Kevin G was extremely helpful, he provided us with great service and continued ensure we were extremely comfortable. The hotel room was extremely clean. Great walk around area near the hotel and a Target. Fun shopping center. Breakfast was filling and the private eating area was clean. Will stay again.

Just wanted to pass along the amazing weekend my fiancée and I are enjoying at the Raleigh Renaissance North Hills Hotel thanks to one of your fantastic employees, Kevin G . For context, we have four kids from middle school to high school to college and our incredibly busy lives rarely afford us the opportunity for a weekend getaway. As we checked in last night (we drove down from Richmond, Virginia) I mentioned to Kevin that this was my first Marriott Stay since I was awarded lifetime Plantium Elite status last week. Upon hearing this news he excused himself to consult with his co-worker. He returned to inform us that due to my loyalty he was upgrading us to one of hotel’s spectacular balcony suites (room 716) and providing breakfast both days. I was genuinely floored. My father was a Marriott man back in the 1970s (He was vice president at one of America’s biggest coal companies) and I remember him telling me when I was a kid he had more Marriott travel points than anyone in America (no clue if this was a humble brag or the actual truth) and that it was his favorite Hotel brand. I’ve been very loyal my entire adult life and this is just one more example of why. Marriott has always been exceedingly generous with upgrades, gone out of their way to enhance my stay and their employees are quite literally second to none. Thank you Kevin G. Marriott is lucky to have you making their brand better every day. PS. I’d be remiss not to mention Kevin’s supervisor Drew Wells, who apparently authorized our upgrade. I didn’t meet you but I appreciate you Drew. Cheers. We’ll be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would recommend to get a mid section room on a higher floor. The room was most comfortable. Easy access to shops and restaurants. There is a target underneath the hotel. Self parking is very convenient and easy to get to the lobby and complimentary.

Was upgraded to a specialty room overlooking the front part of the hotel. Was very beautiful and spacious. This all happened during a convention when they had limited availability. It also came with complimentary water and house breakfast. They also had a nearby Tesla charging station onsite

I was excited to stay a weekend at this luxurious hotel and my expectations were not only met but exceeded. From the pleasant greeting by Kaleb and Kirk, the valets on the front, to the quick check-in and welcome I got from Corey at the front desk, it was top notch service. This is a great location, right in the midst of the action of North Hills. The room was very modern with great lighting to work on the obnoxious business report that was due the next morning. I really enjoyed my stay and imagine you will too.

The location of this hotel around shops and restaurants was why I selected it for a short stay. I knew I would be without a car so I wanted to be somewhere I could easily feed and entertain myself off hours. There is a target, movie theater, taco bar and a few nice chain stores in the open air mall around the hotel. The lobby is new and in very good condition. The staff is friendly upon check in and out. The room itself was a bit dated. It appears they may have refurbished the common areas but not the rooms. The room had carpet, dinged up walls and an older, loud air con unit. As is expected with mid tier hotels, the lighting in the bathroom is poor making makeup up application difficult. There was not a magnifying mirror. Linens were clean but worn. Pillows could definitely use a refresh. Overall perfectly serviceable, adequate rooms, just nothing especially luxurious about it. The one real bad experience was in the restaurant for breakfast. We were brought spoiled milk several times. This made me question their food safety and storage techniques so I would definitely suggest eating elsewhere. Aside from the experience at the restaurant, our stay was pleasant.

There were a lot of shops, restaurants, movie theater & Target close to this hotel. We hung the "Don't disturb" sign at the door but two staff ignoring the sign knocked the door twice, which made us uncomfortable and forced us to think that we had to leave early than we had planned.
