I stayed at this hotel in 2018, had such a lovely time back then. Staff were friendly & helpful from the heart, the place was picture clean and the location of this hotel is excellent. Though, I've booked this hotel for 2 weeks this year from end of February until mid March. I was frustrated way too many times, just because of the location and my past experience I was patient all along. The place became very dirty, sheets had blood stain, towels weren't clean many times, all the doors and furnitures were too dirty that I had to clean them myself to stay comfortable, when I complained they only smiled, didn't take any action - I think they haven't cleaned then for at least 2 years. And what was shocking to me was the front desk and female staff and female servants attitude, they would give you looks and attitude if you asked or requested what was promised or promoted here on Agoda. Food quality lowered than 2 years ago, had a really bad experience and never coming back here again. …

Got bed bugs bites all over me, thanks to this despicable hotel. Shocking hygiene - shower was mouldy and the curtain had dirt all over it. All of the foot and bath towels were ripped (and about as thin as a sheet of paper), the bathroom is separated by a glass window and blind (who designed this place) and it’s nestled between a construction site and a host of z-grade villas. Lastly, they never had any hot water. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay here.

On the positive side this hotel is in a great location close to the W Hotel, Biku and La Lucciola. It is in a quiet late and is generally fairly quiet unless you have noisy people in the room above or next door. The bed is quite comfortable and the AC works well. However the rooms are so dirty. Mould everywhere, on the refreshment tray, the shower curtain around the sink. The towels are dirty and have holes in them.The glass around the shower looks like it has not been cleaned in ages. Also the carpet in the hallway is very stained. Don't believe me......look at the photos.

Super cute hotel. Love the fresh and Romantic design! It really feels like you stay somewhere in a family hotel in Amalfi. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Location right next to many great restaurants like Merah Putih, Mauri, Sarong,... In the morning a very good breakfast again in a beautifully designed room with lots of light and flowery patterns!

Hotel Genggong is really a 5-star property hiding under a 3-star designation. Huge, beautiful guest rooms and bathrooms. Beautifully landscaped grounds and pool. Full-service restaurant. Superb, attentive staff that looks out for your every need and request. And the view!!! Simply outstanding! Best hotel on my trip. Thank you!

Stayed here for two weeks in 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s just off the main road in Seminyak and I can’t stress how friendly and helpful the staff were. Always greeted you with a smile even if it was just popping out to the shop, the terrace on the top floor is lovely and small with a dipping pool. Had breakfast on there a few times. If you’re looking for small and boutique this is your place. Our room was nice and situated at the front of the hotel with a small balcony, the only downside was that the air con kept dripping water out of it onto the floor. Hopefully that would have been fixed by now. But yes, if you’re looking for small and cosy in Bali it’s great, and you even get free breakfast! Thank you!

Having had a bad experience in Kuta hotel arriving here was absolutely fantastic. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious. One observation there were no hand towels or face washers . This must be the norm in Bali for 4-5 star hotels. Every thing else was great. Rooftop deck fabulous at night. Would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel was okay as somewhere to merely sleep, but anything more I would be disappointed. - breakfast was very simple - the whole place could do with a deep clean - the balcony was filled with bird poo, and no seating - the hot water took forever to get warm - the pool is deceptively small compared to the pictures - laundry was really expensive (I would recommend 'Family Laundry' instead - we had a garden view room, which looked onto a building site On the plus side, the staff were really friendly

This review was a sad one to write. The building is beautiful and was once proabbly the best in the area. I cannot recommend this place to even those who are on a budget. They missed basics like clean sheets and pillows. - Sheets and pillows were dirty and had stains on them. - chair had stains on it and was dirty - towels didn't seem clean - sink was leaking I had to check out the next morning and take a hit on the non-refundable rate I paid. AVOID this hotel!

We stayed at Amalfi hotel for its good location as it is near to Potato Head club and beaches. However or overall experience was bad. Rooms have no view. Room was dirty. The bed was not comfortable. Bathroom shower was faulty. You don't get shampoo without calling the reception. Although they claim to have a shaving kit they don't have it. Pool closes at 7 PM. The restaurant kitchen closes at 9 PM. The good part was proximity to restaurants and hotel offering us a scooter. Although the helmets were shabby. Overall I would say you can find a better place at the same fare.
