First built in 1881, as the Ernst family farmstead, Glen Falls House was converted into a hotel and resort in the 1940's, and has been a popular destination for friends and family since. In May 2017, Greg Brier of Good Room in Brooklyn, NY and Jonathan Picco of The Surf Lodge in Montauk, NJ led the purchase of Glen Falls House, with a plan to revitalize the resort and reestablish it as a timeless Catskills destination for today's traveler. Glen Falls House's laid back energy, inherent character, and Central Catskills location make it a charming destination for weekend getaways, young family vacations, weddings, festivals, creative retreats, day trips and events. Staff is currently hard at work revitalizing the resort's 42 rooms, dining area, Tavern, and more. Please call us to hear more about our renovation schedule and reserve your room for the 2018 season!

We spent last weekend at Glen Falls House with my sister in law and family. The rooms were clean but had a rustic feel. The walls were paneling (which gave the room charm) the TVs were old, and made the kids (13.10, 8, and 3)...More
We just spent 2 nights in this place. We got the deal from Living Social.
It's an old place . The motel in the upper side is not the fanciest one. It needs more TLC , but it was enough for the 5 of us....More

I receive an email back in February stating that the property will be open this summer 2017. The email gave a date to make summer reservations, perhaps March 1st. They typically open Mother's Day, and they don't necessarily answer the phone regularly prior. Leave a message, they will return your call in a few days.
