A 'boutique' style hotel with a lovely setting within meters of the Ocean. We stayed in a Suite with sea view. The views are fantastic and great to wake up to in the mornings with the sun on the balcony virtually all day. The beds are huge and very comfortable. Lots of choice for breakfasts and freshly cooked hot meals. The hotel is situiated about a 10 min walk from the town. This is fine during the day but it can be a little daunting when walking back at night. Taxi from the town are around €3.00. Plenty of sun beds etc around the pool although there were still some people 'reserving' them first thing in the morning. The staff were always helpful but English is obviously not their first language, occasionally it was challenging to order exactly what was required. Unfortunately no tea or coffee making facilities in the room for a cuppa in the morning. In my personal view - If I were to go back to Sal, I would return to this Hotel.…
Dangerous area, no beach, incompetent staff.Transfer was not provided, but promised. They change numbers for the worst. At the same time they say that they would be thanked for not being sent to another hotel. See real hotel photos: is it costs 200 euros per day ?!
Last year we already enjoyed a very relaxing week at the end of a stressful year. Therefore we decided to chose this hotel again this year. Pleasantly quiet hotel with only 30 rooms, situated a little outside the town - a real blessing. This hotel is suitable for those who do not need constant animation and "action". The distance from the town centre and also from the massive tourist complexes further west of the town is a great advantage. Perfect service, all our wishes were always fulfilled immediately. Jessica and also Paolo were successful to make us feel at home and cared for. The entire staff spoke sufficient to good English. We had a spacious suite with an ocean view. Looking out at the waves of the Atlantic between the palm trees from your bed first thing in the morning is incomparable. :) Large comfortable beds and seating. Towels were changed every day. Very quiet refrigerator is in the room. First-class food! From the breakfast buffet with different offers from cakes and muesli, to differently prepared eggs, quiches and tarts and fresh ripe tropical fruits, to the snacks in the afternoon and the imaginative "Mediterraneo Fusion" dishes in the evening, we can recommend you the best. My personal favourite: Tuna Tataki - a dream! The dinner at New Year's Eve alone was worth the stay. Thank you for your hospitality - we shall be back.…
Rarely do we tend to visit somewhere twice but The Budha Beach hotel is truly worthy of a second experience. The hotel itself is a bespoke small hotel that does not cater for the masses. Instead it offers a peaceful, tranquil experience where you are allowed to relax and escape from the real world. The staff are nothing short of exceptional, friendly, attentive and engaging.... you truly couldn'tl ask for more! The hotel is also within easy walking distance from the beautiful town of Santa Maria with its great vibe, bars, restaurants and carribean style beaches. Altogether an amazing holiday experience!
Lovely boutique hotel, beautiful setting and quiet. We were a little bit hesitant choosing this place reading some of the reviews - but it met all our expectations. Design, quality of rooms and beds, swimming pool and great views. The beach is 5mn by foot, the little town, 10mn. We loved it, and can recommend to all travelers looking for some level of luxury in a “boutique” style hotel.
