First room I was given had a toilet flush that didn't work but the second room I got was OK. A/C didn't work well but I could open a window a bit and it did cool the room if given enough time. Breakfast wasn't good (eg. the only kind of bagel available was cinnamon and raisin) but it was free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location if you need a place to stay with relatively easy access to both LGA and JFK. Local grocery stores are small and expensive. It's not a bad place but I was disappointed relative to the good reviews it gets.

I was fairly happy with the stay at this hotel. However there were a few flaws. Location was not great. Initial problem with payment. I had already paid for the entire stay but realized my roommates were going to be arriving before me. I called and they said it was ok but would have to pay a $100 deposit. My friend arrived and was told they had to pay for a night, even though the entire stay was paid through Expedia. After sending a copy of my receipt, they finally agreed. Another issue was that there was a communication problem. English was not anyone’s first language. The room was small but adequate and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Other than a desk chair there was no place to sit except on the beds. The breakfast was good. A few hot items. They couldn’t recommend any restaurant or other places we would like to see/do. The staff was very friendly.

Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had a good spread with bread, pastries, eggs, cereals, meat and coffee/tea. Only 4 mins walk to the metro station and 15-20mins to Time Square/Broadway. It has ratings of 4.6/5 in 52 recent reviews from the site from which I booked - and deservedly so.

Very decent hotel - close to manhattan, safe area, clean, good breakfast including eggs and sausages. We were especially grateful for the staff service - had to cut our visit short, they were very accommodating and empathetic. Will definitely recommend!

Air Canada put us in this hotel after a canceled flight from Laguardia. The location is horrible. Right next to a train line. Beds are utterly uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin. I had the worst night sleep. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on an airport bench!

My parents and I checked in this hotel on 2/25/22. This Reservation was originally booked by my sister who had booked it and was given a confirmation number with a set price the day before our Trip to New York, we arrive and was told there was no reservation and they had to book us a room, price was higher than what was originally booked also no Receipt given! As a person who was in the Hospitality Industry for years this is Bad Business! Now to our stay, we were not happy about the room, the bathroom's sink only had hot water, the tv was not working, the beds were absolutely uncomfortable, and breakfast was completely poor, as a Chef I was appalled by the options and the way the food prepared & set up, the hot foods were not cooked properly, and not held to temperature and they had no waffle set up which was on the menu, also when you prepare hard boiled eggs you're suppose to shock em in cold water and keep them cold! Time management is very important and when you say you're serving Breakfast from 7 am to 10 am you best be ready by 7 am, that means everything should be done by that time, prepping should be started by 5:30 am the latest! Overall my parents and I were absolutely disgusted by this hotel! It may be new and clean but it falls short of expectations of how a hotel should be ran!

While waiting to check in the lady was very rude to one trying to check in . She told him the 1 in front of me she had no record of the reservation, you could not help but here. Then a new employee took over everyone started getting checked in. The man she was rude to asked the new employee for her name and he did not know for sure. I have not seen any employee with a name tag. We got in the room it had a strange Oder got air freshener to get ride of the smell. It was hot in the room at first. A door brooking under the microwave for storage. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. For the price if we new this we would have went a little far. I can honestly say I want do business with them again. Also before I for get the bath tub had soap scum, the room was not ready at check-in time. The positive part was the newer employee very polite and helpful. Keeps fid little things not o hang cloths on in the bathroom and the lighting is bad to get ready in. Bath tud drains slowly no toilet paper holder to hold it . This is located in Evergreen Alabama

Just got back after staying 3 nights at this hotel that has only been open 6 months. If you were a first time visitor to NY, Long Island City might not normally be your first choice, but having been to New York as a tourist many times, I thought I would get a hotel away from the craziness of central Manhattan, and I am so glad I did. You can be in Times Square/Bryant Park/Grand Central/wherever within 15 minutes via a choice of 3 local Subway stations, one of them 3 minutes walk away. Good local eateries and bars, well stocked 24 hour store literally 1 minute walk away. Staff were brilliant, the rooms were quiet, brand new and clean. And less than a third of the price of some budget hotels in Manhattan. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel with our 4 teenagers during October and were impressed with the quality of customer service, the pleasant rooms and the breakfast which is included. The hotel is a short subway ride away from the centre of New York so everything is really easily accessible. We would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and are looking for somewhere that you are only using for sleeping at. WiFi is great. And everywhere kept really clean.
