In nearly all places I stay, I receive a follow up request for a survey to let them know about my stay. We did not get one for this stay, so I’m adding to this site. We paid too much for this stay for what we got in return. The room is clean and comfortable, but we had to ask for room to be made for new towels and such. I’m mot sure if their policy is they don’t make rooms unless asked, but they did not do it on their own. The restaurant does not stay open all day; breakfast and dinner only. Breakfast choices are limited. No continental offered. If you want breakfast, you either have to order or go out somewhere. Bar tender was really nice, but clearly being overwhelmed and this was when we were the only people at the bar. He had to work a reception in one of the meeting rooms at the same time. The pantry is almost completely empty. There are more empty shelves than full ones. I had to go to the gas station next door to get chips and snacks. You don’t want to send your wife or daughter there after dark. The sound of traffic is constant throughout the day as the hotel is right next to a very busy interchange. For the money spent here, one would expect more value. Although the room is clean and parking free (good things), the cost is too high for what the hotel delivers. Simple improvements such as stocking the guest pantry and having a little fancier menu (instead of a simple printed page) would help boost the value somewhat.…
Great location. Near the interstate. Adjacent from the Crabtree Mall. Great restaurants nearby. COVID-19 safety precautions in place. If you can, use the Hilton app. The app will allow you to check in online and use the mobile key. You really don’t have to stop by the front desk for anything....except Cookies! ;)
Super location and excellent staff. Food at this facility was well above other properties and rivaled 5 star resorts. Parking was great, hotel was clean and well maintained. Would DEFINITELY stay here again and would recommend to friends.
We've stayed here several times now, even though there are better choices for a king suite in the area. The simple reason is that it's the easiest of the many hotels near Crabtree Mall to get in and out of when we visit friends and relatives out
Friendly staff! Patricia , Gabby & Pearl We had a pleasant stay The room was clean Beds were comfortable Pillows were soft and comfortable A/c was awesome Bathrooms were clean Gym was clean. Ample parking space. Lots of stores around. Easy access to freeway
Overall good experience! Our room was great, nice & clean. The restaurant located inside the hotel is super good, we ate there twice during our stay. Located right next to the highway and Crabtree valley mall. It was nice having the mall so close but very busy intersection and a bit difficult trying to get out of the parking lot at times. Also only one elevator in the hotel so be prepared to wait a bit. We tried to check in about an hour before check in along with about 4 other people and no rooms were ready yet.
We stay here several times a year when visiting our son. Hotel staff are always friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I actually stayed in this building in the 1970s on a youth group trip. I think it was a different brand then.
My first night in the hotel, I had to change rooms because there was dried urine in my bed that was not clean from the stay before. Two days later I had to call maintenance to have them fill a hole in the ceiling that was allowing wasp to enter as there was a giant wasp nest outside the window. I had to kill a bunch of bugs and two wasps. Finally, I was woken up at 4 o’clock in the morning because there was a rat in my room. I have audio video of the rat moving behind the dresser, and pictures of rat manure and chewed up food under the fridge and behind the dresser. I moved out the room and booked a hotel with a different company. When i retuned to speak to the manager, after calling Hilton Honors Customer Service, she had an attitude with me stating her staff didn’t find anything and said “since you’ve already called customer service, there isn’t anything else to discuss.” I have never had this experience in any hotel before.…
Parking lot was well lit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out process. Even had the option of contactless check in and out. Will definitely stay here again
Very nice looking hotel with lots of potential but fell short on our visit. I’m a diamond member who stays at Hilton hotels across the country, the front desk staff was rude and not welcoming at all. Once we got to our room it smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. I immediately went downstairs and asked for a new room, the front desk staff was rude again and asked if they could spray the room to make it smell better. I said no and asked for a new room, after a few minutes she gave us a new room but wasn’t happy about it. The new room was fine except for when I kneeled on the ground and realized someone before us must’ve spilled something and ended up with a stain on my pants. The food and waitstaff at the restaurant were great for breakfast but they only had one chef so it took an hour for us to get our food, wish we would’ve been told earlier it was going to take a while so we could’ve gone somewhere else.…
