People outside the hotel who seemed to be on drugs, removing clothing, having loud domestic disputes, sketchy elevator so I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs instead, strong marijuana smell in the hallways and rooms and multiple staff members looked and acted high. My partner asked one of them if she had been smoking inside the hotel and she said "I wish." Front desk clerk smoking cigarettes right outside the interior door with smoke going in. Toilet didn't flush and the staff mentioned knowing that room had the problem yet they gave us this room anyway. You had to hold the handle until it almost overflowed and then let go at the right moment and pray. All staff were all maskless and expected to just come in the room while looking strung out and laughing about nothing. Horrible breakfast. Very strange globules of something that was supposed to resemble egg, overcooked sausage and very undercooked thing resembling potato. No distancing or safety measures like plastic gloves a tthe last hotel we stayed at. Couldn't give our disabled daughter a bath because the shower kept spraying the whole time. Faucets not secure. Hairs from someone else all over bathroom floor. I booked on priceline and the check out time stated 12 noon. We were having trouble getting the toilet to flush again in the morning so it took us longer than we wanted to get going. They have a very strange rule that you cannot use the pool until after signing a paper "to ensure you're not having a pool party," and the front desk clerk escorts you to the pool (room keys will not work) and you need to have another adult with you who does not swim to be your lifeguard. We left the room at 10:30 and wanted to check out and then use the pool. I've stayed at many hotels and this has never been a problem. The lady at the desk tried to argue with me that she didn't know if the manager was going to let us use the pool and that we'd have to check out after and check out was 11. I said that's fine if you changed it recently but it says here on the paper from Priceline that checkout is noon so you'd have to honor that, wouldn't you? She agreed and brought us to the pool but after getting home I see that we've been charged by both priceline AND the hotel for a night and we only stayed 1 night. Did she really charged me for being 15 minutes late checking out when we spend at least 2 hours trying to get their toilet to work????! Awful awful hotel. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep from the burning eyes because of the pot smoke and because the bed is like a padded board. Headed off to my doctor to be treated for asthma exacerbation from all the smoke I was exposed to. If you're not going to a hotel to party, do not stay here.

I have never rated a hotel at one star but I will this time. The room was for my daughter who was arriving late (after midnight). She called the hotel to inform them of her late arrival and also noted it in the reservation. When she arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m. they did have her late arrival noted but failed to tell the night employee. They gave her room away. She did find another room after an hour but at double the price I paid originally. The whole point of this booking was to prevent a young woman, on her way home, from being out alone in the middle of the night and to eliminate the need to drive tired. Thanks for nothing Country Inn and Suites. Where I thought my daughter would be safe for the night you put her in greater danger. Secondary to that, the hotel refunded the money but I had to take the extra step and wait 45 minutes on hold through hotels.com to get the refund because the refund went back to hotels.com and not to me. I also lost the rewards points I supposed to get. Where most of my bookings typically go smoothly, this was a major screw up that has left this momma bear very displeased.

The whole 3rd floor smelled of weed. The entryway was full of people with kids made it look like a bus station. The staff was friendly. Entire experience was sub-par and not worth the money. Please spend your money at a different & cleaner hotel. This was a bad experience. Will never stay here again!

We should have know there was a problem with this hotel when we walked in and the lobby smelled of weed and my husband was asked to sign extra papers saying we would have no open flames, no pets, and no extra people in the room. Every time we went through the lobby you could smell pot. The smell of weed only got worse as the evening went on. It completely permeated our room and was very strong all night. Starting around 10 pm people started laughing and carrying on in the hallways running around and being oud. We got absolutely no sleep and couldn't wait to leave in the morning. We we left the room the smell of weed in the hallway was even stronger giving me the impression that people must have been in the hallways smoking pot. Additionally, the towels were paper thin and like sandpaper. When I complained at the desk, the employee did not sound surprised at all. This was the worse hotel stay I've ever had. Anyone who has posted that this hotel is nice must be one of the people that go there to party.
