Hotel's Favourite
Good location when staying PNC arena events although it’s a bit confusing getting back to the motel after the game. (BTW, basic parking about a half mile away at PNC was $30!)
We don’t stay often at chain motels, but I’d say this was on the nicer end of the Hampton Inns.
All the staff were friendly, and one of the kitchen staff went out of their way for me, which is much appreciated.
Also a plus was that the back side of the motel is boarded by a small wooded area and creek, pleasant to look at and no noise from outside.
Good sized bathroom but I did find two hairs in the tub! Everything else was clean (and the tub was clean), so it’s enough to drop a point off the rating but is probably an unusual circumstance.
Room was done in yellows and browns, ugly to me, but that’s in part because those colors are from the 70s.
The place was packed but nevertheless quiet.
Other amenities/notes:
1. Appreciated ESPN at breakfast, not news.
2. They have a guest laundry, decent sized lobby/sitting area, small hallway “business center” if you need something printed out. Also 24 hour tea and coffee (and real Twinings tea-thank you!), cookies in the afternoon along with dog biscuits, so this must be pet friendly.
3. King room has a couch, desk, real closet, some roomy drawers for clothes, comfortable office chair, well designed lighting, microwave and fridge. Large full length mirror doubles as closet door.
Overall a good stay.

We chose this hotel due to the proximity to PNC arena as we were visiting for a hockey game. We arrived at the hotel at around 830pm and were greeted right away by front desk team. During our check process we had an issue with our rate and the front desk team rectified the problem immediately. Once we arrived to our room we found a spacious very clean room. We were happy to find the dishes were left in the dishwasher so we knew they were infact clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and allowed us to have a good night sleep.
When we woke in the morning we found out breakfast went until 10am half expecting it to be closed since we prefer to sleep in. When we arrived downstairs we were impressed with the variety of options. The young lady that was maintaining the breakfast area was also friendly and always smiling. We did notice they were out of hard boiled eggs and we asked her if they had any left (expecting her to say no since it was so close to closing time for breakfast). She went to the back and brought more out - great service! The quality of the food was very good and it was warm (surprising since it is a buffet setup).
We did call down and ask for a late checkout and we’re offered an additional hour at no charge! Overall this hotel was fantastic and we will definitely visit again when we are in the area amfoe hockey!

We found the hotel to be very neat and clean, from the pool area, to the public areas, to the room. The complementary breakfast was very good. Omelets, sausage, waffles, pancakes, cereal, fruit, baked goods, etc.
It was fairly quiet. No noise could be heard from hallways or other guest rooms, save when someone was walking directly past our door, which is to be expected. We did hear an occasional faint train whistle, but nothing that would disturb sleep.
Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was excellent. One tip- leave the bathroom door open while you shower to avoid fogging up the mirror and overheating, as there is no fan in the bathroom.
We brought our small dog with us and there is a very nice area to walk and play out front, with benches and trash cans for waste disposal. We saw other dogs but never once heard any barking.
Overall, great stay. Highly recommend.

We travelled through during covid 19 and felt as safe as one can. Hampton is providing wipes if you feel it necessary to clean high touch surfaces. Our room was very clean. We also had a two room suite which was spacious. It had a mini kitchen and a fridge, much like what one would expect in a Homewood. The outside sitting area was inviting with a fireplace and nice sitting areas. NOTE: the pool and fitness room was closed per the state, so call ahead if this important to you. The pool was in a lovely setting, so it could be nice. Waffles also closed at this time (not sure why Hamptons can’t make the waffle for you?). Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

We highly recommend this hotel!!
Since Covid-19 hit at the beginning of 2020, we are just now starting to travel and stay in hotels. Some of the places we’ve stayed didn’t observe social distancing guidelines or wearing of mask. My husband and I were so very impressed with the absolute cleanliness and the extra steps taken to keep their guests safe. Very friendly and professional staff. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and well stocked with personal supplies as well as a microwave, fridge and storage. Complimentary breakfast was served with every precaution and delicious.

Stayed at this location for weekend trip to see a NHL hockey game. Right off I40. Shell gas station in the same parking lot was very convenient. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options. It was served in a very congested area so it was crowded when it was busy. We had a handicapped accessible room, which was not really accessible. Our commode wheelchair was to narrow to fit over the toilet, a first in our travels. The roll-in shower(good) allowed a huge amount of water to run onto the floor of the bathroom which required several towels to mop up the water. The hand held shower head was not long enough. The room had very little room to manuver a motorized wheelchair. A hoyer lift would not fit under the bed so I had to manually pick up my adut son to get him in and out of the bed. I had been informed before we made the reservation that it would fit. The mattresss was too soft and lumpy as were the very small pillows. The walls are thin and we could hear the very loud, rude guests next to us until 3am. Parking is good, plenty of handicapped spaces, espically at the end of the building. The snack shop was well stocked with treats and microwavable food. The microwave is very small but was ok. Vey large mini fridge. Except for the loud neighbors, the facility is quiet.

Beautiful hotel - extremely clean, lovely fireplace and outdoor patio area. Staff eliminates smiles through their masks everyday.
My husband works nights. - staff was so considerate to make sure he wasn’t disturbed while sleeping during the day.
We brought our fur babies - not only are their dog treats at the front desk, but an outdoor area for walking including a poop bag dispenser and trash can.

Where do I even begin? First of all, the staff here blow most other Hilton properties out of the water. Malcolm, Tywanna and Mark are the most accommodating people you will ever have the pleasure of working with.
The location is perfect and there are several well lit entrances for solo females coming in late at night. I felt extremely safe.
The king suite is stuff dreams are made of. Spacious, comfortable and plenty of room for relaxing.
I will 100% be staying here again when in the area. This IS NOT your “typical Hampton Inn”. This can go toe to toe with any Hilton boutique level hotel. 5 STARS from me.

Hotel and room very clean-this is the most important thing during COVID-19. We arrived on a late flight, and the front door was locked. The front desk person answered the call box with a gruff tone, and was not welcoming. I did all the Hilton app steps for a digital key (to avoid front desk check-in), but the digital key never processed. Hilton should ensure digital key is working at all locations for social distancing purposes. The second night there was a group a floor above us playing loud music early into the next morning. I had to call the front desk several times. Front desk identified the group making the noise. The guests should have been moved to another room after the first warning. Another morning we were evacuated on a 6:30AM fire alarm. After fire department did their job we returned to the room, and the alarm went off again 20 minutes later.

Hi there! We have an outdoor saltwater pool on site actually!
Unfortunately I don't know the answer as we rented a car when we landed and drove to the hotel. I would suggest calling the hotel directly with your question.
