Pretty much brand new hotel in a central location. There is a large shopping center a couple hundred yards from the entrance with plenty of food options. The exterior looks pleasing and modern. We arrived early and check-in was a breeze. The lobby has a modern flair with some seating, small pantry and Starbucks. Once to the room on the 5th floor, it was right behind the elevator bank. I was worried about noise, but it was well insulated and could not hear anything. The room was clean, minimalist and had some nice large windows which looked out into the trees. The only problem with the room were the walls had markings from what appeared to be luggage. The bathroom was equally nice, with a few signs of neglect. The drywall and wallpaper above the door was crumbling, but can expect that from a new location as it’ll settle. For a Westin, I think they would address that sooner than later.
We did use room service on the first night and I was disappointed with the food. For the price we paid for the food, the quantity and quality was subpar. More quantity than quality. A salad was ordered with chicken and there were only 3 pieces of chicken. That was disappointing.
For being a elite member with the company, I feel they could have done a bit better, but all in all, it’s not a bad property, I would venture to say a top 5 hotel in Raleigh. They are scheduled to have a Brazilian steakhouse opening in November, which I will give a try next time I am in town.

The Westin Hotel Raleigh in Briar Creek is a standout choice for travelers, offering a fresh and modern experience. Having stayed here numerous times over the last year and a half, I can confidently say it consistently exceeds expectations.

This brand-new hotel is clean, crisp, and perfectly embodies the latest Westin standards. The spacious rooms feature light wood floors, generous work areas, and premium bathrooms that rival even some Ritz-Carlton properties. The bedding is exceptional, with luxurious duvets, blankets, and high-thread-count sheets that make for a heavenly sleep.

The bathrooms are notably large, with excellent lighting and spacious walk-in showers stocked with quality products. The hotel also boasts a full-service Starbucks in the lobby, not a contracted one, ensuring a top-notch coffee experience. The Italian-themed restaurant offers excellent wines and delicious food, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

A highlight of the hotel is its impressive rooftop, which features a large fitness center with all the cardio and weight training equipment you could need. The rooftop also includes a spacious patio and pool with pleasant nature views.

Overall, this hotel is a fantastic option in the area, and I look forward to staying here whenever my travel plans bring me to this area in Raleigh. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to the Research Triangle Park area in NC countless times, but this was my first time staying at the Westin, Raleigh-Durham Airport Hotel. A huge plus is its proximity to the RDU airport,- just a <10 minute ride in the Hotel Shuttle and very convenient. The Hotel is new and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was quiet, which is the most important thing for me when I travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I want to make special mention of Helena at the front desk who was especially helpful not only in explaining the layout of the facilities, but also assisted me with some special needs I had with arranging a Fed Express delivery. She could not have been nicer in doing this and making sure that I received the shipment. Also, I’ve often had the feeling that the large chain Hotels charge for everything they possibly can and at prices that are annoyingly high, but at the RD Airport Hotel, amenities and snacks were priced very reasonably and were delicious. The restaurant and bar were also convenient and well run, and the rooftop with a lounge and exercise facility provided the perfect start or finish to my work days. I look forward to returning next time I’m in the area.

The staff at the Westin goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are taking care of. I always stay at the Westin even if I am visiting family and friends on the other side of Wake County because the Westin Team is the best. If you have any challenges they take of it immediately.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at The Westin Raleigh, we were greeted by a pleasant and thorough employee. Helena took the time to give us a preview of the hotel and explain the resort’s commitment to wellness. When we left the concierge desk, we had no questions unanswered. Although there are so many things to mention right down to the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the resort, the employees that were all-stars, work in the lounge and Il Falo Restaurant located in the Resort. While we waited in the lounge, our bartender Montre and our server Greg, greeted us and left us feeling like family. Once we were seated, it was such a pleasure to be greeted by Chef Depina and several members of her staff, Michael her Sous Chef and Anthony her Food and Beverage Director. It was readily apparent each of them have a commitment to excellence, and are proud of not only the quality of the scrumptious food, but the seamless operation of the restaurant. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking excellence!

The hotel is on land that is still being developed, but it wasn't noisy particularly and the mall next door is so useful for lunch/drinks/shopping. It is a drive away from town, but it's an easy drive with several big roads around the area that are easy to access.

As it's new, it is spotless and the rooms feel unused which is really nice. My room was big, clean, the shower was good and the bed comfortable. For a quite expensive hotel I did think little things like toiletries/slippers/mini bar/coffee area were slightly lacking, but otherwise it was a good room, though i couldn't turn off the air con (personal choice, i don't like air con at all).

I couldn't find any info about room service, but i think they do offer it and I didn't use the restaurant due to my plans so I can't comment on the food, but it looked very pretty from the outside.

The staff were really nice, very smiley and welcoming and the maintenance person was helpful and quick.

The car park is big, easy to use and outside which feels safe.

The pool is actually quite small, the exercise room has enough things for a short stay and a lovely view over fields.

I had a nice stay while in town and would stay again.

The room felt like an oven. Perhaps it is another "LEED" certified hotel. Great. Do I care? No. I stayed at the hotel and spent my money to stay there. I practice good "climate" hygiene on my own terms at my own home. Sure, when I am traveling, I have no control over a hotel's climate resiliency or climate scores or whatever it should be called, but I am paying for the privilege, and I want to be comfortable during my stay, be it business or pleasure, regardless. The room was uncomfortably warm and could not be cooled down for sleeping; the overnight room temperature must have been close to 80⁰F. The windows are sealed shut, floor-to-ceiling; great for the view, but terrible for ventilation. The windows themselves collected condensation inside the room, and water dribbled all over the floor; pathetic for new-build construction. For real? The location is convenient for shopping, close to the airport, and close to friends living nearby, but those are the best that I can say about this "upscale" facility.

Great customer service! It was my wife and I wedding anniversary and I had edible arrangements flowers, fruit platter, and custom card delivered. Bryonna made sure she placed the gifts in the room, and my wife was very excited. The room is very clean, bathroom amazing! Starbucks in the lobby! Pool on the 10th floor! They also have their own restaurants down stairs in the lobby! Let’s not talk about the area, it’s perfect. You’re only a couple of feet from restaurants, bars, movies, late night eats such as crumble cookies, top brand stores, etc! Great environment, entertainment, and people!

Bryonna is the best hotel desk clerk my wife and I have ever experienced in our entire lives. When I walked in, Bryonna greeted me as family and told me everything there is to know about the hotel (which was very informative by the way). When I told her my fiancé at the time would be on the way in a few hours also, she congratulated me and we had a great talk and that’s when she found out our stay at the Westin was for our wedding weekend. On my way upstairs to my room, reflecting back on the conversation I had with Bryonna, I felt feelings of true family and welcoming. I put my bags in the room and left for a few hours. When I came back, I went upstairs to find 2 hand written letters. One from Bryonna and the rest of the staff and one from the Il Faló restaurant downstairs along with complementary chocolates and wine sitting right next to it. About 5 minutes later, Bryonna called to make sure everything made it upstairs safely. I confirmed and thanked her for being so kind to send all of this to our room. She replied back that it was on her heart to make my fiancé’s and I wedding weekend special. About an hour later, my fiancé made it to the hotel and I had her meet Bryonna and they had an amazing talk. Right after, me and my fiancé headed upstairs and she was so surprised to see the handwritten cards, wine, and chocolate! The next day after our wedding, we spoke to Bryonna for a bit and had another great conversation. She also handed us a handwritten card from her congratulating us on our wedding day and gifted us a candle! Later on that evening, my wife and I decided we wanted seafood, so we asked Bryonna to point us in the right direction and she did just that. My wife and I left the restaurant truly satisfied. Truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay anywhere else with any other staff. Jahlil was right by Bryonna’s side helping with an amazing attitude so I absolutely have to mention him by name also. I don’t remember the other staff members names but they were awesome too! They were so great to talk to and so pleasant to be around and helpful. The whole team at the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport is AMAZING. Bryonna though, wow, just an absolutely thoughtful, caring, hospitable, and great soul. Bryonna is the reason my wife and I will continue to give the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport and every other Westin our business. Truly a life changing experience. Thank you Bryonna, Jahlil, and the rest of the amazing staff at the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport!

The room was clean , the room service was fast, there were wash clothes and lastly the check in process was so smooth and rapid. There were people in the lobby who greeted me and helped bring my bags up which is in common in the Raleigh Durham area. I was also handed a welcome gift bag as soon as I was handed my room keys. It’s really a one stop shop there with the resturaunt and Starbucks all inside the hotel. The only recommendation I have is a fridge or drink machine some where that we can buy juice ,water or soda when everything is closed.
