We arrived super late at 2:00 am. From the whole beginning, being welcomed at the door to check into the room I had to deal with friendly, caring, and understanding team members who exhibited sense of urgency and sympathy.

I appreciated the digital check in and got to check in an hour early. I immediately went to pool and hot tub and hot tube had '0' bubbles when switched on. The pool area was clean and towels well stocked. The windows were open so it was nice. There is a restaurant right next door and the restaurant side looked as though the homeless frequent it. Smh. Trash everywhere. Attended an event in main hall and food wasnt well seasoned. Smh used to be alot better. Wait staff was attentive. Digital key worked not every time (through Hilton app) so didnt use all the time. Room was clean and bed seemed a bit old but blakets very comfortable. Breakfast, didnt know you could order omelette until I finished breakfast, the wait staff not really all that friendly. Check in/out always seamless and with Hilton app is smooth. We are Hilton amex member now so we are going to rack some Honors Points so we will see....

Positive • wifi was working well • room was clean, bed was comfy • breakfast buffet was good, although at steep 18 USD • just a 15 minute drive to downtown Raleigh Negative • the staff at the reception always made a listless impression, as if you were disturbing them • Diamond lounge available (only Monday to Friday) – and just beverages (cans) and chips -no personnel • Snacks at the reception are ridiculously priced

There were cockroaches in my room. It was horrifying. The lady at the front desk did offer me a different room but I chose to go to another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was not clean.

Beautiful Hilton located just off the highway in Raleigh North Carolina Rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel staff was kind to all. Ample parking for all and a short ride to downtown Raleigh where there is plenty to do to keep you busy. Hotel has a Starbucks which has breakfast sandwiches and bagels which are very good. Glad we stayed at this establishment

I can’t believe Hilton puts its name on this place. Absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel. I’m a Hilton rewards member and this may be my last visit to a Hilton. I think a Motel 6 would have been better. Rude check in lady. No acknowledgement that I’m a Hilton rewards member. They change a $20 “incidentals” fee when you check in and a $5 fee just to park in their parking lot. Yes it’s just a crappy parking lot, not a garage. Worst Hilton I’ve ever been to.

Over the past 25 years, I have witnessed the slow but steady decline of this hotel. During this most recent 3-day stay, I witnessed poor plumbing (slow drain), inoperable equipment (elevators and toaster), inadequate climate control (room and meetings), overpriced food service, indifferent staff, etc. I'll never voluntarily stay at this hotel.

Hotel is EXTREMELY filthy. Lobby, elevators, even grounds were dirty and trash scattered everywhere. Reserved the Presidential Suite. Dated and filthy. Check in staff was seemed bothered and annoyed. We departed early.

My experience started when I took the wrong shuttle from the airport, which is easy to do when it just says "Hilton" on the back. I had a reservation at the Hilton by the airport and not the one at Raleigh North Hills. Once I realized my mistake on the way I thought no big deal of it and I'll just take the next shuttle back to the airport. After we arrived at Hilton Raleigh North Hills I asked the driver if we can go back to the airport (it takes 15 minutes and they run every 30 minutes). His attitude and demeanor changed instantly. He was really mad and said "I better get a good tip". I thought he was kidding at first but once we started back to the airport he said "that will be $40 to get you back". I told him that I refuse to pay him any money and to turn around so we can take an Uber. Back at the lobby I talked to the front desk and explained that we were just hit up for money by the driver. The apologized, said "we don't treat our guests that way", and offered another driver. They were unable to switch our reservation either which we would have been happy with. Already tired after a cancelled flight my wife and I just said we'll take an Uber to the other Hilton. On the way out I called the driver out, who was still fuming, and said that what he did was wrong. He came from behind the desk very aggressively in front of everyone in the lobby and was inches away from my face yelling "I DIDN'T DO YOU ANY TYPE OF WAY" still trying to justify extorting guests for money. After this situation we called the Hilton Raleigh North Hills again and the front desk attendants were so shaken up by the experience that they urged us to contact the General Manager Jordan. Jordan was apologetic and offered points on my account which we agreed to. However, only 10,000 points came in, which real monetary value is $50...only $10 more than the driver tried to stick us up for. This whole situation left me wondering what ever happened to Hilton. It felt like a Motel 6 having some thug threaten you for money and being compensated Hilton funny money points which will get you a room absolutely nowhere in America. Everything would have been fine if they just moved our reservation or drove us back without incident. Honestly I don't recommend this location and for me personally I don't think I'm booking with Hilton anywhere again.
