On our way from Perth to Brisbane we stayed at Fay’s friendly B&B in Eden. We were firstly greeted with tea and cakes. Fay was very knowledgeable and gave us a lots of information about the area. The accommodation was good and the breakfast was superb with the fruit salad to die for. Fay even arranged for other friendly guests to be staying there at the same time. We all, including Fay, had breakfast together. A most enjoyable stay.
Whilist traveling down the East Coast, my partner and I ended up booking a room here for 3 days as the rain washed away our tent. Upon check in Faye was a delight. She was very friendly and outgoing. She proceeded to explain she only accepts cash or BPAY, unfortunately this didn't suit as I had planned to put this cost on my CC. Consequently this prevented us visiting a number of locations that only accepted cash. As we spent ALL day out and about, it ended up being 2 expensive single beds. ($390 in total. Although the confirmation email stated breakfast was included, Faye told us that it was not included). Would I stay here again? Probably not.
We stayed here in late March on our way to Phillips Island. Fay was very welcoming and the facilities, although dated , were very clean and expansive. The view from our balcony was fantastic and the breakfast, first class. Nothing was too much trouble for our Hostess! Highly recomended
We had a quick overnight stay between Melbourne & Jervis Bay. Eden is a fantastic little town. I have seen the comments on the decor etc & yes, it would not be everyone's cup of tea. I am not used to B & B, however, it was comfortable, the experience was very enjoyable, the owner was great & could not do enough for us. A lovely lady.
