We booked a room when we came to Raleigh for Farm Aid. Parking lot looked sketchy, Handicap parking was one spot in the front with no ramp and a 6 inch curb. Do not believe their website. They barely have a lobby. First room, no TV and no phone to call the lobby to tell them the TV didn't work. Second room, AC not working, mold on the ceiling and a stain on the chair that looked like people had an orgy, Breakfast was disgusting: hard boiled eggs soaking in ice water and frozen bagels. When someone made a waffle and someone else was using the toaster, the circuit blew. After several attempts to contact the manager, Joe Browne, he offered to comp us a night at the nicer Four Pointes, it was already too late for us to move. We were told he would refund our money and he did not. The had the nerve to tell us that we would have really loved the Four Points, as everything advertised on the website, could be found at that hotel.…
Nice large room. Quiet. Overnight clerk, Tee, was very professional and very helpful. The afternoon clerk at check in was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Very welcoming. Made us want to stay and return after all this Covid stuff is over. The General Manager, Payush Patel, was wonderful to talk with in the morning. Explaining about the area and his recent experiences. Down the street is a Waffle House with a Mexican restaurant across the street. Be careful with Google directions. They point to across the street!
Worst hotel I stayed at ever. Rooms are disgusting. They have dirt, mold and roaches everywhere. Took an hour to check in. TV did not work and there wasn’t even a phone in the room. This is the worst hotel in Raleigh!
well maintained hotel. Rooms are nice and modern. Appears that hotel has been recently renovated and under new management. Location is very convenient to all restaurants and highway. Room rate was very reasonable. i will be staying back at clarion on my next trip to raleigh
When we checked in the associate never got out of his chair, and a smile was clearly out of the question. Our room wasn't ready so they gave us a different room. (Good) Then they rebooked the same room to another family in just 45 min. and the family came to the room. (Bad) At no time did anyone contact us to apologize. When we where on our way out we stopped at the front desk to get our key code changed, the associate acted as if it was our fault and seamed upset at our request. The hotel looks as if it's being remodeled/ updated. But if the customer service is always this bad, you can't paint it enough. We checked out early (5am) just to get out.
Girlfriend period came on & the unprofessional and childish manager got upset at us and attempted to change the conversation and start to complain about how her employee didn’t charge us a deposit fee (NOT MY FAULT). Then went on to try to make me pay for the comforter because of the blood. As if she meant to bleed on the comforter. Had no replacements and did nothing to help absolutely worse customer service. 0/10. TV and outlets didn’t even work. Don’t come unless you on a small budget. Elevator make you scared to use. Small purple and red stains on the covers already and they had the nerve to try to charge me for the whole cover and the managers defense was if the comforter didn't get blood on it I wouldn’t have to pay for it like my girl just wanted to start bleeding and bled on the comforter on purpose. Complete trash. And this is a woman telling my lady this. As unprofessional as it could get.…
My Family and I drove from Miami back to North Carolina because my flight leaves out of Raleigh. This placed overbooked the hotel rooms. They never gave us any information that they overbooked and they would not keep our reservation. We get there the man was rude just waving the tiny piece of paper that says no reservation guaranteed. Worst experience I’ve ever received. They just don’t care about their guest. So we took an extra 2 hours to drive home to make this a 16 hour drive. If it could have 0 stars I would give it.
I stayed in this hotel with my kids. This is the most filthiest hotel you can stay at. The mold, roaches, and mice! The manager and staff are so unprofessional and rude. The house keepers steal. I’ve included photos for proof.
It looked like they tried to make renovations recently but had inexperienced contractors, our room was filthy, mold above the shower, the entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. The walls sounded paper thin and you can hear everything, you can see underneath the door into the hallway, many rooms had towels wedged in the threshold to block lighting/view. It is exactly the place you would expect to see in a murder movie.
If I could could 1/2 a star a would and the is only because the guy checking me in was nice. This hotel smelled like smoke as soon as you enter. The elevator felt and looked like it was going to break down, the hall carpet was disgusting. And my room was the worst. It smelled like weed, the wall rack was half off, the shower head was falling off the wall, and I was scared to lay in the bed. I immediately checked out and asked for a refund.
