I booked 2 suites for my family. Had to wait for rooms to be ready after check in time. Pleasant enough at the front desk. Rooms were fairly clean but could use some improvement. Lobby always crowded. Breakfast was Good. I was not expecting much but the quiche were outsiding. We would stay again if the price were right.
My stay at this hotel was excellent. It is spotlessly clean and the decor is updated. The breakfast was minimal, but everything was separately wrapped for safety. I read a review about the noise from the highway, but check your Google Maps before booking or ask for a room on the front side. I asked for the front side and there was no issue with noise at all. Rarely do I have a special request when I am staying at a hotel. But this time was different. I did need to stay later than checkout. My timing was uncertain because I was waiting to hear back from an appointment. The front desk put me totally at ease by saying don’t worry about it. Rarely do you get that kind of empathy and kindness. This hotel deserves the highest rating possible. It wasn’t just the willingness to help me. It was the kindness and happiness that he showed when talking with me.…
Short overnight (luckily). This started off badly when I drove by the hotel as the property looked like a construction site. The front doors/lobby was closed and the side entrance looked less than welcoming. I took the liberty of pointing out the sad state of matters during check-in only to be told that the renovation works were highlighted on the property’s website (do not typically go there; instead I book on the Marriott app where there was no mention of the works). The room looks very tired with my least favorite bathroom setup (sink placed outside in carpeted area, hate it hate it hate it!). The bathroom is very small with a barely working bathtub shower. I would have renovated the rooms rather than the lobby (then again, I do not know what the lobby looked like before …). I was looking forward to the hot breakfast. Wow, how underwhelming. Seriously, how can you call a sausage muffin to be heated in the microwave as “hot breakfast”? Super disappointed; this was by far the worst Marriott experience during our 4 weeks’ US trip. We liked the city but would absolutely go for another property (a lot of choice nearby) next time.…
Absolutely worst excuse for a Marriott hotel. I went online 3 months prior to book a 1 bedroom suite with a private wall. I selected that. I was traveling with two teenage girls so you can understand how important that privacy barrier was. I show up and they give me a regular room with NO PRIVACY. Went to the front desk. Manager said “too bad” only three of our rooms actually have privacy walls and they are booked. Refused to do anything at first then offered me a $25 discount which was an insult especially to a long-time Marriott member. Will be calling his supervisors on Monday. I’ll take it all the way to the CEO if I have to
Where to begin…upon arrival, we realized the hotel was under renovation when you had to use a door on the side of the hotel. After walking down a dimly lit hallway there was a very nice young woman sitting at a folding table with a rack of chips beside her…that was clue number one. We asked how much longer for renovations and she informed us the rooms were done and they were finishing up the lobby and entrance area. Upon arriving in our room, we realized that they hadn’t done much to improve the room. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, the tub had a plastic mat inside of it to cover the chips and rust stains, the ac worked but it was incredibly humid in the room. The bathroom floor had long strands of black hair on the floor and the beds….horrible. The mattresses are so old that you can feel the springs and indentations of other guests. Breakfast was okay…almost all carbs in packages and the coffee was not even drinkable. We have stayed at many Fairfield’s but never one that was so poorly run.…
Great place, friendly staff, very clean place, very quiet Atmosphere to have relaxing sleep with nice comfy beds, One of the few places that you can stay in peace and good safe Atmosphere for kids I’m glad I stayed here
Overall the experience was satisfactory but it does not seem like the property is up to Marriott standards. 1. The walls were too thin as we could hear the room next to us with music and intimacy 2. There was cigarette smoke coming into the bathroom vent which they came up and sprayed and we didn’t smell again 3. While taking a shower the hot water ran out and the pressure went to zero almost like something else turned on and took all the water. It came back in about 15 seconds but was in the middle of me soaping up. As I indicated it was satisfactory just not up to what I consider to be Marriott standards
Always my favorite hotel to stay in crabtree, nice and clean and the staff (especially Mr. Michael) are always so helpful and accommodating. Top tier service every time!! I definitely recommend staying here, anytime you are visiting the crabtree area
Michael went above and beyond to help my family and I. My brother and him had great conversations and he was able to help us when we needed a shower chair. We also had an issue with water pressure and they helped place us in another room from Akim. Appreciate the service here!
Everything went well and the bedroom was excellent. I hope to stay here again in the near future. The location was excellent & near my journey tomorrow morning…………………………………………………..All in all a solid value for the money.
