We enjoyed a very good stay at Hurst End BnB. The room was functional and clean, the shower hot and strong and the breakfasts were top class and cooked to order. A slight negative was unreliable WiFi in our room, though down in the dining room it worked well. Our hosts, Pauline and Phil, were very personable and helpful, without being intrusive. We unhesitatingly recommend Hurst End to visitors to the New Forest wanting a good place to stay, at a reasonable price and with excellent hosts.

So, so lovely. This was a last minute booking and I'm glad Pauline hadn't been home to answer the phone to anyone else!
Such a comfortable B&B with easy access by foot into Lyndhurst and home again with the complimentary use of the house torches!
Breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh.

We managed to book a last minute Saturday night at Hurst End, and we were really happy with our choice. Pauline welcomed us at the door and showed us to our bright and clean double room with en-suite. After a long day exploring the new forest we had a great nights sleep and really enjoyed the cooked breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend

Stayed here for a long weekend after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, and it more than lived up to expectations. Making a very last minute booking over the phone was quick and painless, and from arrival to departure the proprietors were always going the extra mile; from giving us recommendations for food and activities to making us feel really at home in their B&B.
The B&B is situated perfectly, a nice ten minute walk up into Lyndhurst which itself is centrally located within the New Forest. Here you will find many restaurants covering all tastes and budgets; my girlfriend and I ate in the village every night we stayed, taking Phil and Pauline's recommendations, and didn't have a bad meal.
The room we stayed in was beautifully presented, a comfy bed with plenty of storage space, a television and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was similarly well done, with a nice shower and very clean.
To end, we really enjoyed our time here and I've no qualms recommending this B&B. I will certainly be looking to book next time I'm back in the New Forest!

We came across Hurst End rather luckily since most of the B&Bs in the area were booked out. The entire stay was perfect - clean, cozy, perfect recommendations and delicious breakfast! Nothing out of place and a wonderful location.

This place is amazing
The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely book again cannot wait to return.
The room was immaculate bed lovely and firm, tea and coffee facilities brilliant. Bathroom was lovely.
The breakfast was lovely cooked fresh for you with toast, juice, cereal and fruit and yoghurts, could not of asked for more it was delicious.

What a lovely place. 5/10 minute walk into Lyndhurst. Perfectly formed room with a lovely ensuite bathroom with constant hot water - a great sized bath. On arrival we had the loveliest welcome from both Pauline and Phil and a range of recommendations of where to grab some dinner. We were even given a discount voucher for a local pub. Breakfast was lovely with yummy bacon and sausages and gorgeous bread. Will be back, absolutely lovely stay here at Hurst End!

Great place to stay in the heart of the New Forest. We had a great time due to Pauline and Phil's kind hospitality, great breakfasts, clean comfortable rooms, information and lots of laughter. We would thoroughly recommend Hurst End and we will be back.

As I was invited to a party for the Queen's birthday in the New Forest I could think of no better place to stay than the B&B at Hurst End where I had been received so well a year earlier.
