Take a beautiful old building, quirky decor, very comfortable room and bed, great breakfast and a host who couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable, and you have one of our best ever B&B experiences.
Annie, the host, is simply amazing - exceptionally helpful and accommodating and a qualified chef who enjoyed up fabulous meals at short notice of needed.
Mirepoix is a fantastic place to visit and you could not possibly do better than stay at Labyrinthe. Location is also perfect, just off the main square.

If you are seeking a warm and friendly chambre d’hôte to stay in Mirepoix, then look no further as this is one of the most delightful establishments of this type, that we have ever stayed in. Right in the centre of Mirepoix, it is ideally located and Annie, the proprietoress, has lived in the area for many years and will be able to offer guidance and advice on the immediate area and far beyond. We were made to feel welcome and really enjoyed our time in her home, which is full of art and memorabilia collected over the years. The fact that she was a professional chef is icing on the cake.

We were in a nice large space on the top floor with our own bathroom which was great. It was very hot out so it was hot inside (though that’s the fault of no one but nature). If you are looking for unique accommodation and are not focused on amenities, this is the place for you.

Too many stairs for someone with mobility issues. We were at the top of the house - 3 flights- and after informing our host that I had difficulty with stairs, we were not moved to another room even though we were the only guests staying there that weekend! Shower in the bedroom so no privacy. Decor shabby chic but more shabby than chic. Only good points are very comfortable bed and great location.

Really a lovely B&b - huge comfortable room with great shower and breakfast excellent. Just a word to the owner - get rid of the bit that states there is free onsite parking - I arrived on a Saturday and was lucky to get parking on the street nearby which was free I suppose - but my idea of onsite parking is not quite that!

This is a little cute hotel just right in the middle of Mirepoix! The owner is a lovely person, the hotel is cozy, the rooms are big and the bed could not be more comfortable! Breakfast was just ready when we woke up, with fresh orange juice, coffee, pastries, bread, yogurt, and lots of handmade jams.
100% recommended!!

We chose this accommodation based on reviews that described it as a clean place. However, our experience has been totally opposite.
I left two stars just because the location is good and the owner is a friendly person, which is the only positive thing I can stand out from this place.

About the room:
• The room was dirty, full of accumulated dust.
• The sheets and towels are old and faded, in an indefinable shade, neither white, nor gray, nor purple.
• There were yellow spots of leaks on the roof.
• The bathroom is inside the room, separated from the bed only by a screen.
• The sound of the toilet in the upper room is very present.
At night, the owner cooked fish, filling the whole house, including our room, with the smell of fried fish. It was hard to sleep with the smell.

Breakfast: Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, bread, butter, homemade jam, croissants, Neapolitans and a banana. There is enough but there were no salty options.
Breakfast was served in a dining room full of junk, with a dog bed and lots of things that needed tidying up. There was a mountain of hotel clothes in one corner, management papers in another, shopping stuff in the next and more messy stuff in different corners. Eating in the meantime is not pleasant; we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Hotel: As you enter, you are greeted by two dogs running towards you barking. You don't know how to treat them and you can't move until the owner shows up and asks them to step aside. This happened every time we tried to enter or leave the hotel. We like animals, but we're not here for this. We've never seen anything similar anywhere else.
In general, the house is old and might have its charm if it were not crowded with failed attempts at craft projects that are everywhere gathering dust and, incidentally, are for sale. Some in the room with marked price.
In short, an experience I would not recommend.

Charming but the triple room is not quiet. Car overlooks narrow street. We can hear conversations even at night. And toilet as bathroom on landing. No hair dryer. €4 more than expected on hotel.com is requested for breakfast. Surprising.
