I didn't know what to expect having never stayed here before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Easy check in, everything was clean and went smoothly. The only downside is the (expensive and should be already included in all of the extra fees) valet. So very slow. They need way more help. Seems to be people checking in and out in clusters. Breakfast was complimentary and plentiful. Walking distance to both the Rock Hall and Progressive Field amongst others.
This property seems more like a Hilton than a Hampton Inn. I found it nicer than some of the Hiltons I've stayed at. Stayed one night in August, 2021. Solo trip driving from MI to CT. Went to an Indians game while I was there. I booked a stay including the parking directly with Hilton.com. The parking process is easy, friendly and quick. Allow a few minutes to retrieve your car. If you are using the valet parking, you'll need to present the stub to the front desk. So, the phone app check-in is not totally contact free. I selected my room on the 15th (top) floor. Nice view of St John's Cathedral across the street. The room was clean with relatively new furnishing. Comfortable bed, bedding plus a small desk area and a dresser. The lighting and outlets were sufficient and well located. TV is decent sized with 75+ stations - including the major news, sports, movie and local channels. The breakfast was okay. a couple hot premade omelet choices, cereals (including oatmeal), muffins, fruits and make your own waffles. Better than the standard Hampton Inn fare. The location is convenient to the Rock & Roll HOF, downtown Cleveland and all 3 major sports venues. I walked to the Indians game (<15 minutes). At 11:30 PM the walk felt safe, well lite and with plenty of other baseball fans.…
Stayed in a two double bed suite during road trip on one of the highest floors. Very comfortable and clean room. Very nice bathroom with shower and tub. Room has a small desk area but no large sitting chair (the two chairs to sit in are both small and not very comfortable). Nice view from the room. Excellent location (short walking distance to Jack Casino, The Arcade and 4th street restaurants, slightly longer walk to R&R HOF). The breakfast was quite good serving eggs, sausage, potatoes and all of the continental breakfast stuff. The valet parking could have been better. The valets did not seem to have a good attitude and the service was a bit slow.
Great location for our 2 night stay visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Room well appointed with city view of the Cathedral. Comfortable king-size bed ensured a good nights rest after busy day sightseeing. Excellent staff in all areas. Breakfast buffet can be manic depending on the time of visit, good.
Great location and parking. Valet parking good until 2pm next day. Can also secure bags after checking out. 10 min walk to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Shorter to CVS on 9th street. Better location to pick up snacks and beverages. Open to 10pm. Disappointed no real half and half with morning breakfast coffee.
Horrible check in experience. Not organized. Made reservation. Called to verify day of. Asked about parking. Was told that only option was valet. Arrive. Line of cars. Valet says he is alone and is leaving. Ask inside. Clerk is unaware but she says she will check on it. Go in told we will get parked. Call back after 10 more min. Told we probably have to park elsewhere and just pay for it separately. Game in town so nowhere to park. Found a Double Tree. Much better. We will never stay at this Hampton again.
We stayed at this Hampton Inn for just one night as we were spending the day in Cleveland and attending a Guardians game at night. The arrival process is a little stressful as it is valet only and there is only room for about 4 cars to pull into the valet section. It was full when we first arrived, so we had to circle the block twice before a spot opened up so that we could pull in. The hotel itself is very nice for a Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean, and overall it just had a much more fancy feel than your typical Hampton. The location of the hotel was very convenient for walking around the city. We walked down to the Great Lakes Science Center and then later we walked to the ballpark for the Guardians game. With the game getting out after dark, it felt completely safe in this area to walk with our two children back to the hotel (many other people are walking this route with you). Overall, this was a great place to stay!…
The two young ladies on duty when we checked in, Heather & Esmeralda, were delightful! They helped to make our first stay in Cleveland successful with their willingness to make recommendations whenever we inquired in addition to always being professional and kind. The location of this hotel was perfect, just a short walk to The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which was the sole reason we had Cleveland on our itinerary. Our king size room was clean and comfortable. I actually would have given this hotel five stars, except for the following: We’ve stayed in lots of Hilton hotels, especially Hampton Inns, but this is the first time that I can recall that we didn’t have a small fridge in our room…no microwave either. We really had no need for the microwave, but a fridge would have been nice for our water, wine and soft drinks. Wi-fi was included in the price of the room but was so slow that my husband couldn’t read his daily paper online. The vanity in the room had very little counter space for our toiletries…very tight space. Also, we were initially provided with only one bath towel, one hand towel and a single washcloth for each of the two of us. We booked for two nights so expected more towels. (Nowadays, most hotels only provide daily housekeeping upon request, which is more than fine with us.) The staff was speedy however at delivering additional towels when we asked for them. On a positive note, there was a nice city view from our 14th floor window (we chose this option when booking). Although the ice machine on our floor was out of order, it wasn’t a huge problem to go to another floor for our ice. We would stay here again.…
We were looking for a hotel near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and this was a 5-minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the variety of restaurants in the area.
Staff was attentive and accommodating, rooms were neat and clean, the fitness room was more than adequate, and the free breakfast had decent choices. Housekeeping was not an option during COVID (which I appreciated), but clean towels were always offered. The beds were comfortable and round were aesthetically designed. A small convenience store and 24-hr free coffee was always available. The valet retrieved/parked vehicles at any hour needed.
