Stayed here for 4 nights in the family room.complimentary wine/beer snacks on arrival was a nice touch after a 5 hr drive. Covid 19 regulations were well covered with hand sanitiser available, room was cleaned thoroughly.

Breakfast was excellent, and a different sitting from other guests with a clean down in between. A full English was on the menu plus cereal, fruit etc(home made croissants were Debbies speciality!) Nothing was too much trouble and even a picnic was made for a trip upon request.

We found our stay a delight and very relaxing, the sea is a five minute walk and local pubs 10-15 min walk away.

With family being close by we will be staying again no doubt.

Stayed 22nd - 23rd September 2020

We've had the pleasure of staying here numerous times. Debbie and Trevor are excellent hosts.
Although we currently have a reluctance to travel, we needed to visit a relative. We were. during the current pandemic, delighted to find extensive safety measures in place. There was hand sanitiser both in reception and our bedrooms, antiseptic wipes available, and obvious care taken by the owners to observe regulations and current guidelines.

As usual, the acommodation was excellent, clean, very comfortable, and with much-appreciated touches such as complimentary individual wines, snacks, and an outstanding (and freshly cooked) breakfast.

When visiting the area, Willow Cottage is always our Number One choice, and based on our latest stay, this will be unlikely to change.

Many thanks from Ann, Mike and Liz!

Booked this bed and breakfast as visiting family locally. When I spoke to Debbie the Owner on the telephone to enquire about availability she instantly made me feel comfortable and confident that I would be well looked after, particularly as I would be staying for the first three nights on my own before my husband arrived at the weekend.
I stayed for five nights and it totally exceeded all expectations. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and every little detail considered with products in the bathroom and little sweet/savoury treats left each day. The breakfast room was absolutely beautiful and really felt like home from home. Breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh, Again Debbie could not do enough for you. Although be mindful of the portion sizes! Lol!
Parking perfect & location ideal. Couple of mins walk to the beach & 2 pubs within 10 mins walk.
We will definitely book here again when in the area and cannot recommend highly enough.

Previous reviews say it all - quiet location, close to the beach and within easy reach of many local attractions.
Rooms are spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable with the most welcoming and friendly hosts - plus the best breakfast you could wish for, freshly made with quality produce.
We stayed in the area for a festival and our four night stay saw the worst weather possible, but the warmth shown to us at Willow Cottage made our trip a thoroughly enjoyable one.
Five stars plus.

Debbie and Trevor, what can I say except it felt like home from home. Everything was absolutely spotless, the rooms were lovely, the breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious. complimentary tea, coffee etc in the rooms, cold drinks in the little fridges. Debbie even left us Gin and tonic in our room to enjoy. NOTHING was too much trouble and Luna the dog was an added bonus!! Would I stay again YES I would. if you are looking for a short break away from everything in a lovely clean b and b this is the one! Hope to see you again soon. Thanks

Willow Cottage is a top class B&B and Debbie is a great host. The rooms are spotless and very well stocked with many "little" extras such as wine and beer! Breakfast was generous to say the least with lots of choice and good quality food. All in all a great place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights with our two young children the weekend after lockdown was lifted so that we could visit family locally, with the added advantage of being only 5 minutes walk from the beach.

Spotless throughout, Debbie has made her b&b feel homely and welcoming. She’s gifted with the rare ability to know when you would like to talk and when you need to get on and her attention to detail was much appreciated, with touches such as mini bottles of wine for us and colouring packs for the children, plus an abundance of toiletries and snacks. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Debbie was only too happy to recommend takeaways.

It turned out to be an exceptionally hard weekend for us as there was a close family bereavement during our stay, but we genuinely couldn’t have been in better hands than with Debbie & Trevor. They bent over backwards to make things easy for us, packing a delicious smoked salmon sandwich on homemade bread for my husband who had to miss breakfast in order to be with family, packing our bags whilst I kept the children occupied and offering us an extra night should we have needed to stay on.

In summary, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Willow Cottage and we very much hope we get the chance to stay again under happier circumstances.

If you are looking for a quality B and B look no further.

Everything here is quality, premises, food, rooms and owner.

Room is spotless, decorators must have walked out back door as we walked in the front door. Furniture and dressing are top notch, just as you would want your own home, very tasteful.

Beds are comfy with quality linen, best nights sleep I have had for a long time, I have a back that insists I wake up in the middle of the night, not here.

Bathroom spotless, quality toiletries items supplied. Plenty of hot water at tap and also from shower.

Breakfast immense, too much for us. Quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. The usual breakfast items but with flair!
3 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and beans. quality toasted bread. Wow it will keep you going till dinner.
Filter coffee too, not the rubbish from an espresso machine.
Heaven. Dining room tastefully decorated

Complimentary red and white wine or Stella. Coffee packets, tea etc, sugar white and brown cubes of course, crisps etc. Tasteful mugs and glasses to drink it out of.

Plenty of room to park a large car without danger of getting it damaged. My car large Merc, long wide coupe, aluminium body so easily damaged, no problem in large yard.

Owners charming, cannot do enough for you.

What’s not to like? Recommended, try and you will not be disappointed.

An excellent return visit to Willow Cottage where we are always made so welcome. The hosts are friendly and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for Debbie, she makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to cater for guests individual needs. During this pandemic she has done everything to make guests feel safe and comfortable. The rooms are delightfully decorated, immaculately clean and so well equipped, with complementary toiletries, drinks, nibbles, a fridge and fresh milk. Breakfast is delicious and perfectly cooked. A wide choice is offered to cater for all tastes. It’s hard to resist Debbie’s full English breakfast! We would have no hesitation in recommending this bed and breakfast to anyone. Excellent!!

We stayed for 4 nights between Christmas and New Year 2022.
We were given a wonderfully warm welcome by Debbie and Trevor on arrival and instantly felt comfortable and ‘at home’.
The breakfasts were beautifully cooked from a selection that would please most people.
Debbie’s attention to detail generally and in the room in particular made the whole experience one of the best we’ve ever had in a B&B.
We’ll be back!
