Good, basic room. Nothing fancy. There were a few small damaged spots on the wall but they weren’t really obvious. There was a $100 damage deposit required at check in which was not disclosed but overall not bad. A little overpriced but that was more a reflection of the market.
All amenities were as advertised. Even though it was a Friday night, it was very quiet. We had a clean & comfortable suite, the internet was fast & the hot breakfast was tasty. I would stay here again.
We usually stay at Comfort In or Comfort suites when traveling. Usually all are as advertised, this one was not as advertised. The room was clean but not at all what was expected. Furniture was old and dated. Sofa needed replaced years ago. Some of the trim was missing, The room was not exceptional as advertised, it was really not even average.
My husband and I stayed for one night while visiting family in the area. Staff was super friendly & let us check in early. Our room was a bit dated but clean. The bed was very comfortable & we had no issues with noise or doors slamming. Breakfast was good & we departed feeling rested & refreshed. Good price too & they honored my request for a top floor, very quiet room.
Regular size room (not a suit !!!) with an extra 2-person seat (you can't sleep on that) sofa and sofa table near. Comfortable bed. Large newly renovated bathroom. 16 wall sockets (great!), a lot of lighting options. Great hot breakfast. Minuses: 1) Not working heater in Room 203 and cockroach welcoming you from the surface of room door. Check in clerk was unavailable more than 5 minutes, no bells to call for him. 2) Wardrobe is mocking, you can't use it because of size and location. Go sleep in your outerwear because of no space in such "suit" and just one desk chair. 3) Noisy road near, heavy traffic of garbage trucks going from earliest morning to and back garbage factory. 4) Hotel send me invitation to review my stay and never posted my review on website. Conclusion is simple: "excellent rating" is artificial ,they don't show negative reviews on hotel's web site.…
I travel often for work, and this is the third time I’ve stayed at this location in the past 6 weeks. Normally, a very pleasant experience. I only needed to spend 1 night because I was traveling on the following day. The next morning, I found a baby roach just outside the shower. At the time, not a life ruining event. I killed it and continued my morning routine. Apparently, the key to attracting roaches is applying makeup. They started coming from multiple areas. I killed a few of them, but got grossed out, packed up, and left the room. I explained to the onsite manager that I found multiple roaches in my bathroom and he could not have cared less. After I explained again that this was a problem, he offered me points for a future hotel stay. Why would I stay there again?? He then gave me a $20 credit. I told him that would not cover stopping to get bug spray for the exterior of my bags and strong alcohol to spray on my clothes. I’m a Regional Property Manager and can’t risk bring roaches or their eggs into an apartment or office. After I deloused, I contacted customer service and requested a refund. The customer service rep offered me additional “points”, but said he could not issue me a refund because I used the amenities; I told him if I knew the amenities included cockroaches I would have stayed elsewhere.…
we stayed at this Comfort Suites during our recent vacation in Raleigh. It is very convenient and close to the major attractions that we wanted to see BUT it is not the best hotel or Comfort Suites that we visited. The rooms are smaller than other Comfort Suites. The staff were VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. The parking lot is not the best and aggravating to get around because of the steep driveway and crazy lay out. Housekeepers were nice and helpful, Breakfast was the same every morning but convenient with kids like us. Yes, we would probably stay here again because of the closeness to the museums and all. Mostly quiet but there were a few noisy moments. Also, this note is for families with kids --> there is NO SWIMMING POOL so be aware of that.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Walnut Creek Amphitheater. The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast a typical hotel breakfast. Only good things to say about the hotel. We were at most 10 minutes from the venue, and very easy to get in and out. It’s on our list for next time we attend a concert in Raleigh.
everyone at the property is very helpful and kind. Yes, it is an older comfort Suites property. But it is well maintained and comfortable. It's also very convenient to many areas of Raleigh and freeways.
Stayed for a week. Saturday place was packed and no parking and neighbors were loud. All other nights were quiet and no issue with parking. Parking lot is challenging due to steep entrance into building. Staff friendly and accommodating. It’s a remodeled older hotel and I had terrible congestion and cold symptoms in the room. When I was out during day they went away. Prior to visit had no issue and upon leaving within about 12 hours I had no issue so I believe something in the room bothered me. Was worse with air conditioning on. TV options were basic. Shower had an annoying 4” step into. Room and hotel overall was clean.
