Sent My technician out on a business trip and he got to the hotel and the woman at the front desk was very rude and would not let my guy check in. The whole purpose of a Credit Card authorization is so he don't have any trouble checking in when he goes there. I called this morning and wanted to talk to the manager but manager was not there so i spoke with a guy and he even confirmed i sent the cc authorization form over and still argued with me about it. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN

Family member chose this hotel based solely on distance to their house. (Will never allow anyone to pick my hotel again!). Lobby feels like being booked into county jail. I’m sure the majority of customers are folks who can barely afford a place to stay, so staff is very cautious and treats everyone like they are going to rip them off. Fun. Hotel is old and sad. Hallway carpeting covered in brown stains. Ugh. Room smelled like it was last inhabited by a smoker who cooked fish in the microwave. Up early to leave today (yay!) as we were awakened at 4:30 am by the clunky clank of the dumpster under our window being emptied. Never again.

For years I have traveled for work. Corporate arranges the room and when I show up I provide my ID and card. For a 6 visit (1night each) over 3 weeks to Raleigh this hotel was selected. The first time I showed up but realized I left my purse at home and the hotel clerk required a plastic card. He said he would not let me check in and he would refund the prepaid reservation. The 2nd of 6 was today. I appeared and presented my ID and plastic and he would not let me check in. This time he says the card a guest uses to book the room with must be the card that is presented. So all you business owners, managers, government, etc. This hotel will not let you send your employees here. I know, so weird. He actually thinks headquarters should make several thousand copies of the business account card and give one to each employee. The only way around it is to have your employees make their own reservations and submit for reimbursement. But that does cause a hardship for them. So it’s best just not to even consider this hotel for your business needs. So after this second attempt, another hotel that is business friendly and allows corporate to send employees has been selected. We won’t ever consider this place again for employees to stay.

I was supposed to stay in the room on December 30, 2021.Now this was a surprise trip so I just found the cheapest hotel I can get in Raleigh at the time. I did not read any of the fine print or anything. So I will say that was my fault. I get there and Dennis John is the night clerk. I only had enough for the room I didn’t have enough for the $50 deposit. So I had to ask my family for the extra money. And they gave it to me. Then Dennis asked me “Why would you come somewhere broke”. I ignored this comment because I knew at that time I didn’t really have a lot of funds so I go outside and I get my thing including my dog. When I was going in the hotel to ask the clerk if dogs were allowed. Dennis decides to refund me my money. I told him I can still say, my friends can come and pick up my dog. He said that he has been through this before and he had been here for 13 years and that he didn’t care. He said i was not staying there. After this man saw me scrounge up all my money to get in this hotel. He refund me, knowing the refund will take five days to get in my account, and left me basically out on the street when I told him I would remove my dog. Then he started laughing and called the cops on me because I was upset. Personally I believe Dennis got a lot of enjoyment out of knowingly putting me out on the street. But it’s OK. I’m just gonna write this online review and I’m gonna leave it here because Dennis has been working for that hotel for 13 years. They know exactly who he is and he’s probably done something like this before. When I walked in he had an attitude. He doesn’t not know anything about customer service and that shows you that the hotel really doesn’t care about their customers. It’s really sad.I’m honestly blessed because I had family who looked out for me and took care of me for that night. But I can only imagine if this was someone with absolutely nothing. I think that the power he had got to his head. As minimum as it is. So I’m just gonna let y’all know watch out for Dennis. He don’t like his job and he don’t like you either.I will say the manager there cared about my complaints. I didn’t get his name but he was really nice even though I was kind of mad talking to him. But he did a really good job.

I arrived after midnight, the front door was locked and no one was at the desk. When I call it just keeps ringing, I cannot believe this is really happening. Meanwhile, I am out money, have a early morning start to work, and I am completely screwed.

Stayed two nights on points. At check-out , we were told no charges due to pints. No print-out was required. 1.5 days later; charges were added to credit card. Motel bed was OK, but had trouble with door lock and keeping shower water from running out on floor. Motel dated. Hallway dirty with peoples trash from runs left out there.

Stayed here few times in the past and was satisfied but this will likely be my last stay. Hotel had a strange smell on lobby. Had to have a room change because room had a smell as well and was not satisfactory. New room was slightly better (no smell) but see pictures. I would've made a bigger complaint but was only in town for the night and needed the room just to sleep.

I chose to stay here (knowing it was not the highest quality hotel) because of the location. The room was clean, neat and looked to be new or newly renovated. I like the laminate floors... it keeps the musty carpet smell away that I absolutely hate when staying in hotels. I checked in a little after 7 pm needing to be up quite early, decided to shower in the evening to save time in the morning..... and the water was COLD! Called the front desk, they apologized and said they had been working on it and to give it about a half an hour. Well, an hour and a half later.... tried again.... STILL ice cold. Called the front desk.... they are working on it again. It will be a while.... in the meantime, no shower, told I need to talk to manager in the morning. I also had to turn the heat off in the middle of the night because the heater was making a really loud knocking sound. When I told the manager in the morning, his response was just to say sorry about that, we will send someone up to look at it.

Location very good Parking lot littered which I find disturbingly common in the region .Decent price..nice guy at desk..clean room..noisy heat/cool unit..non working hair dryer.Bed comfortable..shower(no tub) adequate..no towel rack at sink...Breakfast good..variety and well attended to HOWEVER the young couple loitering ..she even had head on table sleeping didn't add to ambience.Mentioned to day desk staff...ignored..garbage cans overflowing .Mentioned..ignored.Many cigarette butts in parking lot..no place to dispose so just add to litter ..Give it a 3...a little TLC wouldn't hurt
