We like Le Petite Ferme a lot. We like to stay in the Library Suite. This was booked and so we were booked into Room 4, Champagne. Acorns clanged irregularly on the tin roof throughout the night which made sleep difficult. This was exacerbated by...More

Lesley and I booked in for lunch and had the most amazing meal. The views are fantastic and the setting perfect for special occasions. Service was excellent and the whole experience a delight. We will be going back to try the evening menu.

Sorry it has taken me a few days to respond - I think it's probably a 2-3 mile walk into town and the wine train is almost smack in the middle of town. And it's not that easy of a walk; the first hall is along a pretty busy road with lots of fast traffic. I think it would be easier and safer to take a cab. The hotel office is closed starting early evening so it can be a little hard to arrange for a cab unless you reserve it early. It's a great hotel, just not that convenient to the downtown area.
