This is the most beautiful Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. The decor of the lobby & ballrooms is eclectic, bright, vibrant & eye-catching & it was the perfect backdrop for our Red Carpet Grammy themed family reunion. From the moment our family began arriving at the beginning of the weekend, the staff was amazing & extremely helpful. About 76 family members attended the reunion activities. Hotel staff made our family events (an evening banquet & a Sunday breakfast buffet) flow seamlessly. The Executive suite, which we used for our floating arrival reception, was just enough space & also beautiful with modern functional decor.

This review would be incomplete without thanking & recognizing Brandi Cooper & Monica Shreve. These 2 ladies were so easy to work with & helped me to plan & execute my vision for our family reunion. Brandi ensured the ballrooms set up & the equipment we needed was in place & that our catering included everything that we needed. Monica ensured that our block of rooms was intact & that my family was largely placed in rooms near each other & mostly on the same floor.

I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again or host another event there should the opportunity present itself.

Chris Cramarossa is the manager of the Hampton. Great
person who went out of his way to help out. We were there for
3 days and on the first day we asked if there was a shuttle to
the Crabtree mall. Chris said yes over the phone and we
came down to the lobby and a person was waiting for us to
take us to the mall.

We were riding in the shuttle and the person happened to be Chris. He was fantastic giving us insight into the area, the mall, the back way around the 6 lane highway and a host of other good things to know.

He even took us right into the parking garage near the restaurant we wanted to go to and made other suggestions.

At the beginning of the shuttle ride I did not know he was
the manager BUT I asked and usually I will tell someone in
the corporate level that they have a great person. Well
Hilton needs to know that they have a great person in Chris Cramarossa.

In addition the front desk person Ethan and another co worker very customer oriented also.

Room was clean and well maintained. Only one glitch was the
sink faucet ran to slow... Otherwise a 10 all the way.
All the staff was very responsive and attentive. From the breakfast person to the room attendants.

Kudos to the whole team. Thank you.

We traveled down on Thursday for a concert at the PNC arena so this was a convenient location to spend the night. I booked online a couple of weeks prior and put "high floor; extra pillows" in the comments. They accomodated both requests so next time I'm going to include "no rooms near the elevator" since the room right near the elevators and ice machine. It wasn't too loud since we arrived a bit late. I did hear a neighbors TV blaring when we arrived and again around 3am. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was served until 10am (loved that since we didn't arrive until 11pm and knew we'd be sleeping late). Standard fare -- waffles (incl mini waffles), fruits, cereals, muffins, bagels, english muffins, sliced sausage, mini omelets or just an egg patty for the engl muffins, etc. Receipt was emailed to me on the morning of our departure so checkout was quick and easy. Will remember this hotel when we're next in the area.

A last minute change of travel plans had me in need of a hotel room for one night in Raleigh. Despite it being December 25th, rooms were plentiful at all hotels in the area and prices were normal. I went with Hampton primarily for Hilton HHonors points, and I've stayed at Hampton Inn's before and they've always been fine for short stays.

I don't know when this hotel was built, but it felt very much on the new side of things. The lobby was inviting, as was my room. Everything looked modern, clean, and in good condition. The one very glaring exception was one of the two elevators, which had a big "OUT OF ORDER" sign on it, yet it was still operating, albeit not completely reliably.

I checked in using the Hilton app and asked for a virtual key, which allows use of a smartphone as the room key. I've used this several times at other Hilton properties and it usually works, but not this time. I went back to the front desk for a regular key and the only employee on duty was under a blanket in front of the television in the lobby area. It was about 7pm so definitely not on the late side of the eveving. I actually didn't know she was an employee as nothing about her attire or demeanor indicated she worked for the hotel. She did get up and issue my key, and was friendly enough, but hotel staff should do better than this, and identify themselves wearing something other than a hoodie.

With key in hand, I got into my room. A king size bed on the 6th floor, it was quiet with the exception of the wall unit heat/AC unit. The room was comfortably warm but the wall unit was on the louder side. The room was a decent size for one night, including the bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are on the wall of the shower (I forget the brand, but I liked it) and one bar of soap is wrapped at the sink.

I slept reasonably well, but with near single digit temps outside, I did pull the extra comforter out of the closet for the bed. After a reasonable amount of sleep, I was up early enough to shower and get breakfast. Hampton provides a complimentary hot breakfast at their hotels, and although the presentation is nothing fancy, i.e. paper plates and plastic cutlery, the food was reasonably good and the selection included eggs, sausage, cereals, breads, fruits, coffee, juice, etc. My eggs and sausage were warm, and the coffee hot and satisfying.

I used the Hilton app to check out and that worked fine. I grabbed another cup of coffee from the lobby before heading out (hot and good) and received an electronic copy of my bill via email about an hour after leaving.

Overall not a bad stay. Points off for the broken elevator, noisy heat/AC unit, and lackluster front desk staff. I would stay here again, however. Hampton Inn's are overall very reliable and offer a largely consistent product and service.

I had to book 2 rooms last minute for a business meeting I had in town. Checking in, there were 3 people at the front desk. NOT ONE greeted us as we walked in. The 2 young ladies were giggling and playing on a cell phone and the young man didn’t even look up from his computer. I asked for physical keys to be made for our rooms (I had a digital key but needed physical keys for my extra guest) and the 2 young ladies acted like it was an inconvenience to even do it. They asked my name, whispered something to each other, and then began giggling again. Another guest came in behind us and the staffs reception to them was warm and inviting. Stark contrast to how they received us. We turned in for the night with no issues. But at 8:30 in the morning, even with the Do Not Disturb on the door, housekeeping just burst into my room without knocking. I asked her why she would just walk in without announcing herself and with the DND on the door, she said “I was told the room was free”. Very uncomfortable to say the least. Forget being a Diamond Member, as a regular paying customer, you would think the hospitality industry would be more hospitable. And definitely not just barge into people’s rooms unannounced. I’ve stayed here in the past and have had some issues but this was the last straw. I will NEVER stay here again!

Clean/quiet/no issues/ comfortable/ The only thing that I did not like about it was that there is a limit on the AC unit of how cold you can make it. I got a little warm at night. the shuttle was not running to take us to and from the concert. Breakfast was good hotel was clean.

Pros: Price, location

Cons: Shower/Bathroom, Attention to detail

Couples trip. Clean room w/ one exception - a messy ottoman

Overall, we had a great stay. However, the staff seemed to not care about the ottoman. I explained the condition of the ottoman (missing buttons/pizza stains???) to the staff ( most were kind with exception of one employee) and was neither issued an apology nor offered a replacement by any staff. Also, the rumors of peeling wallpaper are true, but there was minimal peeling in my bathroom. You should also know that you have to keep the bathroom door open to open and close the shower door. Finally, be aware that you may only raise your heat to 75° f/23° c because the hotel has a cap on the heat!

All the room air filters were extremely dirty! So was behind any furniture - tons of fuzzy dirt and lint and who knows what. Beds are also needing new mattresses and chair was stained.
Scrambled eggs for breakfast were over salted. This hotel has gone downhill since I last stayed there in Jan 2020.

I loved my stay at this hotel. I originally booked a room without a refrigerator but a quick call to the hotel requesting a refrigerator resulted in them having a room ready for me with a refrigerator in it. Thank you!
The bed was extremely comfortable. Always plenty of towels were left and the room and hallways were very clean.
I only had breakfast 1 day due to my hectic schedule but it was well stocked and offered a wide variety.
The lobby and open areas are genuinely beautiful. I was sad to leave this modern looking hotel. Everybody encountered at the hotel was extremely friendly.
The only downsides were a desk chair that was lowered all the way down and would not raise back up resulting in me having to do work while sitting on a pillow or 2. The TV also did not have every channel that it listed - most channels had a spanish-speaking informercial playing. I called the front desk about this but the person I spoke with said they were playing fine for her so she wouldn't do anything. ??? Meh, I just turned the TV off and went to bed - no biggie.

Other reviewers who say it can be a little difficult to find are correct but just keep your eyes open and you'll see it. There are several hotels on that road and they all have the same issue.

This is a nice and clean hotel with just a few minor issues. First, be sure to check your directions. The hotel is on top of a hill and if you don't turn on the street where it is located, you end up on I-440. The signage is extremely confusing (not the fault of the hotel!). I had some issues with the heat/air and had to have a maintenance person come by to reset the thermostat. My room was on the second floor and just outside the window was a huge light which was extremely bright. Had to move curtains to help darken the room so I could sleep. The mattress is extremely comfortable and the breakfast is decent. I would stay here again, as long as I can find it!
