The bathroom was not cleaned hair in the tub and roaches in there also.
There was an mildew smell of the room and spots on carpet most definitely will not recommend this location. Overall my daughter and my grandkids all got sick from the hotel by a coutinsley sneezing where they had to go get benadryl. Not sure what caused that. We had reserved 3 rooms

Clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient to dining, shopping, medical facilities. A little pricey for a 1 night stay. Slept in so breakfast was completed however employee in breakfast offered me juice and sausage biscuits and cereal still available. Added a be complimentary bottle of water. Very courteous employee!

Not as classy/nice as the Cary NC location. Pool was smaller and no rooms opened on to the pool (but still the pool area was nice). Great shower pressure. Perfect beds for comfort. The layout of the hotel is very nice. TV was easy to operate. Breakfast was very limited, but that was to be expected due to pandemic issues over the past year. Someone seemed to be trying to sneak in the building's side entrance, and when that was reported, the staff said she'd take care of it.

Due to COVID there was no breakfast, cleaning once per week, fitness center and pool closed, but rates didn’t seem to reflect the reduced services. Staff was friendly. People wearing masks was hit or miss, this includes staff. We accidentally got off on the wrong floor one day and quickly noticed our floor (5th) was more run down than others. Our floor constantly smelled like marijuana during our entire stay (this is a non smoking hotel). Our 2nd night we were woken up around midnight by someone banging on our door and then leaving. The 3rd or 4th night there were people running up and down the hall hollering and cutting up. Another guest that was in town for the same class as me said those people were kicked out of the hotel around 3am. Hand sanitizer was only spotted at the front desk and one floor of the hotel. We asked for a room where we could see our vehicle from the room window, but that was not honored. The rear entrance door kept malfunctioning so we had to park around front much further away from our room. Our room keys had to be reset daily. As for our actual room: beds were somewhat comfortable, we dropped the AC down to 65 but were still hot, room size was good, fridge worked well after letting it run a few hours on its coldest setting, did not try the microwave or hair dryer, closet floor had not been cleaned as it was dusty, we found green and brown hair in various places on the floor throughout the room so it apparently wasn’t vacuumed or swept, we brought cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves before bringing our stuff in. My class was being held next door at the Residence Inn. They had breakfast options and their fitness center was open. Their hotel was very clean and I even spotted security cameras in their halls. Their staff was very friendly although I was not a guest. I saw them cleaning frequently. I wish we would’ve paid extra and stayed there instead. We’ve stayed at other La Quinta’s before and never really had any issues, but this one failed to meet standards of the others we’ve been to.

We will not be staying at another La Quinta after this experience. The cost of this hotel warrants a maximum cost of $45 a night and we paid over $260 for 2 nights. Only stayed the second night as there were no openings elsewhere. Our bags had to be placed in garbage bags on the way home and unpacked outside so we didn’t bring bugs to our home

This hotel was nothing like it portrayed online. My friend and I were looking forward to a weekend getaway for her birthday but we’re extremely disappointed in the quality of the experience and wouldn’t have stayed if we could’ve gotten our money back. The first thing we noticed when we walked in is how dirty the place is. The hallways were full of leaves and dirt, and our room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in God knows how long and the countertops were sticky. I had to ask the front desk for some wipes to clean the surfaces of my room, and they didn’t even acknowledge my complaint. Not to mention, our entire floor smelled like a hot box due to our neighbors who enjoyed smoking weed the entirety of our weekend stay. The continental breakfast that the hotel boasted online was EXTREMELY lacking, and we didn’t even get the chance to be disappointed the first morning, as they were already cleaning up the food a hour before the front desk told us breakfast ended. This hotel is NOT worth the money and you would probably be better off staying at a $50 motel, as it would be the same experience (if not better!) for half the price.

They sent me into a room someone was already in (this already happened to her once) room was nasty, smelled bad. Stains everywhere. Cleaning lady came in around 8am because room was marked as empty. Glad it wasn’t someone trying to check in instead. Front desk staff were unfriendly and didn’t really seem to care about safety and the fact that they kept putting people into others rooms. They more so seemed bothered that we had someone in our room and instead wanted to keep sitting in her chair and finish her little snacky snack. This place is no better than a motel 8. Will not ever stay again, and wouldn’t have stayed that night if it wouldn’t have been too late to get another room. Maybe some actual management would do this place good.

I paid for a services that I did not get. Just like any type of purchase, if I pay anyone for a service or an item, I would expect to receive such service to its fullest promise and the item I purchased to its best qualty. Reality is that, we cannot use short staff as an excuse for providing what we pay for. I've been a member of La Quinta for many years (and Wyndham), and I do understand the struggles of today's workforce, however, for $120 a night, I should not have been subjected to the experiences we had there, as described below:

1. On arrival, we were not greeted properly, it was as if we were an inconvenience, rather than a loyal paying customer. There were no welcomes, never a smile, friendliness was very lacking, and no thank you for staying with us.
2. The electronic sliding keys didn't work. We had to go down twice to the front desk to have them programmed properly to open our room (boy did we get not so nice looks as if we were bothering them). And never was an apology provided for this troubled event.
3. Starting at 11pm all the way to 3am in the morning, there were kids running up and down the halls, yelling in the room next to us. Adults talking very loud and slamming their room door all through the night. The room on the opposite side of us pounded on their wall, thinking it was us, that's how loud they were. I called the front desk, they said they would address this, but it was never addressed and kept going. My wife and I did not get any sleep that night and we had a very special business and social event that next day. That next morning we spoke with the front desk about the whole event and that we did not sleep at all, we were literally up all night from the room next to us. Her response was far from what I expected from a hotel hospitality point and by what had happened to us. She said to us "well. it is a hotel, I can move you to another room if you want, because that room is still occupied by the same people." My wife and I looked at each other in silent surprise. It was too late to look for another hotel, so we asked for a top floor.
4. The next morning of our second night stay (much better), before our departure, my wife and I were getting ready to travel home, so we made sure to get up and pack and be at your breakfast center by 8, which we did. To our surprise, the only thing left was self-made waffles (which we don't like). All the fruit, danishes, bread, yogurt, cereal, and orange juice was exhausted. We asked if more was coming out only to be told, "I don't know, probably not." At this time, we had enough of the negativity and poor lack of hospitality and went somewhere else to eat.

Let me first start by saying that this has been our go to hotel in the Raleigh area for years. Two of my boys attended NC State and the location was perfect. In addition to taking the dogs, it offered large suites with easy access through the back entrance. Fast forward 7 years, oh my what a change.
1. No help at the front desk
2. Bathroom was filthy
3. Hotel has not seen a coat of paint or a carpet washing
In years.
4. Now the scary part. My wife and I were petrified to use the rear entrance as there were sketchy people (obviously not guests) hanging out, drinking and getting high. There was no lighting, it was pitch black. I used my cell phone to light the stairway to the door. Trash was overflowing in the cans and empty beer cases were in front of the door. I went immediately to the front desk, where there was no one. Finally a young man came out from the back after I yelled a few times to get his attention. I explained my concerns and his response was that he, “didn’t know how to turn on the lights out back and that the manager wasn’t around”. I contacted customer care through Wyndham and spoke to someone in Bangladesh who assured me that the situation would be ameliorated. I explained that I expected to hear from someone via phone or email with regard to my concerns. I’ve heard NOTHING..
Now, I’ve been a long time Wyndham rewards customer and there is no way this establishment should be part of the Wyndham community. It is a complete embarrassment from top to bottom. The only positive was that the bed was comfortable. Not clean, but comfortable. I will not be returning. I suggest to anyone, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN…….

Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. We chose this place because it is pet friendly and we really just needed a place to sleep for two nights, but that was pretty much the only positive. Tried to check in twice at the front desk and waited no less than 15 mins each time for someone to actually COME to the front desk. The woman working there had an incredibly poor attitude and made us feel as though we were bothering her by trying to check in. The couple in line in front of us were checking out immediately after checking in, as I heard them say there were blood stains on their bedding and their room keys didn’t work.

Then comes our room. While fairly clean at the surface, just felt very grimy once we got settled in. Mold in the fridge and and an odd stain on the carpet in front of it. Old French fries under the bed, and on our last day we found ants on the dresser.

Although it is a non-smoking hotel, people were very clearly smoking both cigarettes and marijuana (could tell from the smell) throughout our stay. Trash cans in public areas were overflowing and not changed during our entire 48 hour stay. I wish we had immediately left and gone to a different hotel. I have had luck with La Quinta hotels before, but this one was absolutely terrible.
