Ok, it's not the fanciest hotel we've ever stayed at but we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and modern. Nice tv in the room and the free breakfast was good. The shower had very good water pressure. The location is very convenient. They are dog-friendly which is a big plus. It's very close to lake Ontario and we took a walk down to the shore. They have nice paved paths. We will definitely consider this hotel for future stays.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. The people at the reception were very friendly. The room had 2 queen sized beds that were very clean and comfortable. I am a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper. The linens were white and crisp. The towels were super soft. The breakfast had great coffee, toast, yoghurts, hard boiled eggs, waffles you could make, fresh cream, milk, butter, peanut butter and jam. There was also teas and some pastries. There is also a pool and fitness room. It is also conveniently located right off the Casablanca exit. The price and value was excellent!

Good choice for the price we paid. Great location right off QEW. Our room was very clean. Large TV, fridge, microwave. Beds just ok. Not the best but certainly not the worst hotel bed we’ve slept in. Parking is plentiful and location fantastic with many restaurants very nearby including a Tim’s and Swiss Chalet/Harvey’s right next store as well as a convenience store. Was great for our one night stay while in town for our sons hockey games.

It just wasn't for us, maybe it is for other people, but we found it to be just an okay stay with a medium price tag at just under $150 (with the dog charge and taxes included). Breakfast isn't worth the walk to the front counter and there was minimal mask wearing by the staff in the morning. There's gotta be better options at that price point.

The outdoor appearance of the hotel concerned me as I drove up. It was old and tired. The lobby was worse. My room was worse than the lobby. I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while they cleaned my room at 3pm.
Everything in the room was old and outdated from the Fermica counter tops to the old striped carpet that was very smelly. I turned on the air conditioner and it smelled so stale and musty that I turned it off and was warm all night. The bed was in terrible shape and sloped in the middle, causing me a sore back in the morning. Terrible sleep. The entire experience was totally disappointing. It was one step up from tent camping.

I was promised, in writing, well ahead of time that I would get a ground floor room as I was travelling by motorcycle. When I get there they shove me to the farthest possible room on the top floor. As far from where I park the bike as you could possibly get. Just to spite me for asking. All I can say to others is when you are prompted for special requests when booking, don't bother, they will just lie to you like they did to me. Oh, and there was no offer to change rooms, no discount, no apology. Just a "take it or leave it because were busy" attitude. Room is also very overpriced.

We recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel that left us utterly disappointed and frustrated, largely due to the unprofessional behaviour of the hotel manager. From the moment we checked in, the interactions with this individual painted a dismal picture of customer service.

Upon arrival, we were met with a cold and indifferent attitude from Mary Plott. Instead of the warm and welcoming demeanour one would expect, we got curt responses and dismissive gestures. It was evident that our presence was an inconvenience rather than an opportunity for the hotel to create a positive impression.

Any attempt to seek assistance or ask questions was met with impatience and condescension. When approaching the manager to address an issue, she offered no solutions or apologies. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to rectify the situation further soured my experience.

Sadly their attitude seemed to trickle down to the rest of the staff as well. The atmosphere at the hotel was tense and unwelcoming, mirroring the manager's demeanour. It was disappointing to see such a negative influence impacting the entire guest experience.

A hotel manager should be the embodiment of hospitality, ensuring that guests feel valued and respected throughout their stay. Regrettably, this was not the case during my visit. The rudeness and lack of professionalism displayed by the hotel manager cast a dark cloud over what should have been a pleasant stay.

I sincerely hope that the upper management addresses this issue, as no guest should have to endure such treatment during their travels.

I had spent a night at this hotel an evening ago, as I had appointments at the St. Joseph's Hospital. When we checked in the Woman greeting My-Self and my Mom was Nice, but not super friendly, when we get to our room and sit to relax after a 3 hour drive, I go to plug my phone is by the lamp and beside the bed is a Redbull Box, needless to say I nor my Mom had any Redbull, which I found so gross and makes me wonder just how clean these rooms are, especially during Covid. I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again. I have to say, the lady in the morning when we checked out was super nice and friendly.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. We were attending a conference in Toronto and then visiting Grandchild early the next morning. Choose this location to be closer to family on Saturday.

I had contacted the hotel several times to ensure that we could check in late after conference which wouldn't be until 10 pm. No problem they said, but as it turned out we checked in early before conference and no problem
