There was an mildew smell of the room and spots on carpet most definitely will not recommend this location. Overall my daughter and my grandkids all got sick from the hotel by a coutinsley sneezing where they had to go get benadryl. Not sure what caused that. We had reserved 3 rooms
3. The hallway smell like weed. 4. The room is a decent size, however the carpet and the heating and air unit was hanging off of the wall. 5. I get it I mean some people wanna take housekeeping jobs, but trying to translate that I need towels in the housekeeping had to hear me speak into the cell phone to translate English to Spanish. Please make sure to staff cam at least understand my English when it comes to towels, washcloths anything related to the room when it comes to housekeeping 5. The side entry doors were broken so you didn’t need your key to access the side door as they were just open so that’s a major safety hazard. Please get that fixed 6. I asked for a room refresh they said yes, but that never happened so save your money there tons of other great hotels in Crabtree area, but avoid this one at all costs.
Inside was not kept at all and pretty dirty. Elevator was broken and looked scary to get on to take to our room. The 4tg floor button was completely nonexistent and we were scared to ride it and took the stairs.. the stair well and entire 4th smelled of urine (I believe we saw that on another post after we booked and that person was not lying as all).
I felt like we were staying in a haunted house, there were lots of transient or maybe they were tenants living there but not the safest place to be after dark. I was worried about my car being broke into because of the people hanging out in the back parking lot.
And to top off all of that, we booked and prepaid with booking.com and the lady at the front desk still charged my card for the full amount of the room and did not say anything, when I saw 2 payments come off my card I went downstairs to the front desk and asked her what happened and she was like oh yeah, I charged the card and submitted a refund it will take up to 10 days for you to see the credit (what?????) and when was she going to mention that? Not sure, and had the nerve to give the rudest attitude for something that she did.
Not happy at all with the stay- sorry and I will be posting this in a review on the website. Very sad to trick people into what they think may be a nice place. It could honestly be a Motel 6, which is something I was trying to avoid on my mother daughter surprise weekend.

When you get to the room, you will be shocked to see the rust on the windowsill, the cracked lamp shade, the mildew in and in front of the tub and toilet. You need to bring your own towels, the ones they have hair on them. You cannot charge your phone or laptop, there are no receptacles beside the bed (see the pictures).
I asked for my money back several times, but I was ignored.
Filthy
Stains on furniture
Carpets filthy
We will not be staying at another La Quinta after this experience. The cost of this hotel warrants a maximum cost of $45 a night and we paid over $260 for 2 nights. Only stayed the second night as there were no openings elsewhere. Our bags had to be placed in garbage bags on the way home and unpacked outside so we didn’t bring bugs to our home
