The perfect place to celebrate an anniversary, birthday--or just to relax and enjoy. Set in beautiful surroundings with views over the Galilee rolling landscape, Amirey Hagalil is a real gem. From the superb and accommodating service to the outstanding dining experience, this is the place to come for an adults only break. Every little detail is attended to--hot cider for those waiting for a spa treatment ; a 24/7 tea and coffee corner; a beautiful atrium with comfy seating ; fresh bottles of water in the fridge every day etc etc. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience at Amirey Hagalil. We'll be back!
A very welcoming staff from the get-go. Very accommodating (there was cider and hot chocolate). The room was very comfortable (we had the mini-suite), and very quiet. And the highlight was the food - the in-house restaurant was excellent, dinner was delicious and breakfast was very rich and satisfying.
We've been coming to Amirey Hagalil for twenty years. The hotel, not far from Safed, has never disappointed us. The location is fantastic. The views heavenly. Rooms (we now stay in the new wing and love it!) are very comfortable and the food in the restaurant is especially good. the hotel affords a real escape into the beauty of nature with views all the way to the Sea of Galilee. It is a very relaxing and pleasurable experience.Thank you!
A perfect hotel, very suitable for couples who want to come and pamper themselves a little and gather strength. The place is quiet and the service is excellent, there is a wonderful view that is reflected in all the rooms in the hotel, we were in a mini suite which was very large and comfortable, there is also a jacuzzi, we did not use it because there is a spa in the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and varied. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.
We went to Amirey Hagalil to get away from our busy lives for 48 hours and we loved everything about it: The spacious rooms were beautifully designed with comfort in mind, including a nice kitchenette, very comfy beds, a furnished porch with an amazing view, cozy couch, modern, well-equipped bathroom, great lighting. It was perfect! There are not enough words to describe how delicious, fresh and lovely the meals were. Dinner was so amazing that I ordered the same exact dishes the second night and enjoyed them even more. The serving staff in the dining room was super friendly and attentive. Just remember that this hotel is in nature so don't open the porch door at night unless you like to sleep with bugs.
We just returned from four days at the Amirey Hagalil Boutique Hotel. The views from the hotel are stunning - with the Kineret in the background and green all around. Our room was a mini-suite on the ground floor - beautiful, spacious room with a comfortable bed, jacuzzi in the bathroom. Everything you could need except there is no pool on the grounds. Guests can use the pool at nearby Moshav Amirim - ok - but not the same as a pool on the spot. Also, other reviews saying that there is nowhere to walk around the hotel are totally accurate. A huge plus is the chef Itai Leibovitz - his meals were carefully planned and there is no other word for it - totally gourmet. We were rocked off our socks with his food. The hotel is kasher le mehadrin. Another huge plus is that this is a hotel with a spa - and the massage I had was inspiring and calming. Altogether a lovely experience. Definitely recommended.…
As soon as you walk into the hotel Antonio greets you and makes you feel welcome. The quiet rustic atmosphere helps you unwind from the long drive. The views are amazing!! We had a large spacious suite. It had a large living room and bedroom. The bathroom had good water pressure. The room has a coffee corner and kettle and plates, cutlery and a small drive and sink. The restaurant is gourmet and the food is delicious. Although the spa has a small jacuzzi and sauna, they only offers massages.
Despite its address, this hotel is not in Amirim; it is 1.5km (along a busy main road) from the village – a definite drawback for those (like us) without a car. With a car the hotel is well placed for visiting several nearby towns; it could therefore be a good touring centre. The impressive reception area gave a welcoming first impression, as we checked in. Our spacious and well-furnished room, like many in this hotel, was in a separate building. There was a large (shared) terrace by our room, which had a very nice view of hills and, in the distance, Lake Kinneret. There were a few minor problems in the room which Antonio, who spoke much better English than the other staff we met, sorted out. Although the hotel has a garden, there is hardly anywhere to walk in the grounds. Although the hotel is set back, it is on a main road, so that is also not suited to walks. The meals we had in the dining room were good. However, dinner was not served on Saturday evening and no food was available for purchase in the hotel. When Antonio realised that we did not have a car, so could not drive to a nearby town for a meal, he suggested we take some cold items from the breakfast buffet to keep in our fridge to eat later. We therefore had a very nice alfresco supper in our room on Saturday evening.…
Amirei HaGalil is one of the better hotels in Israel and provides excellent quality to price ratio. We were a party of 6 and took 4 rooms. 3 of them were of the “Premium suite on 1st floor with Sea of Galilee view and private porch” type and 1 was the “Junior Suite with Sea of Galilee view and lawn” type (my young daughter prefers a large Jacuzzi). Naturally, the prime feature is the gorgeous view which in my humble opinion is the nicest in Israel. The architecture of the older builder is wonderful, and the lobby is very well decorated and inviting to sit. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, the beds’ mattresses were very comfortable, and the balcony had couches and chaise lounge. The new building where the premium suits are located there is a very spacious public terrace with plenty of couches and tables. We spent time there every night after dinner. The hotel’s restaurant (“Bein Kramim”) is of the highest quality. The dinner menu, which was included in the price we paid, could have easily been served in the best restaurants in Tel Aviv. Breakfast was excellent and with plenty of options. My young daughter is vegan, and staff did their outmost to offer her appropriate dishes. The level of service was excellent starting from the receptionists and all the way to the restaurant’s waitresses. This hotel is very well recommended, and we are surely going to visit again.…
pros: - coffee machine + capsules in the room - fun hot tub at the middle of the living room - very good breakfast - exellent dinner cons: - room needs renovation ASAP - i stayed at a room with lake view. the room faces the east so in the morning you get the sun straight in your face and can't really enjoy the blcony. - very basic TV channels - worn robe - when the guest at the room next to you has a shower, you can hear it at your livimg room
