We needed a place to stay near Carcassonne airport - I booked last minute and wow what a beautiful surprise we had on arrival. Beautifully appointed large rooms and bathrooms with gorgeous patterned original tiles on floors. Very comfortable beds with lovely linens....also Micky was cooking on this particular night in her outdoor kitchen, with dining rom - just loved everything about it!! Will definately stay here again.

We booked at Le Domaine des Agnelles just for one night and we almost wish we had stayed for longer! The owners are a lovely and friendly Dutch couple. The room we got was "Les deux frères", which I realized was named after the portrait of two little boys in our room (if you watch lots of horror movies, this could scare you a little but I honestly enjoyed the room vibe!). It was a massive room with a large private bathroom. Everything was clean and comfy. The best part of the Domaine is outside: the pool is clean and warm, lots of spots where you could sit and enjoy the sun and at night, there is a "living room" outside where you can sit and enjoy being outside in a comfortable couch. We were only there for one night but we took advantage of everything! It was a great discovery on our way to Marseille :)

We stayed in the apartment overlooking the courtyard. It had 2 adjoining rooms, a kitchen and a bath. Would sleep 5 easily. Our family of 3 spread out in grand style. Huge rooms and very high ceilings. Perfectly quiet. The shared spaces are nice complete w/ a tv. Breakfast is good. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Perfect location to everything we wanted to see. We would love to come back!!

Domaine de Agnelles was book by me, last minute, whilst in France. The only room available was a family apartment attached to the Domaine which the extremely charming hostess allowed us to have for the same amount as a double room. The pool is the best one I have ever swum in and the garden just beautiful and peaceful. The surrounding area is lovely and interesting.

We spent three lovely nights in the family room at Domaine des Agnelles in September 2012. The property is welcoming - it felt great as soon as we arrived - and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The family room was very spacious with everything we needed. The kids had a separate bedroom, so it was more like an apartment without the cooking facilities. The breakfasts were lovely, and we also had the Table d'Hote on the night we arrived which was delicious, friendly and good value. The Domaine is in a huge old house with lots of room to relax indoor and outdoors. There is free wifi downstairs and outdoors, and a guest computer. My kids fell in love with the swings hanging from a beautiful old tree in the courtyard. They also enjoyed the table soccer and ping pong table. It is a good base to explore the area, within an hour of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi (we hired a boat at Le Somail which is very close by), amazing Cathar castle ruins and Narbonne. You definitely need a car, as there is nothing much in Villedaigne itself, but there are good dinner options in Narbonne and in Lezignan Corbieres nearby, including a really good takeaway pizza place that we opted for one night.
