Based on reviews, we expected the hotel to be wonderful. The greeting we had on arrival was outstanding. However, the rooms were not great. The beds were soft and uncomfortable. The pillows were thick and some were crinkly -- not easy to sleep on. Although the hotel was largely empty, one of our rooms was 6126, which is really tiny. The back of it is cut off, with the space used for hotel storage. There was not enough space for people to pass each other between the bed and bureau, and the bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen. There was only one small trashcan, in the bathroom. Also, be aware that there are no rails in the shower. The shower floor is only a bit slippery, but people with balance problems should be cautious. I commented about Room 2016 in the email we received from the hotel after checkout. Two managers called me, and neither had been in that room or, in fact, in most of the rooms at 200 Main. On the plus side, the location was wonderful and the price was reasonable.…
My second time staying there as there was no availability at The Old Edwards Inn(which owns 200 Main). Clean, modern rooms w fireplaces and private balconies…at night there was a fire pit w chairs that we also enjoyed. Went to the Spa at Old Edwards and ate at Madison’s so we were able to enjoy both places.
My husband and I traveled to The Highlands for our anniversary and due to Old Edwards and Half Mile being completed booked the weekend we were traveling, I came across 200 Main. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations I saw online and moved forward with booking. Upon arrival, check-in was seamless and the staff was even kind enough to write us a Happy Anniversary card knowing we were in town celebrating. We booked a King bed room and it had everything we needed (king bed, TV, mini fridge, Nespresso machine, closet with hangers, sitting area and even HEATED bathroom floor). The property was within a short walking distance to the main street and all the shops/restaurants. The only slight complaint we had is that our room had a shared door with the room next to us and a couple with an infant was staying next door which led to a couple nights of middle of the night crying we heard. Nothing the couple could do about it, nor would we have known to request anything different with our accommodation. We were also in a room next to the laundry/cleaning services room, and it got slightly noisy as the maid staff were moving to and from that room and guests rooms. Regardless of those two items, we would definitely go back!…
Thought a great place and great value. Sooo close to town. It is very very clean. Loved the firepit. The one thing and it somewhat bothered me, above toilet there is a bit of decor that references Christ. Just did not think this is appropriate. I have travelled a lot l, and have never seen this in a hotel room.
My wife and I had a short stay opportunity for 2 nights and couldn't have been more happier when we decided to stay at 200 Main. As we entered the lobby, Rolinda was working the front desk/check-in and had the most professional demeanor. We were treated as if we were the only guest in the lodge. The cleanliness of the lodge was outstanding and the amenities were the perfect fit to relax during the 2 cold days we were in Highlands. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Location, staff, and cleanliness are top notch. I casually struck up conversation with a kind semi-retired gentleman (wish I could've remembered his name) and learned more about Highlands than I knew from previous trips to this great town. It's such a pleasure when you hear from staff that they love their job and love where they live and work. No negative vibes are like the gift wrap on a present. We would've stayed the week if we had more time. Kudos to Old Edwards Hospitality for employing the best in the industry.…
