Detailed Reviews
I was in town for my nephew's graduation and I always seek out a Marriott property when i'm traveling. This property is located in the Raleigh/Durham area, its within minutes of the airport and they offer shuttle service for late night arrivals. When i arrived Ben and Tyree were both working the front desk, Tyree moves through the check in process within a matter of what seems like seconds, and he already had my room keys prepared. Ben was a excellent resource for finding restaurants close to the property where we could enjoy dinner, and the shuttle driver was able to drop us off and pick us up from the restaurant. The room was nice and clean, and breakfast was very good too. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone going to the Raleigh area!

The front desk staff (Michelle and Kelli) were always pleasant and helpful. Luisa was very friendly and kept the breakfast area well mainainted with fresh and tasty selections. This hotel is conveniently located near RDU, the expansive Brier Creek Commons shopping cntr, and other popular retailers. I'm definitely returning for a future stay.

We stayed at the hotel from 7 October to 17 October. Every staff of the hotel discharged their duty efficiently and went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. But special mention needs to be made about Chef Paula.
Her kitchen management was excellent and she took personal interest to see that whatever we needed was provided for. Exemplary devotion towards her work. We wish her all the best for the future.

No room service or cleaning. Really getting tired of hotels that do not clean or service your room during your stay. Covid is over and it's time to return to a normal level of service. Marriott hotels seem to be the worst. Some hotels clean and service your room, others don't. Room prices have gone up and service down. No way. If I have pay full price, then I expect full service. OR reduce your room rates to reflect the lower level of service. Marriott needs to change this policy and require their hotels to provide full service. Or it's time to move to another brand.

We have stayed at this hotel periodically over a number of years. The room seemed cleaner and fresher than in the past and was very comfortable. Free breakfast is adequate including both hot and cold selections. I was a little disappointed when I asked if the kitchen had any gluten free items (usually a bagel), which they have had on past visits and were very helpful to check their stock, the service staff on this visit seemed unaware of the very idea of "gluten free" and didn't offer to look. Desk personnel were helpful, and the free shuttle to/from RDU a definite plus. I was surprised that even though I didn't specifically request a ride to a car rental facility to pick up a car, the shuttle driver took me there when I mentioned that I wasn't actually going to the airport but was going to get a rental. Pricing is always quite competitive with the airport area hotels.

We stayed in a double bed room. Everything was good with the room. The beds were great. The breakfast lady Oleatha “O” kept the breakfast buffet fully stocked and asked us if we needed anything. After coming in from a morning hot walk, she turned on the juice/water dispenser so we could get a cup of cold water, even though it was after the breakfast buffet was closed. We appreciate her doing that for us. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay with no complaints. My only suggestions would be to have a cold water dispenser by the coffee station and offer an afternoon snack of cookies, also by the coffee station.

Ms. Linda Scott was fabulous constantly checking up on us and making sure the breakfast bar was filled. Great service!
Likewise when we checked in, the front desk associate was so friendly and accommodating helping find adjoining rooms and politely answered all our questions.

A mediocre stay except for Kenny who was the bright star! She was friendly and listened to my desire to support local business and quickly suggested the perfect breakfast spot. So often I ask for a recommendation and I am met with “I didn’t live around here “ I thoroughly enjoyed the cafe she sent me to! Now the negative … check in at midnight painfully slow . Had to ask for upgrade and water - titanium member. I didn’t feel recognized at all. The worst was when I went to lay down I noticed the pillows inside the pillowcases yellowed and stained. Thank god I had two beds so I could find two decent pillows that didn’t make me u comfortable. Housekeeping shouldn’t have touched these nevermind put a pillowcase on them. Please throw stained and dirty pillows away. Guests just don’t want to put their head on these.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/Brier Creek has to be the worst hotel experience I've ever had. For $180/night, this hotel has not provided any room cleaning despite my requests for three straight days. No clean towels, no made beds, no vacuumed carpets, no refreshed bathroom...no attention whatsoever. Furthermore, the hotel staff seemed indifferent to my requests to have the room cleaned - indifference to the point of disrespect. The person who is responsible for cleaning rooms actually stated that he could not clean the room because he had already called his Uber to go home. This is totally unacceptable!!! Do not stay here - find an alternative.

We recently spent 5 nights at this hotel while visiting friends and family in the area. Overall we were very happy with the hotel.
It's clean, quiet, and has a good, hot breakfast. They offer housekeeping every 4 days, but since we were staying 5 days, we didn't see the point of asking for it the day before we would be checking out. But they happily offered anything we needed, so there really was no problem. The folks at the front desk were delightful, always super friendly.
Our heat/A/C control in the room was kind of quirky. The temperature gauge seemed to be off, since it would show 73 degrees in the room (ordinarily that would be too warm for us) when it actually had to be closer to 68. When it showed 68 it was freezing. No biggie, but I think the gauge needs to be checked. Also the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak.
Restaurants are about 2 miles away but the hotel offers a shuttle (nice service). We had a car so didn't need the shuttle but it's a great service they offer.
