We’ve stayed at many HGI’s, including this one quite a few times, & this experience was depressing: gross stains on the ceiling, no hair dryer, indifferent service when I requested one, room cleaning only on request (the COVID excuse is lame, at best); time to decide if you want to run a hospitality business or just phone it in.
Close distance to the airport with included rates for parking. I was able to reserve an early morning shuttle. Keyless check-in very convenient too. Room was large, clean and comfy. I would stay here again.
We just stayed here in May 2022 and they just had one server and limited hot food served out of a plastic to go container. Now in September 2022 the dining room and bar was closed. When to Cracker Barrel and had to wait 40 minutes because they did not have enough servers. The hotel park and ride is a good benefit but service is slow on the pick up. Overall the room was clean but dated. Will likely look for another spot on our next trip.
This hotel is in a awesome location and had wonderful service. Though the carpets in the elevator need to be removed. The smell is moldy and visibly worn. The room was cleaned, but I always prefer to wipe it down and use my own sheets upon disinfecting. The pillowd were horrible. They provided two mini pillows and on semi firm long pillow. The two smaller pillows must be for decoration hard they offer no support. Also, they need to update the dingy white comforters. There were several brown stains on our carpet that looked like someone spilled coffee. The lounge chair is pretty dated so it could use some refurbishing. Although, the refrigerator was cold maybe too cold since the entire freezer was engulfed in ice. As I mostly note, everything for the bathroom was inside behind a closed door to provide total privacy. The shower curtain and the stepping into a tub was definitely dated and dangerous. However, I have to say the Hilton has the softest towels I have used for a hotel. The Breakfast and snack area was very nice and was pretty well stocked. Unfortunately, we checked out before eating breakfast especially since it wasn't not complimentary with our room choice. Overall, it's okay for a overnight stay.…
The clean rating of 7.3 is a lie! Our room was nasty!!! Stain on comforter, trash in floor upon arrival, brown goo on bathroom wall and ceiling, tile on wall chipped. I’ve never had such a gross room.
I spent one night here. The hotel was clean and quiet. My room did have some pipe noises. The employees were very accommodating. I don’t know about the area because I stayed in my room. I didn’t see any food places near by but I used door dash.
We have stayed here before but this may be the last time. For starters the Hotel was over booked. I got the very last room. People who came in after me who also had reservations, were turned away and had nowhere to go. There was a man who was either a house keeper or maintenance man who was cussing and complaining about the job to the creepy clerk. The front desk clerk was creepy, very strange and creepy. We stayed here for their park and fly. The pillows were stinky. Made it hard to sleep kind of stinky. Next, the breakfast. It was not free. It was $15 per person. We would have paid that but this was just the low quality free breakfast that hotels usually serve. So we just ordered food through Uber. Cheaper and better food. Finally parking spaces were not too cramped. But someone managed to hit my car door and leave a dent.…
This was the first stop on our vacation it was great. We stayed here and left our car behind. The location was awesome and very convenient. The front desk and the shuttle drivers were outstanding and helpful. The room was great.
This property is a great location if you are flying out of RDU Airport. It is located next to Lot 3, and also offers a shuttle to the Airport. I had a room with a king bed that was very comfortable. Hotel was very quiet, Wi-Fi worked well, plenty of desk space, and good shower with hot water. Coffee maker and refrigerator in room. Plenty of (free) parking.
This hotel has really gone down. We stayed here in the past while visiting our daughter at NC State but this time it was awful. There is lots of wear and tear such as scuffed walls, rippled carpet, and broken light fixtures. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pitiful pillows were a joke. When we called the desk for others they just sent up another bad one. We hardly slept that night at all! The bathroom was not very clean and the floor felt greasy. We are diamond for life members and the front desk did not acknowledge that or offer water bottles. The only positive thing about the stay was the tasty omelette we had before checking out. We canceled our reservation for the next night and went to the Double Tree and it felt like a luxury hotel in comparison.
