I stay here when having business at the NCJC building directly across the street. Very modern and clean hotel. Very good breakfast, Online check in available, can go directly to your room. bypassing the line at the desk,
Nice size rooms. Quick service - easy and fast check in. The breakfast was great. The coffee was available and fresh all day. Friendly staff. Nice lobby area for sitting. Room in desk was nice for catching up on work.
The hotel itself is nice and the staff is even nicer. I very much enjoyed the breakfast. There was one minor thing that I found discouraging. When getting to our room and taking out the trundle bed I did notice a few wrappers unfolding the trundle which made me question. How well they actually clean. However, with something as small as small as a few wrappers I will say I would come back to this hotel and enjoy Raleigh again.
While this was not our first ever stay at this hotel, it is the first time we have been back in a couple of years. We were in Raleigh visiting family, and we also brought our dog, Mocha, with us. She is VERY spoiled and accustomed to the pampered life, so she got right in at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly hostess, who also said a quick hello to our pup. She clearly was very busy, but still took the time to be attentive to us. Admittedly, I am one of those people who checks the bed sheets for anything dirty or crawling before doing anything! I came up short this time, as you could tell from the fresh and calming scent that the sheets were crisp and clean. The rest of the room was clean and tidy, with the room itself being quite spacious. The bed also got the Mocha seal of approval! Another major factor in hotel quality: breakfast. My favorite part of the day, and so vital to the way a hotel is run. The breakfast space was well presented, with more than enough for all of the guests (again, Mocha seal of approval). We are planning to return sometime after Christmas to the Raleigh area, and Hyatt Place is at the top of our list!…
The Table, couch and rug in the room had stains on them and the shower had hair in the shower. The Lobby was dirty for a 3 star hotel and was not interested in cleaning up the lobby and were on their phones. Very unprofessional.
The bed sheets were COVERED in hair. The staff told me I needed to come get new sheets and fix the bed myself. The bathroom door knob was broke on the inside of door so you had to use the towel hook to pull the door shut. The faucet on the sink didn’t come out far enough so forget washing your face because you would get water everywhere when you tried to put your hand under the faucet. The room stunk and carpet was dirty. The only perk was the location. I will NEVER stay here again.
Very friendly front desk, accommodating to our needs and requests. Was surprised the Hyatt was dog friendly and affordable for a one night stay while moving across the country. Breakfast was a nice bonus. However b/c of staffing, they didn’t have the bar/restaurant open which we were looking for after a long drive and late evening. But they suggested good delivery.
I have heard good things about this hotel and it was more than I expected. I will be staying again at one of there hotels. I was very impressed with the dishes that was use at breakfast, delicious meal
Clean & Quiet hotel. Perfect location right off Interstate 40. Has a nice central location for shopping/eating near-by. The beds slept great & the rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was simple and nice.
The breakfast was better than most "included free breakfast" at other competitors, the use of paper plates and plastic utensils was disappointing and greatly lowered the quality of the experience. I will return, but hope they upgrade the tableware.
