We had a beautiful light and airy recently renovated room. Everything is white and grey with touches of gold accent. Nice and calming room. Of course it’s spacious as most Embassy rooms are. They seem to be in the midst of renovating all the rooms. But do not worry, the work is not disruptive at all. If I didn’t see workers loading old furniture in the garage, I would never have known. Breakfast was good and up to the Embassy brand standards. No cutbacks here being falsely attributed to COVID as I’ve seen at other hotels. My one complaint would be that housekeeping did not occur during our two night stay. When you have a pile of garbage in the can and towels that need changing, it takes away from the experience. Making this a 4 star review rather than 5 stars.
No issues and the pool was great for little kids. Clean hotel and very cordial staff. The breakfast was great as well, full eggs, bacon, pancakes and juice. The parking garage was clean and felt safe.
As always every time I visit the embassy suites near rdu airport my experience is always pleasant. I was greeted by friendly front desk staff. Room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a managers reception daily with free drinks and food!
Great hotel. Very new, very clean, big rooms and excellent free breakfast. Room opens to living room and kitchenette with microwave and sink, really large bathroom that can be entered from bedroom or living area. One housekeeping issue, but Joan and Ashlee at front desk made sure rest of stay no further issues. Breakfast was awesome, beds were comfy, AC was excellent and no airport noise! I highly recommend.
I thought we would be very happy for our one night stay after a very long travel day. Pick up from the airport and check in were absolutely steller. The pick up driver and desk person on duty went above and beyond. So one may wonder why the 1 Star review. Well the end of a stay is as important or more important than the beginning, because it's the lasting impression. Staff totally unaware of their own Posted Check Out Times. When I asked for an extra hour or 2 for late check out, I was given the posted time on the door of my room and said they could give me an hour. Then the staff member proceeded to argue with me about the check out time. I do have a photo that clearly states the check out time, so giving me until noon and saying you are helping me by giving me the hour is a blatant lie. I really dislike liars. Then houskeeping opens the door prior to my noon check out time. When I presented the pic to show the check out time, the employee shrugged her shoulders. So rude. Lasting impressions will prevent me from ever staying at this particular hotel, which saddens me because the beginning was wonderful. Management needs to know what their employees do to guests and how they are treated. Just because they already have our money from a nights stay should never mean disrespect and lies to guests. So here we sit in the hotel lobby waiting for our ride with time to post this review…
Always a pleasure to stay at this location. Conveniently located near everything you need. Clean room. Not sure what size the tv was but I felt like I was watching a movie theater screen. And the queen bed suites are even nicer. I highly recommend.
Room were limited with availability, however select rooms were available to privileged guests. I wasn't one of them. The bartender was rude and dismissive of guests waiting to order. He didn't acknowledge guests waiting to place orders. The in room service of all meals comes in a paper box on tissue paper...short ribs of beef and asparagus...horrible
Great location close to shopping and food. Dirty rooms. Bring your own Lysol and wipes. Wear shoes at all times even in shower and wipe down fixtures and tv remote. They may sanitize with a machine but the housekeeping is definitely lacking. Only thing that was clean visibly was the bed.
I was pleasantly pleased on how my personal situation was handled. Timing is very important in these situations. Most times the only one that thinks your issue is important is you, but in this case Embassy Suites airport showed me they really gave a damn… Thanks Antoinnette and Embassy!!!
Checked in for a night and front desk staff was a bit brusk. However, hotel is beautiful and room was very nice. Staff at the bar downstairs for the complimentary happy hour was wonderful as was the breakfast staff at the huge breakfast offering. All in all it was a comfortable stay and we really enjoyed it.
