La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Crabtree has garnered mixed feedback, with numerous guests praising its location and the staff's friendliness. However, concerns about the hotel's cleanliness are common, with reports of rooms lacking basic amenities and exhibiting unpleasant odors and uncleanliness. While the service has been criticized for being sometimes unresponsive and inconsistent, especially regarding key card and billing issues, there are instances where travelers found their accommodations tidy. Nonetheless, the overall value proposition of the hotel has been brought into question by many visitors.

This hotel is operating at bare minimum standards. The staff does the best they can with the tools they have: broken elevators, slow (freezing) computer systems, obvious lack of staff. We waited for an elevator that didn't come. No "hey, this doesn't work" sign. The room itself was satisfactory and the beds are comfortable. This hotel needs an invested owner/manager who takes a look around and says "hmmm.....everyday details like outside litter, hall vacuuming, stairwell litter, dog poop in the parking lot.....that's not being done." You can do better, La Quinta management! Shoutout to Dasia and Aretha at the front desk who were great :)

The bathroom was not cleaned hair in the tub and roaches in there also.
There was an mildew smell of the room and spots on carpet most definitely will not recommend this location. Overall my daughter and my grandkids all got sick from the hotel by a coutinsley sneezing where they had to go get benadryl. Not sure what caused that. We had reserved 3 rooms

I only stayed for a two night, but I didn’t even any issues with my stay. Room was cleaned pretty well, beds were made up nice and I slept like a baby after a long day at work. The location is great for it offers a vast selection of food and great walking trail if you’re looking for a little workout.

This hotel needs a desperate do over and it appears they have begun as there was a man up a large crane near the entrance painting the exterior of the building. All the rugs are a mess. It is dog friendly yet there is no place for the dogs to go do their business. I was told to just walk around and kindly pick up after your dog where ever they go. No grass around, just pavement. I did not feel safe in the area. There was a tv but no signal as it wasn’t programmed to the box. When trying to call the front desk I only got a fast busy signal. I googled the hotel phone number and called on my cell phone and the desk clerk said I can try to send up maintenance and if he can’t fix it, change your room. He came and attempted to see what the problem was, went to another room to check, came back and said they all appeared not programmed to the tv’s boxes! Needless to say it was a long night! The bed was ok, the bathroom clean and we had a roof over our heads. As we went up the elevator another couple was there and said the smell of weed nearly knocked them over and they were considering not staying. They had been there once before a while ago and that now it was markedly in bad shape. We should have looked at the reviews that said Don’t stop here!!

First, let me say my expert experience what is a Hotel brand in the past it’s been a great experience. But this particular hotel location was HORRIBLE. 1. Lobby smelled , 2. Only one working elevator that was on the opposite side of our room was working for entire time.
3. The hallway smell like weed. 4. The room is a decent size, however the carpet and the heating and air unit was hanging off of the wall. 5. I get it I mean some people wanna take housekeeping jobs, but trying to translate that I need towels in the housekeeping had to hear me speak into the cell phone to translate English to Spanish. Please make sure to staff cam at least understand my English when it comes to towels, washcloths anything related to the room when it comes to housekeeping 5. The side entry doors were broken so you didn’t need your key to access the side door as they were just open so that’s a major safety hazard. Please get that fixed 6. I asked for a room refresh they said yes, but that never happened so save your money there tons of other great hotels in Crabtree area, but avoid this one at all costs.

It was unfortunately not a good stay. The property
Inside was not kept at all and pretty dirty. Elevator was broken and looked scary to get on to take to our room. The 4tg floor button was completely nonexistent and we were scared to ride it and took the stairs.. the stair well and entire 4th smelled of urine (I believe we saw that on another post after we booked and that person was not lying as all).

I felt like we were staying in a haunted house, there were lots of transient or maybe they were tenants living there but not the safest place to be after dark. I was worried about my car being broke into because of the people hanging out in the back parking lot.

And to top off all of that, we booked and prepaid with booking.com and the lady at the front desk still charged my card for the full amount of the room and did not say anything, when I saw 2 payments come off my card I went downstairs to the front desk and asked her what happened and she was like oh yeah, I charged the card and submitted a refund it will take up to 10 days for you to see the credit (what?????) and when was she going to mention that? Not sure, and had the nerve to give the rudest attitude for something that she did.

Not happy at all with the stay- sorry and I will be posting this in a review on the website. Very sad to trick people into what they think may be a nice place. It could honestly be a Motel 6, which is something I was trying to avoid on my mother daughter surprise weekend.

Just a cross from the service desk you will be greeted by a large carpet stain (see the picture). A few feet later, when you get to the elevator, you will see how dirty the walls and the elevator are (see the picture). The elevator itself is filthy, be careful, don’t cut your fingers touching the sharp panels inside the elevator (see the pictures).

When you get to the room, you will be shocked to see the rust on the windowsill, the cracked lamp shade, the mildew in and in front of the tub and toilet. You need to bring your own towels, the ones they have hair on them. You cannot charge your phone or laptop, there are no receptacles beside the bed (see the pictures).

I asked for my money back several times, but I was ignored.

We will not be staying at another La Quinta after this experience. The cost of this hotel warrants a maximum cost of $45 a night and we paid over $260 for 2 nights. Only stayed the second night as there were no openings elsewhere. Our bags had to be placed in garbage bags on the way home and unpacked outside so we didn’t bring bugs to our home

They sent me into a room someone was already in (this already happened to her once) room was nasty, smelled bad. Stains everywhere. Cleaning lady came in around 8am because room was marked as empty. Glad it wasn’t someone trying to check in instead. Front desk staff were unfriendly and didn’t really seem to care about safety and the fact that they kept putting people into others rooms. They more so seemed bothered that we had someone in our room and instead wanted to keep sitting in her chair and finish her little snacky snack. This place is no better than a motel 8. Will not ever stay again, and wouldn’t have stayed that night if it wouldn’t have been too late to get another room. Maybe some actual management would do this place good.

I have stayed at various La Quinta inns before, and this one is very disappointing. First, there is only 1 elevator that was working. The carpets in the hallway are extremely dirty. There was hair in the bathtub. The toilet was not clean properly. I always carry my own cleaning supplies when I stay in hotels, because of covid I started doing this. I took pictures because the chair in our room is so badly stained it should be thrown away, I showed the pictures to the front desk clerk, she seemed like she really wasn't interested, she mentioned that she will let maintenance know, this is very disconcerting that these room are not being cleaned properly. When I was speaking with the clerk, I noticed a plaque on the wall from Trip Advisor 2018 hotel for excellence. Maybe in 2018, they were excellent, but 2023, not so much.

From what I understand you can take the park and ride and a shuttle from the mall to a area that has a shuttle or walk to a location very close that has a bus shuttle to the air port.
