Detailed Reviews
I was here for 6 weeks as I was on a course with my work nearby (I travel and stay in hotels a lot with my job). My stay here made a nice change from the usual soulless hotels I'm used to. The rooms are big, comfy and have the feeling that you're staying at a relatives house. The only one observation for the rooms was that the noise isolation isn't great and you can here movement about the house/adjoining bedrooms. As B&B it's roughly the same noise level as you would get with any house and it didn't present a problem. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want with cereals/fruit/juices and the full range of cooked options available to order. It's also centrally located within Fareham and there is plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Immaculate and very comfy room, excellent COVID precautions. Felt very safe. Owner Sean and the two ladies who served breakfast were very friendly and helpful, Sean even bought me a drink to celebrate the birth of my grandson. Beautiful garden. And talking about the breakfasts .. wow wow wow. Amazing. Overall, a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this guest house.

I travelled down from Liverpool to visit a friend in Portchester. Sean welcomed me at reception giving me my room key as well as the WiFi password and taxi numbers.
My room was beautiful, so tastefully decorated and feeling so cosy.
I got ready for my night out in a hot shower with lovely complimentary toiletries. A hand mirror was even available to use in my room. I slept like a log that night under the fluffiest duvet and silky smooth sheets.
Breakfast the next day was delicious. I opted for scrambled eggs, bacon and mushroom as I was going for lunch early. This was are in front of a lovely coal fire.
I would like to thank Sean for the lovely stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again (I got such a bargain price from Booking.com)
Thank you.

What a wonderful weekend we had here.
We came as three family’s of four, all related.
We had a warm welcome to the stunning guest house and made to feel really welcome.
The whole house is spotlessly clean and 100% covid safe.
The rooms are huge with everything you need.
Breakfast is amazing anything you want and more and cooked to perfection!!
There is plenty to do in the area for all the family from stunning beaches to the ponies and great shopping.
We would like to thank you for your hospitality and for the visit from a very special boy Eddie.❤️We will most certainly return.😀

This is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are great and the breakfast is second to none. Excellent covid precautions are in place. The setting is lovely and peaceful with just a short walk to the town centre. Lots of choice for resteraunts nearby. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful.

Only stayed for one night, however it’s very well thought out establishment.
Lovely garden space, and awesome breakfast.
Lovely rooms and fabulous decor.
Host is a very gracious gentleman, proud of his guest house and very rightly so.

Just back from 2 night stay at The Trafalgar B&B. Can’t speak highly enough about it. Stayed in family room. It was very quiet, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The room was large and had a massive bathroom both with bath tub and walk in shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Location ideal for visiting Fareham, walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants but still in a lovely quiet area.

Stayed for 1night only. We were made very welcome and shown to our room, which was spotlessly clean, with iron, ironing board, hairdryer and radio alarm all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. Being near to the town centre, this guest house benefits from a large off street car park, and there are a number of nearby pubs and restaurants for an evening meal. Will certainly stay again when in the area.

Over all the Rooms where average, but for the price I guess they where O K the Breakfast was good, and the Staff are helpful perhaps as I am from the area, (some 30 years ago when I left), Maybe I was expecting a little better than what we got, the Main issue was the toilet leaked and no one seemed to know how to fix it. maybe call a plumber would have been the best answer.
