Dingy, loud and rickety room was the least of it, wife and family threatened by management staff is completely unacceptable!! Lied repeatedly to our face. Simply refused to accommodate the slightest request, awaken by cleaning staff vacuuming other rooms unreasonably early, they don't care about guests, just an overpriced motel, don't fall for the photos

We were a group of six, three siblings and their spouses, and we had three rooms along the ground level near each other. The boutique feel is carried all the way through, from the room names (ours after Grace Slick), the 1960s influenced decor, the record players and LPs in the rooms (it was great to play Carole King and Van Morrison and James Taylor), the vintage VW microbus out front, and so on. The rooms and baths were clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a pool where we dipped our toes while waiting for the third couple to arrive and an artificial turf putting green where you can practice your stroke (they supply balls and putters, included left-handed ones). There's a firepit at night that several of us spent time around. All in all, the hotel has a nice calming feel to it. The location is not in the town of Woodstock itself, but the drive there isn't far. There's a little café on the property where you can buy breakfast items and bring back to your room or eat there on a couple of tables. The hotel management is friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience.…

Such a COOL hotel! Small and inviting with a really friendly feel. The rooms are lovely and the grounds are GREAT! Super clean and the beds are COMFY and the showers are EXCELLENT! Very convenient to the town of Woodstock and nearby attractions and activities.Only two issues: can't get ice at the hotel on Sundays because the onsite restaurant is closed, and the onsite coffee shop (which is AWESOME!) is closed on Tuesdays.

Cleanliness 10/10 Service 10/10 Amenities 10/10 This hotel is amazing! I only stayed for one night and wish I would have been able to stay longer. Not sure if all the rooms are the same size but the room I stayed in, the Lang, was huge! It had a retro mini fridge, bookshelf, large desk area, and a rack to hang clothes. I had never used a record player before staying here and was excited to be able to use one in my room. Daryl was very helpful and told me about hiking in the area and gave me directions to a reservoir near by and made it to just as the sun was going down.

Just a few miles from numerous destinations in the Catskills and Hudson River Valley, we got it right choosing Hotel Dylan as our home base for 4 nights. Woodstock, Kaaterskill Falls, Opus 40, Frederic Church’s Olana, Thomas Cole’s home (HRV School of Art) , Walkway Over The Hudson, FDR’s Home & Library, and the Vanderbilt Mansion were all within a short drive. Hotel Dylan is up to date, clean, fun with a 60’s vibe and managed by a very personable proprietor, Darryl. Can’t wait to spend more time in the area and at Hotel Dylan!

Due to my hubs recent passing, I am in mourning and actually didn’t go. I had booked 3 nights and knew I needed to pay for 1, which seemed fair. THE MANAGER REFUNDED ALL 3 NIGHTS!!!!! This is amazing as others were not so kind. Friends sAid it is a great place and I hope to get there. but a hotel with s heart is amazing and rare and usually flows down to staff/ which it did! This is a beautiful place, but more importantly, it is a HOTEL WITH A HEART! Please support them.

I can't even describe how much I love this hotel - it's so unique and has so much charm. The service was impeccable. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so damn comfortable. They do little touches that made it feel extra special, like leaving s'more kits on the door and weather forecast for the weekend with hiking recommendations. The pool was so great too and the restaurant and caffe were both great. My only complaint was that our room was on the first floor outside of the fire pit and you can hear everything going on outside, next door and above you. If you're a light sleeper like me, I def recommend ear plugs (which I luckily had but didn't block all of the noise) and requesting a second floor off center room. I've traveled a lot and this was hands down one of my all time favorite hotels.…

Thank you for staying with us, for your kind review, and for your feedback. When we added the East Wing in 2018, we set out to create very quiet rooms. The original West Wing where you stayed on your recent trip was built in 1966 and fully renovated in 2013 including a new roof, plumbing & electrical systems, and a rebuild over the original stud work. We utilized sound engineers, acoustic foam, and sheetrock for the renovation however, there is only so much that can be done to eliminate sound transmission in a 60-year-old structure. Many of our repeat guests choose the West as they want the vintage experience, but we always recommend the East for light sleepers. We hope that you will return and try the East Wing. Thank you again!

At about 1:30 pm, on our 10th wedding anniversary, with no real plans, we booked a room at Hotel Dylan for that night. What an amazing find. The room is beautiful, spacious and playful. I love how the design is tied to Woodstock's musical history, lots of great art, nods to the summer of love and even a record player, while still feeling very modern. The shower is awesome, and they have Lather bath products, which are a favorite of mine. All this great design, and the room is super functional. Lots of space to put your clothes away (hello longer stay!) bedside charging, and even a rubber tray for muddy hiking boots. But that is just the room! The pool is a little slice of paradise! Plus there are lots of fun touches like a little putting green, corn hole, a lobby area with books and records your can borrow, did I mention how great the pool is? If all that wasn't enough, when we got to the room (remember we had only booked it 2 hours prior to arriving) there was a happy anniversary card waiting for us. That is a level of attention to detail and service you only get at a really great hotel. …

This feels like a motel renovated nice enough to call it a hotel. The rooms were large and clean. They are music themed and very cute. There were fun activities like a fire pit and music in the lobby that we did not know about until we were leaving. Shower area was heated. Record player with records in the room.
