It has been a wonderful experience staying at Cerf Island Resort from 24Sep 22 to 4Oct 2022 Quality of service - excellent Hospitality - excellent Staff behavior- warm welcoming and quite humble Food - very good - bit slower service during the lunch time. Ambience- excellent ambience of the property Transportation inside the property - by 4 seater buggies It is fun to walk through the sea shores, enjoy the breeze and the fresh air Rooms - we stayed at Hillside villa - Rozamer and it was awesome , large rooms with balcony to sit and relax. The picturesque mountains and nature is very well in sync at this resort. It was an enjoyable, perfect honeymoon for us . We would 100% suggest this resort to anyone who is traveling to Seychelles. Few of the staff members whom we met and heartily supported our stay there are Prakash,Simon ,Pruman & Vijay… we are very grateful for the hospitality showered on us. Also the property nurtures huge 2 old turtles .

Lovely resort in a super location in Seychelles. We enjoyed the views, the proximity to Mahe and the St Anne’s Marine Reserve. The food was great, although options for fussy kids was limited. The staff were amazing, they really went the extra mile to make our stay special. The spa was awesome as well!

Staff bend over backwards to help & customer service is impeccable. Beautiful views. Lovely room. My husband and I had a wonderful massage by Suri & Vita at the resorts spa. Very magical & really quite miraculous how in tune the masseuse was. Very responsive if you wanted a softer or firmer touch. Would recommend.

This was the nicest room we have ever had on holiday. We had the furthest Villia up the hill. It was a steep walk, although we tended to choose it rather than getting the buggy up (which they will take you whenever you ask). The shower is outside completely - it was incredible. A huge spa bathtub - really nice (bubble bath not supplied wish I had thought of taking some). The sinks and mirror outside. It was so nice to get ready int his area, it felt like paradise. Arrival. We had some issues waiting for the boat - but we are chasing that up with our travel agents as it appeared they didn't pass on when we were due to arrive. When we got off the boat we were greeted with welcome drinks and given a talk about the island and resort. We then were given a tour around the resort. Information Very good. Details on the weather was up on the front desk everyday. Excursions - I wish details on prices were on the website prior to our booking so we could budget. These were the costs when we were there: -->snorkeling in St Anne Marine park 525 SCR - this is one hour when you want to go. We didn't do it due to the weather (also a reef safari 130 euro wed, fri, sun ) -->Moyenne island 250 SCR - best trip - totally worth it. If the waves are high the boat can't stop on the beach (there is no jetty) so worth if you are going in August doing at the first chance you can. The dinner at Jolly Roger was brilliant and well worth it - entertainment was good too. -->Praslin & La Digue - 225 euro mon & thurs. I relaly wanted to do tis but 22 weeks pregnant everyone was saying not to due tot he waves. This year the waves were so high in August we didn't chose against it. --> there is a trip back to Mahe once a day you can get for free I think 9:30 and back at 5 Activities Snorkeling - some within swimming distance - the water was too rough when we were there though Kayaks - we didn't due to the strong currents. we would have loved to have gone out to the close by island at low tide when you can walk to the next island. You can see this though from the helipad. Helipad - sunrise isn't great as there are trees in the way, but sun set if the weather is good will be visible as you look out to Mahe - and there is a nice bench to sit on. You can't walk around the island anymore. you can go along the beach a but further at low tide to the next hotel but only for a short period before the tude comes in. So it si rather isolated and therefore an ideal place for several days rather than longer. There aren't many villas on the island so not much of a vibe. Also this is due to were the internet is and lack of entertainment/cost of drinks at the bar. After dinner most people are in reception as it is the only place with wifi (getting a local sim card wasn't possible when we arrived on a sunday - the needed shops were not open). Food It was really good. Staff remembered who you were, what villia you were in. Really good customer service.

I had an exquisite weekend at Cerf Island Resort, the seclusion is impeccable. One can enjoy true tranquility and be in touch with nature. The villa was superb, all the staffs were super polite and attentive. I went on HB reservation, the quality and variety of food was impressive. They do a mean Cerf Island Ice Tea, it’s definitely value for your money. There’s also access to water sport equipments. Best for family , friends and couples vacation.

This hotel is the perfect place to disconnect and relax. It is located near the main island ( just some minutes by boat) but also near some small paradises like Moyenne Island. The food is good ( a little expensive in comparison to other islands) and there is not a lot of options .. I think it definitely relies on what is provided because the Chef is really creative and make the best of the ingredients he receives. Kenneth, Simon, Jacinta, Elja and Olivia memorized all of our preferences from day one and were always happy and friendly! There is also once a week a creole night where you can taste so much from local cuisine while listening/watching to amazing performers! Rian and Narris are punctual, friendly and very professional. It was always nice and we felt safe when taking a boat ride with them to the Mahe or to Moyenne Island! :) Karine and all the reception team were always worried about us to make sure we were having the best days! A HUGE applause for Prakash.. this guy is ready to work at any hotel in the world. He is always going the extra mile to make our stay not good but excellent. ( if you are his boss and you are reading this: make sure to not loose this guy!!!) Also, don’t forget to visit the Spa. Such a beautiful place and Vita and Suri are amazing and it was the best massage we ever had! I could write a list of names of people that helped us during our stay ( from reception, restaurant, transport, maintenance..) but it would be huge. All of them are exceptional! There is of course some room for improvement ( wifi connection, tv and some other structural aspects) but the staff is so friendly and welcoming that you just feel good and forget about it. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy the beach and get the best service, you wont regret staying here!

This is a beautiful place to stay some nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are huge, very nice terrasse and a jaccuzzi in the openair and really big and comfortabel bath room. They prepared a beautiful cocktail on the Heli pad for sundowner with a terrific view to Victoria. They organised snorkel tours to the Marine National Park, kanoes are given for free - fantastic experience. All the offered fins were damaged and should be urgently changed to new ones. The halfboard offers with the international menus do not correspond to the expectations of the listed plates in the menucard. After the first dinner we choosed for the next two evenings the local local, creol specialities! That made us very happy because the chicken as well as the fish curry were really nice and tasty prepared. Nevertheless we can recommend this place to anyone because the positive impressions clearly dominatel.

We stayed at two resorts in the Seychelles, here and the Hilton Labriz and Cerf Island Resort is the one we would recommend. The rooms here were located in little secluded pockets of the island so when you were sitting on the huge balcony or lying in the outdoor bath you felt like you were the only ones there. The resort is perfectly located as it is a short 5 min boat ride from Eden Island and a quick 10 min bus ride from there to Victoria. You can also kayak into the marine park and visit the islands (and turtles!) there or head south from the resort to some lovely snorkelling spots. The villa we had (Karkasay) had an unobstructed view over the bay, a beautiful four poster bed and an amazing indoor / outdoor two person Jacuzzi bath. The walk to the villa was one of the nicest parts of the island, walking through beautifully canopied path. The staff were friendly and helpful with the manager Prakash organising everything perfectly, from the pick up and drop off through to the late checkout and car hire. The only cons were the lack of cats! A previous guest had complained and they had to chase them off the island... with the exception of one ginger holdout!

Dear Amrit S, Greetings from our little Hidden Gem! Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed that quiet togetherness atmosphere in nature of the property and all the authentic facilities it offers. Our team is committed to ensuring our guests have an unforgettable & comfortable stay with us and we are delighted that we were able to make such a great impression on your holiday. We do apologize for the little hiccups with the cats of which we presume are from private owners staying on the island itself, not the resorts. We are indeed trying to take care of this and have indeed been advising the guests not to feed them as they will keep coming back if they are fed. Thank you once again for recommending us and we surely do look forward to welcoming you in again in future for another memorable stay. Take Care & Be Safe! Kind Regards

On our third trip to the Seychelles, this time with children, we decided to stay at Cerf Island Resort, because we find island hopping without luggage on a daily basis more pleasant. Cerf offers a lot of variety (beach walks, good house reef, guided snorkelling excursions from the hotel, exciting islands in the surrounding area, short distances to Victoria, great helipad from the lookout point). The hotel organises everything extremely reliably (rental cars, excursions, etc.), which is not a standard feature in the Seychelles. The Tortoise Suite Villas (we had Takamaka) are close to the sea/pool/reception and were very large (2 bedrooms/bathrooms, each with separate entrance), clean and very adventurously placed on the jungle hillside. We would recommend rooms around the lower part of the resort to be independent of the golf car that has to transport guests up the hill (very steep hillsides). Most of the accommodation had mosquito nets, but the family villas did not (we brought our own or you have to ask for them in advance, mosquitos issues were very individually). We found the infrastructure to be adequate for a hotel of this class, only the snorkelling equipment provided is unusable (old). The kayaks are in good condition and were mostly available (bring life jackets for children). Both pools were lovely and well maintained, the beach very clean, however the house reef is a little harder to reach at low tide due to the water level, but it's worth the effort. The tranquillity of the resort is good, although individual planes, mostly small, fly over the island when landing and there are also regular motor boats due to the location opposite the harbour, the nights were very quiet. The transfer to the main island and back is possible 2-3 times a day free of charge and if there are unscheduled trips, you can join them as a hitchhiker after asking. Otherwise the tours are chargeable (but we only needed 1x in 2 weeks). The breakfast is very extensive and can only be ordered from the menu (the children's favourite was crepes with Nutella) and the evening meal offers a great menu every evening with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian.....for good eaters somewhat small portions, but you can order more. We were never bored with our meal in 2 weeks and the fish dishes were just great. The service quality and friendliness of the staff is very high and the customer orientation is exemplified by the head of the reception (Singh), is excellent and unmatched. We would especially like to mention the clean rooms and the courteous staff in the restaurant and at the snorkelling boat (who fulfilled every wish). Now the annoying topic of WLAN, which is on the level of the 90's and is rightly complained about by almost all travellers....a difficult topic. We booked a 10 GB international package through our provider Swisscom, which cost EUR/CHF 100 and was just about enough for 2 weeks. We would do the trip again and had a wonderful, eventful time, where the price/performance ratio was also very good. Thx to all people from the Cerf Island Resort to make our life more colourful and enjoyable.
