We have been frequent visitors to CP Felbridge, but this was my first visit and venture away from home in some time due to ill health. From check-in to check out the entire experience was relaxing, enjoyable and trouble free. Front desk and restaurant teams went out of their way to make sure every need was catered for, and the facilities were to a very good standard. We dined at the Bay Tree Restaurant for breakfast and dinner on both days. Good quality food, well presented in a relaxed and comfortable setting. The entire team were outstanding but it was great to see Sandra once more at breakfast on the first morning. What a bright, cheery and welcoming person. See you soon
This is a great hotel and the customer service is fantastic. We did a single nights stay here on a Saturday night. The room is large, clean and well kept. We had a coffee in the cosy club lounge, and a drink in the bar which had a great atmosphere. Unlimited breakfast in the restaurant was also really great and impressive. Plenty of parking as well. Highly recommended hotel.
Very good breakfast selection. Nice and warm restaurant and corridors. Very cold bathroom makes drying towels difficult. The health spa closes too early and too often the sauna steamer or jacuzzi is faulty.
A treat long weekend for hubby and I, and we had a great time. Every single member of staff we met during our stay was very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful, and we also enjoyed using the pool facilities during the day when they weren't busy. All in all a lovely weekend.
I always stay at this hotel if it's available, the staff are fantastic and cannot do enough to make your stay welcoming. The hotel is always clean and the food good. The spa is great although recent staff shortages have meant it has been closed in the evenings which has meant I have dropped this from a five star to a 4.
We have had an awful start to the year but when we checked in we were given a complimentary bottle of wine and our room was swapped to one with a bath so I could relax. Really really friendly staff and amazing service. The room was lovely and comfortable and clean. Highly recommend
Arrived at the hotel around 2am this morning with my 2 kids to check in to our prebooked and paid for room only to be told they'd overbooked and they had no room for us.! Having just got off a flight and having already driven to there from the airport I was obviously unimpressed. I was told they'd transferred the booking to the holiday Inn that was another 15 - 20 minutes drive away like I should be grateful. I asked (not particularly pleasantly at this point much to my discredit) where it was and was told to calm down and they needed TO PHONE TO CONFIRM IT! So they'd overbooked the room and done absolutely nothing to arrange accommodation for us and then expected us to wait while they sorted something and then drive to it by which point I'd have been a fair way home.. So I declined! APPALLING AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They could have made me aware before and I could have gone straight to the alternative, or if not the VERY least was that they should have already have had the other sorted so we could have just gone straight away. Instead I was soo angry adrenaline got me home as by this point the alternative was pointless as I was too angry to sleep! I WAS NOT offered a refund by the hotel or anything else. In fact when I asked in the hotel if they would be refunding the stay I was told 'No, we'll be paying for you to stay at the Holiday Inn'! . I'm the end I had to contact the booking agent for the refund. The hotel didn't care. Didn't offer any explanation and is claiming to be blameless as they offered to accommodate me on another hotel... Which I HAD TO WAIT for them to arrange and as after 20 mins they still hadn't got through its no wondet I left! I contacted guest relations when home and they explained what had gone wrong and at EVERY stage from the lack of correct details on the booking to having marked me as a 'no show' at midnight (we were on a late night flight) it was all the hotels error and they're still not taking any accountability!…
Upgraded on arrival to a lovely room, very clean & modern bathroom. Took advantage of the health spa, which was also very clean & relaxing. Breakfast was excellent & we were very well looked after by the lovely Sandra. Would definitely stay here again & would recommend CP Felbridge to my colleagues & friends.
My partner and I were really impressed with the Crowne Plaza at Felbridge. We had booked a spa day and lunch for 2 through virgin and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the start. The spa was in great condition although smaller than you may expect, the treatments were lovely and the staff very nice! The food was also a big surprise as hotel food tends to not be great, but it was amazing! Not sure but the place looks to of had a big refurb in recent times. Can’t recommend enough!
We were 4 women very much looking forward to a rare night away from our families to relax and enjoy each others company. Check in was fine and the rooms as expected. Although we had booked a slot in the spa for 4pm it was very busy, there were no beds or seats available and the much anticipated jacuzzi was out of order (according to other guests using the spa, this is a common occurrence). Our treat included an evening meal in the restaurant. Unfortunately when we checked in only 2 times were available to eat - 6.15 or 8.30. Neither time was ideal so we chose the latter so we could make the most of the supposedly 'quiet' spa. The restaurant was not full and there appeared to be plenty of waiting staff, all of whom were very pleasant, but I still had to ask for our drinks on 2 occasions and we were not served them until 9.30, and not until after our starters had arrived. Now we all know accidents happen and unfortunately while I was eating my starter our waitress knocked a glass of red wine off her tray and all over me, and my entire wardrobe. As you would expect she was extremely apologetic and gave me some napkins to mop up the spill and took my jumper away for cleaning. At this point I returned to our room to change my outfit as 'every' item of my clothing had been doused in red wine. I returned 5 minutes later to a tepid starter and my friends who had finished theirs. No more mention to the incident was made. I approached the restaurant manager who suggested i sent all my clothes off to be dry cleaned and then billed him with the invoice. All clearly at my own inconvenience. The rest of the food was enjoyable although the whole experience put a dampner on our stay. When we went to settle our bill, the restaurant manager did not off us any money off and even included a service charge on our drinks bill. Out of common courtesy I expected to be offered a free drink as the bare minimum but nothing, not even an acknowledgment of the nights mishap was offered. A very disappointing experience for what was a much anticipated night away with friends.…
