This place is cute and clearly family run. It is slightly run down but loved how unique it was. A tad bit cold at night and we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat up. Also the walls are a tad bit thin. But over all, great stay. Would stay again if I was in town.

This motel was a great find. The room was super clean, no dust or hair. The beds were super comfy. The hotel staff went out of their way when my husband forgot his laptop in the room. They had someone they know bring the laptop to Calgary the next day before we caught our flight out. We are very thankful for the kind gesture.

We booked the Blue Mountain as a stay prior to heading to Waterton Lake. The location is perfect for this as it is right off the road towards Waterton and so much cheaper than hotels there. The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. My main complaint was how paper thin the walls are. We could hear conversations in the next room and that was frustrating when we were trying to sleep. Bring ear plugs and you're good!

Both of us, when we opened the door, said "wow" at the same time. We were not expecting this. They must have renovated/redecorated because the pictures don't represent the room we got. There were new huge thick mattresses on the beds along with new bedding and matching curtains. A nice big flat screen tv as well with good internet available. There were still holdovers from an earlier era (lamps, microwave) but we were warm, comfortable and entertained during our one night, ski vacation.
