pics anyway. But I can assure you it will be amazing. I can't wait to ho back!
