We stayed a week and were very happy with the room. It is exceptionally clean, the daily cleaning service is excellent! Sandra and Ernie (the owners who live on-site) are wonderful, friendly people, around to ensure everything is going well. It is obvious they really care about their guests and want our stay to be perfect! All the housekeeping staff were very friendly as well, always with a smile and a good morning to everyone. The rooms are small, not modern, but serve their function well. Mattresses are comfortable, if a little soft for my taste. In our room (standard room, not the suite) is a fridge and microwave only. WIFI worked well all around the property. The A/C worked well and was quiet. Good water pressure in the shower was appreciated also (bring your own shampoo). The pool is small, but also serves its purpose well enough. All rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, so there are at least one flight of stairs to deal with. There is a BBQ and laundry available to use (although we didn’t), but good to know. It is a quiet environment, guests are nice and polite, no-one loud or obnoxious. One issue I have, being a non-smoker, is that that the other guests smoke outside their rooms and around the pool, and I would prefer a non-smoking environment, but I don’t know if anything can be done about it. It is only a minor annoyance however. The location can't be beat, one block from the center of the boardwalk and plenty of restaurants on and off the boardwalk are nearby, didn’t have to take the car out at all. The greatest motel experience we have ever had. Sandra and Ernie went to such great lengths to make us comfortable and to make us feel like family. This is a family owned business like no other. This place is very clean. They try to keep away party animals. This is a quiet place for couples and families that don't want to be kept awake half the night by loud drunk people. Love the Sunflower. Great location. 1.5 block off the boards. Super clean rooms and grounds. Seriously spotless. Owners are awesome. Over the past years we have tried alot of different accomodations in Wildwood and luckily found the Sunflower last year. Repeated our stay this year and plan to revisit every year for we found our new Wildwood home.

This is our third time at the sunflower. the owner are kind and helpful. The are always available to help and they do it with a smile. There is a BBQ available to use and washer/dryer (2$). Locate one block from the boardwalk. The rooms are very clean. This is a good place for family. We always get the large apartment which are large and are equipped with all the tools if you want to cook (pans, stove,...). This is a quiet place and it will be enforced by the owners.
