Well organized, nice service, modern furniture, was really good to stay there. we has such pleasant time. food was not bad also. I would definitely go there again and recommend the hotel in cape Verde
What a wonderful hotel my cousin and I stayed in a junior suite room 304 had a lovely view of the pool was spotlessly clean and had good air con, waterfall shower was a god send at the end of a hot day. The beach 5 mins walk away which we went to a few times good to sea all the kite surfers. Never an issue of getting a bed by the pool there were plenty for everyone, hiring of beach towel €15 deposit and you could change daily. Breakfast was very pleasant plenty of choice and I disagree with others saying not replenished we found it was and if you asked they soon supplied. Drinks were slightly more than in town but not too much especially during happy your. We also ate on site twice in the evening both times we really enjoyed the food. We walked into town the remaining evenings The Dubliner and Palm Beach were our favourites. My cousin had a massage which she thoroughly enjoyed whilst I was on a horse riding beach trip. The only slight downside was the lift being temperamental but hotel only two storeys so not much stair climbing anyway. All the staff at this hotel are polite courteous and an absolute credit to the hotel, I believe the Gardner’s hard work needs a special mention as the clean pool and gardens are just a perfect place to relax thanks to him.…
A nice place but nothing special! Very clean rooms but literally nowhere to put your clothes! Hanging space with 6 hangers (not long enough for dresses) and no drawers! Designed by a man according to my wife! All of our clothes stayed in the cases.... A nice pool and well maintained gardens. The pool bar is over priced for both drinks and food. The breakfast has a huge choice but cater more for sweet than savoury. Also items kept running out and were slow to be replenished. The freshly made omelettes were very good. Not sure about hygiene given birds pecking away at bakes etc! I was also not aware that the beach was across the road.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during their high season. The hotel is a good one and reasonably priced, rooms, pool and dining area are well maintained and clean. The food is good too (no room service), however I would recommend if you are looking for a memorable stay in Sal to pay slightly more and try a different hotel with direct access to the beach, beach bar, room service and good spa. The staff could be friendlier I found reception to be a bit cold and they make you wait to check-in. This is a good alternative for those who don't like huge resorts.
