I found nothing not-to-like about my accommodations here! The facility appeared very new, and everything I saw, especially my room, was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The spacious 2-queensize-bed space was among the very nicest of all the hotels I have ever visited in my 70+ years. I can hardly find adequate words to express my delight at the welcoming comfort the room afforded me. I was also quite pleased with the ADA-friendly adaptations. They were excellent. The bath seat was particularly solid, and everything I needed was easily within reach. I will look forward to another excuse to take advantage of TownePlace Suites.

This place is awesome. It is very well laid out, efficient like ikea Very clean and it checks all the boxes. Like most places, it’s all about the people. Everyone is very nice and prideful. The star of the show is Harvey. He Immediately knew our name and is so easy to talk to about anything. Thank you so much from the Sowers family Harvey

This is a newish looking hotel very close to NC State campus, which is also near the hockey arena. The room was very nice and had everything I needed. The cable TV had a very wide selection of channels - more than in similar properties. The bed was comfortable & the temperature was easy to regulate, for a heat pump, which I typically struggle with. But there was that one problem as noted above. It occurred after midnight, I did not handle it, my companion did. The front desk attendant went to room & did his best. We were prepared to change rooms, but he got it under control. There was at least an inch of water on the bathroom floor, but he soaked it up with towels. Using the hotels so-so plunger & flushing several times, he got it cleared enough so we did not have to move. I give the front desk attendant a lot of credit. Otherwise, things were decent enough - good WiFi, a decent sized refrigerator, adequate parking, a pool. Breakfast was decent, though I would have appreciated having scrambled eggs, which is a common staple of these facilities, as well as some cut fruit, such as cantaloupe or strawberries. But on balance it was more than adequate & I would stay here again if in the area.

I'm actually shocked seeing a negative review about this hotel. Not my experience AT ALL. In fact, I was so impressed with the staff and property that I reached out to Marriott directly after my stay. My parents and I stayed here Christmas weekend; I work for Marriott, so both rooms I booked on the associate rate. When I have stayed at other properties, they generally do not go out of their way for you when staying on such a discounted rate. This was not the case. My parents felt like the red carpet was rolled out for them, and I truly appreciate that. Carter at the front desk was FANTASTIC, she ensured that my parents had an accessible room. The manager on duty the next morning, I believe it was Tyrell, was also wonderful. They had a sign up that due to the holiday, the breakfast would be "limited", but I would love to know what the normal breakfast is if that was considered limited because they had EVERYTHING! Finally, the rooms were super nice and spacious, spotlessly clean, and we felt right at home. Thanks for having us, we actually can't wait for Easter so we can come back (Raleigh is the halfway point where my parents and I meet in the middle for holidays and it is a quick 20 minute drive to Fuquay-Varina, where my siblings are). This will be our go-to hotel from now on when we get together as a family!

The location of this hotel is in an amazing location near NC State. There are several amenities near the hotel as well. The reason for the negative review is due to the attitudes of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon checking into the hotel, the receptionist was very rude to me and condesending. After getting the room key, i went to the room, only to see an apology letter from a previous guest. I checked the bed and saw hairs all over the bed. This room clearly was not cleaned properly. I went downstairs and told the receptionist about this. He comped me a snack or drink from the available ones that he had but told me that he couldnt comp me for the wine that was in the cooler as it cost too much. He gave me a second key to another room. This room had dirty dishes so i went back downstairs and told him about this. After this he gave us a third room and i went into that one. Initially it looked clean. After going into the bathroom, i saw blonde hair on the counter and the shower had hair in it and also had soap scum stains. The next day i tried using the marriott app to order new towels and other tolietries that were needed for my stay. After three hours, the manager called me and let me know that the system was down and that i would have to come downstairs to get my own towels. This was an inconvience and in the time he spent talking to me to bring it up he could have brought it up to the room hisself. We were on the second floor. After going downstairs we encountered a new employee who was not aware of what was going on. He helped us get the items that we wanted. All of the items except for foam pillows. He let us know that he would check the dryer for the pillows and if that didnt work he would go into unoccupied rooms to find the pillows for us. He promised he would bring them up to our room. After we went back upstairs we never heard from him again. The room had a terrible mildew smell that made me have a sore throat the whole time i was there. Room service is only once a week here. Upon checking out, the same front desk receptionist was there and not very friendly at all. I had seen this individial greeting and being very receptive and happy to other guests, so its unfortunate that he didn't do that with me. He greeted caucaisan guests, and had an attitude towards me. He was a person of color, as was I, so it was sad to see him act this way. He also was not wearing a mask, which i observed all other staff members doing. Trying to complain to the hotel has done nothing. All they are willing to do is give a few points towards another stay. The general managers have been condesending and rude. If you are unsatisfied with your stay you will have to jump through hoops in order for nothing to happen. From an operational perspective, its clear that the management is poor, and it starts from the general management down. The rude and condesending nature through which i was spoken to was uncalled for. He rudely joked about me going to the better business bereau to solve this issue and going to corporate. Its not worth the stay, there are loud dogs that bark all the time in the hotel. The staff arent managed correctly and they do not care. I would never come back to this hotel and i would strongly advise against staying here unless you have to. Marriott hotels are known for quality, this is an In-town suites with a marriott sticker.

New hotel. Suite style. Very convenient to Centennial Campus / NCSU. The hotel was very clean and the kitchenette was well appointed. One thing that we weren’t thrilled about was that Raleigh is currently under a mask mandate but the front desk staff is not wearing masks nor enforcing it in their public areas. Otherwise our stay was good.
