I arrived at the hotel later than I had anticipated and was running late for an evening engagement. To my surprise, the desk clerk said that my room was not yet ready. I asked if I could switch to a different type of room. Although it was 6 pm not one room was ready. The parking lot was far from full. He said that they had had a "large group" check in earlier in the morning and his housekeeping staff was running behind. The room itself was what we have come to expect from this chain. Spacious, very clean, and quiet. Wi-fi worked well. I did not use any other amenities at the hotel.

Room was well equipped with good kitchen,. Had dishes,. Silverware, mugs and glasses for three, which what room could sleep. Plenty of pots, a skillet, and kitchen tools like cork screw, knife, spatula, peeler, and a cutting board. There was dish soap and cloth, as well as dishwasher soap. One thing I will bring next time is a scrubby sponge. There is a good size pantry there also. There was a toaster and coffee maker - the hotel kind where you put in one of their weird little coffee filters. There was also teas, and sweeteners. We brought our compact air fryer, so we were able to cook all our meals. The bed was good, not as.good as the ones in newer townplace suites, but much better than other places we have stayed at. The bathroom has a big shower, with glass doors, plenty of shelves for my own shampoo, and etc. Also had dispensers of body soap, shampoo, and cream rinse. The couch was comfortable, and there is a pullout dining table under the desk, to eat on while sitting on the couch. The Tv is strangely placed, at a wall to the right of the couch, but that was ok. The window opens a couple of inches for fresh air. The ac\heat unit worked well. The window coverings would block 98% of outside light, and a towel rolled up under the door made the room nice and dark for sleeping. We heard no hallway or other noises at night, but the hotel was not very busy. The toilet paper was good quality. Breakfast was not bad. Eggs and sausage, good oatmeal in a large pot (not instant), coffee, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, and one day waffles. The indoor pool was open, although not big or deep, still adequate for laps. There was a.whirlpool. The water was clean, with a salt water system rather than chlorine. The room furniture was a little dated, but all acceptable. I was quite satisfied overall. I had check-in with employees Marcita and checkout with Rob. Both were friendly and helpful, and took care of my questions easily. They get a 10\10 for sure. Finally, the bill was as expected, the room rate and taxes only, now extra fees.

Room Tip: We had a studio with king bed. I would suggest asking about a room with a tub for children.

Stayed here for a week and utilized a mixture of cooking in the hotel, outside on the grill, and eating out locally. COVID-19 is ramping down in the Charlotte area, which is great. The hotel did provide a mixture of hot food as well as pre-packaged food and had one of the great staff dishing out the food to avoid contact on the breakfast buffet. Management was great at coordinating a contactless room service and towel exchange. I utilized the gym on site every day as well as our family utilizing the pool and spa. all areas were clean and well kept. The pool was a bit chilly, but provided a great opportunity to polar bear plunge and retreat to the spa. Many thanks to the staff for a great week!

Loved the room size. Room was very well sized with full kitchen. Great for extended stays. Loved the whirlpool and pool, both worked and were heated and were indoor, which was great for nights that were in the 40's. Breakfast was horrid, just bagged stuff and prepackaged stuff, nothing was fresh or warm...not even coffee or tea offered in the lobby, which is not great since making it in your room just does not cut it, due to cleanliness. The room itself was very clean, and the staff were very nice. I would stay again, except for the lousy COVID breakfast. Great shower, lots of power, and everything worked well.

Went out there for business and this is our companies go to hotel. Nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms are a little outdated and need some improvements. Great location. Plenty of food options around hotel. Nice titanium elite recognition. Was upgrade to a suite. Definitely stay there again when in town.
