The hotel is walking distance to Progressive Field, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and various shops & restaurants. They offer valet parking, but we parked in a garage behind that hotel for a much lower cost. We stayed on the 4th floor in a chandelier suite. The room was very spacious and we had a great view of Playhouse Square. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and a Keurig with decaf and regular coffee. There were plenty of outlets/usb ports near the nightstands. The hotel gym is also very nice with a lot of room and equipment. We didn't realize that housekeeping only comes when requested, but it wasn't a big deal for us. We were staying 2 nights and I only needed additional sugar and creamer, which I got at the front desk. Due to my fear of elevators, I always request a low floor and take the stairs to my room. Guest rooms start on the 4th floor. The stairs are a little out of the way, but one of the employees was nice enough to walk me to the door so that I knew where they were. Only very minor complaints/room for improvement - The air conditioning wasn't great in the room. It was a very large room, so that probably has a lot to do with it. There was only 1 tiny garbage can in the whole room, which just seemed odd. There was only powder creamer for the coffee instead of liquid - just a personal preference.…
I really enjoyed my stay. Excellent service, clean room and friendly staff, I liked their breakfast menu. Will definitely love to go back with my family. I asked for herbal tea at 11PM and the receptionist was nice enough to find some from their restaurant. My room had a very nice view.
Location is great, Bathroom had hair on the floor (not cleaned very well), We had booked with the breakfast rate, it appeared for all 4 people to be included, but this was misleading since it is only for 2 people. They said they get this all the time from customers. But if that is true, then why would they not reveal this detail when the room is booked? Staff was very nice and polite.
We visited Cleveland for the first time this past weekend. I chose this hotel for is closeness to the theatre district since we were seeing a show. It was perfect for this scenario. The room was clean and spacious. The kuerig coffee maker was great! The only downside to paying this much was after the fact my mother told me she froze all night long because there was no down comforter in the room nor a spare blanket anywhere. Yes, she should have called the front desk but this rate I would expect a room double check before guests check in. Also The breakfast in the dining room is plentiful
Location is good if you want to be in the center. The room was large and had the amenities we expected. The bathroom clean and nice except the shower head needed rinsing, as quite a few of the soccets were blocked. The bed was a bit on the soft side, but there were loads of pillows which was nice. The gym was good. The staff in the reception were wonderful. We parked in a public parking house right behind the hotel which functioned great.
All hotels have some recovery to do post-pandemic. Services at most places are a bit inconsistent. We offer this in that spirit. The positive stuff: some very nice rooms. Good restaurant, even when understaffed; great chat with Chad, and the lady at the front was very helpful. Superb location near the first-rate theater complex. Many good eateries nearby. Mr. Alex at the front door will take fine care of you. -- The minor issues: Some underdecorated rooms; the place needs a re-designer. Nightstands are just lil round tables, which is okay if there are drawers elsewhere, but there's only one place w small drawers near coffeemaker and there's no "dresser." Only one washcloth, kleenex box was empty, and we carried one tiny soap from main-room sink to bathtub. When it's only those thin plastic cups, need more than two total per room. Yes, these are small matters but cumulative for a full-service hotel, you know? Up your game jussssst a little. We really like the place anyway. Very friendly vibe.…
We had the most bizarre experience at this hotel that we’ve never had. We were charged a $250 cleaning fee and when I called to find out why the said there was butter smeared on the bed and the TV. I couldn’t believe it because we didn’t have any butter in the room. My kids were there but there was literally no way they could have reached the tv and obviously my husband and I wouldn’t do that (if we even had a stick of butter). When we checked out there was no butter on the tv. They say it’s our word against theirs and they have a picture. It feels like such a scam and I tried to see on Facebook reviews if this happened to anyone else but their Facebook reviews are turned off. Totally weird situation in all aspects and completely rude when calling them. So I guess if you stay here make sure to take pictures before you leave so you have more evidence when they say it’s our word against yours.…
We asked for King bed and got 2 queens. We had no towels when we got to the room and had to call for them. Valet took over 45minutes to bring us our car. When I asked where my car was he got snippy and told me I should have self parked and used profanity. Besides a good location nothing was good about this place!!!!!
Great location -centrally located and within walking distance to all sporting venues, the Rock HOF and the casino. Upon check -in we were greeted by Amanda. She was very friendly, advised us since we were only there 2 days we would not have housekeeping, but to call if we needed anything. She also helped us with some restaurants in the area and gave us a printout of them with their addresses. We also met Kathy at the front desk and she was very nice. We did need extra towels and coffee and when we called they were brought up within minutes. We had a lake view room which was clean and stocked with all the necessities. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
What a great experience! The hotel was perfectly located, staff was wonderful, and the restaurant was amazing. We self-parked, saving a few dollars. It was easy enough. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Will stay again for sure. Walk to your theater at Playhouse Square.
