When we checked in the girl was nice but every other person at the desk throughout our stay either did not understand English or would not even make eye contact. The rooms were very gross and dirty. The furniture is very old and beat up, the closet door wouldn’t work. The door to enter the room had to be forced open and closed and the door to the bathroom made so much noise I felt like I was disturbing everyone else in the hotel. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom and the water did not run to the drain. Our friend's that also stayed here he’d a leak in their room and the desk clerck didn’t seem to care. Also when they got to the room the first night there was a soaking wet towel on the bathroom floor, again the staff did not care. If I could I would rate this hotel at a negative 5.

DON’T stay at this hotel. Upon pulling into the parking lot I noticed 2 men walking around the building smoking. At first I didn’t think anything of it but then saw they were stopping at specific windows. When we went to register, the manager was insistent with the clerk helping us that we had to stay in Room 108. She was clearly frustrated because she already put someone in that room and he showed her how to switch people around. Then the clerk asked for ID and credit card. I informed her I paid with points. She said it was required so I gave it to her. I asked why she needed my card if the room was already paid. She replied for incidentals. I asked, what kind of incidentals? She replied in case your caught smoking in the room or there is damage. I informed her I don’t smoke. She ignored me. If I hadn’t been so tired from traveling, I would’ve been more pushy on it. Upon entering the room it already smelled like cigarette smoke. I should’ve complained but all I wanted to do was eat and sleep. I kept checking out the window to make sure my car was okay and these guys were still out there at 1 a.m. I barely slept because of the smell and had to use my rescue inhaler 3 times. A couple hours after checking out, I received a phone call from the hotel that my card was being charged for smoking in the room. I argued with him but he was like, too bad, you’re getting charged. I am now filing a complaint with the chain and contacting the Attorney Generals Office for fraud.

Very peaceful stay and staff was very nice. I and my grandson went to Niagara Falls and then came to Rochester to see Lake Ontario. Seemed like the Hotel has done some updates and there were plenty of customers checking in. Would definitely go here again.

Random hairs on the bed UNDER the covers when we first arrived. Bathroom floor was disgustingly filthy! Dust and a sticky substance on BOTH lamps! The door the the room did not fit and you had to throw your weight on it to close or open it, it looked like someone had to kick it in at some point. Door lock was missing, ceiling was cracked and paint peeling in the bathroom and in the entryway. The rooms furniture was warped and cracked, the mirror was about to fall off the closet door, bed frames were very creaky, staff NOT friendly at all - they wouldn't even make eye contact! I could go on and on, but I'm tired as I got no sleep because the person in the other room was blowing his nose all night! I would stay in my vehicle in the middle of winter with no heat before I ever stayed here again!

Checked in with family for 3 nights to attend a funeral. !st night with no heat in room. Outside temp was 4 degrees. Free Breakfasts in mornings were inadequate no eggs 1 or 2 pieces of sausage. No smoking room was rife with stale cigarette smoke. Hotel was under construction with no outside signage to show location. Should never have been sold. Very few rooms available to stay. Quality Inns are usually OK and have stayed at many. But not this one. Clerks had no clue who to complain to. Got a partial rebate from Quality Inn HQ.
